~{Navashuryn Arhen}~Nava drove out of the city. About twenty minutes after leaving the Penthouse, she pulled into a long driveway. Out of sight of the other two, she pushed a button, Reaching the other end, she parked under her treehouse. Smiling over at Mel and Kazuya, she said, "Here we are. Home sweet home." She got out of the car and led the way to a ladder, which had come down from the treehouse above.

K a z u y aThe Dark and Infamous MagicianKazuya's eyes widened as they approached the house. It was... huge! He climbed out of the car too, and stood there in disbelief. Was this his... home? He grumbled at the thought, it was crazy! He then saw the ladder way up there, and he swallowed some air. He looked around, realizing that was the only way up. He sighed, and waited for Nava to climb up.

~{Navashuryn Arhen}~Nava started to climb up the ladder, saying over her shoulder, "I hope neither of you are afraid of heights. I'm afraid none of my rooms are at ground level." Once at the top, she moved aside to let the two slaves inside. They were in a large hallway, on one side an opening that revealed a living room and on the other side an opening to a dining room. In the center of the hallway, a spiral staircase wound around the tree trunk that came through the center of the house, the rails on the staircase in the shape of vines. Both of the rooms were roomy and bright, sharing a similar theme: green vines. Even the doors had green vines on them. Behind them, there were double doors that led out onto the balcony. "Shall I start a tour?" the wood elf asked as she looked at the others, tilting her head to the side slightly.

Mel stared out the window during the trip, a little uncomfortable to be in the vehicle, but he opened up again when they were out. He kept his hands out at his sides so the flowing sleeves wouldn't trip him, and kept his tail curved to his side so Kazuya couldn't step on it. He'd been careful to slide in place behind the wood elf, so he'd have the spot instead of the other slave. "It's absolutely magnificent," the dragonet said, following Nava up the ladder at a brisk pace. It was magnificent, in it's own elf-like sort of way. Mel had never heard of dragon that lived in a tree, but he appreciated the sign of wealth, since only the wealthy could afford to build such a home. "Oh, and the inside is lovely too! It's..." he paused, trying to find a good word even though it wasn't quite his style, "so homey." He brightened as he added, "It does flow with a look of nature." Mel looked at the craftmanship in the vines that graced the doors. Once he could get near the stairs, he'd study that as well. "I'm perfectly ready to see your home, Navashuryn," he said, smiling at the elf. He liked sounding out her name, and he hoped she appreciated not having it shortened, the way he was with his own name.

~{Navashuryn Arhen}~Nava smiled slightly at Melusine, saying, "Oh, you don't have to call me Navashuryn if you don't want to. Nava is fine. Anyways as you can see, that is the living room and that is the dining room. The doors behind you lead out onto the balcony, and there's a bathroom. Upstairs is the kitchen and another bathroom."
She led the way further into the treehouse until they were standing next to the tree trunk and they could see two hallways, one going straight and the other going to their left. "Down this hallway is my lab," she said, pointing at the hallway that continued straight ahead, "I'll show you the way later. Until then, you should probably not try going down that hallway since it is somewhat... dangerous, rigged with boobytraps and such."
She pointed down the hallway that branched to their left and said, "That leads to the bedrooms and my office. Each bedroom has their own bathroom, as well as a door that leads out to a shared balcony. You can choose whatever bedroom you like, as long as it isn't the one upstairs, since that is my room. If you don't like the decor of your room, we can go and buy whatever you would like to change it later." She looked at her two slaves, tilting her head to the side slightly. "Any questions?" she asked with a smile.
((Sorry for the late reply. >.< I blocked somewhat. xp ))

((Really? Well that's not cool. /: Did they ever even post anywhere saying they were leaving? That's alright, we can say he ran off, and you can get a replacement. As for Rorin... we'll see. xd For now, I'll go ahead and post.))
Mel laughed slightly, and made a dismissive gesture. "It's perfectly alright. I prefer to say a person's whole name rather than shortening it. It's just... so impersonal, to not even call a person by their real name." He looked around intently as she pointed out each area of the home, impressed with what he saw. When she spoke of the dangers in the hall, Mel stared down it silently a moment, waiting for Nava to turn her back. When she did, he immediately took a step forward and leaned into the hallway a little, flailing one of his arms to test her words. The traps couldn't be that bad, right? And even if he got in trouble, he was certain the kind little wood elf wouldn't be able to do much to him.
((I'm leaving you to decide whether or not a trap goes off. Even if his huge sleeves didn't hit something, I'm sure Nava would notice the sound and be like, "Wtf! D<" lol So there's her chance to react.))

~{Navashuryn Arhen}~((If they did, I have no clue where. xd Oh well. Yeah, we can say he ran off while their back was turned, lmao.))
The dragon's long, flowing sleeves brushed against the floor of the hallway. There was a clicking noise, followed by what sounded like clockwork. Nava whirled around when she heard the clicking sound and grabbed Mel, pulling him back just as a large blade went whisking by right where his arm had been dangling just moments earlier. The elf woman let out a breath, then chided gently, "Don't do that again, Mel. Please... I can't reattach an arm, or any thing else that you might lose."
((How was that? xd ))

((lmao Wonderful incentive. XD))
Melusine stopped short when he heard a click, a concerned frown crossing his face. He hadn't taken his arm away though, until Nava forced him back. The dragonet yelped at the sight of the blade, and was almost instantly behind Nava, hugging her waist like a startled child. "What kind traps are those?!" he exclaimed. Suddenly, being disobedient out of spite didn't seem very fun. After a moment, Mel realized how immature he must look hiding behind the wood elf, and he quickly stepped away and stood up straight. He fidgeted a little, not sure what to do to try and salvage his pride. "So, um... I guess I should... go pick a room, right?"

~{Navashuryn Arhen}~Nava smiled slightly, saying, "The kind of traps to keep would be thieves away from my inventions, which can be dangerous when in the wrong hands, which I would like to prevent from happening. And that sounds like a good idea... You may go and choose whichever room you like... Both of you..." She turned to address Kazuya and then blinked when she saw that he wasn't there. "Kazuya?" she called, moving to the end of the hallway and looking around. She didn't see him anywhere; apparently, he had run off while she was distracted with making sure Melusine didn't lose a limb.
