Do you happen to know any good ancient myths? There are so many out there from different cultures concerning gods, godesses, evil creatures, beautiful ones, and the likes.
I'm very interested in these myths and the mythical creatures that they most often surround. I like to study them in my free time and have found that these creatures, there are different spins on them depending on the culture.
So I would like to see how many people have the same version of the same myths. I think it would add great information to all of our storage units in the back of our minds for those rainy days.

The Minataur
The Minataur, or the one that I am familiar with, is the one that is half-man, half-bull who lays in wait in an underground maze for those to stumble upon him where then he attacks them. Most die in the maze and those who don't end up getting attacked and killed by the Minataur.
There is an ancient Myth about them that I know, involving a hero from Ancient Greek Myth, but in it there is only one Minataur. My question though is: do any of you know of other versions?
Do you think there could have been more than one?
And also do you think it is possible that they actually do or at once did exist?
That is all, I shall check back soon.

(I wanna hear Your theories) Aphrodite:Some say she was formed from Uranus's blood mixed with oceanwater when Cronus(or Kronos, however it is!)rose up against him. Others say she was Zeus's daughter. I don't know... But I have a good reason for not having a side on which one- form what I read, the are no myths I've read after the Titan-Olympian War Involving Aphrodite! Other myths also claimed she was a Titan. Anyone got answers? heart

I'm going to have to look that up about Aphrodite. For some odd reason my brain isn't working today and I can't think properly. I will search for anything on that and then get back to you asap.
Yay, this will be my mad mission for the day. Thank you for giving me something (other than school) to do. (:
