Episode Discussion 12/10 "The Ancient One" *spoilers* I'm putting that there because when I edit it to add the summary I'll have to put the damn title back in. *L* And yeah as per usual I'm starting the topic because I'm the only one geeky enough to not only be up but to be on Gaia at the same time. A summary of something other than Legend of Zelda So like, the princess was captured because she's a twit and she always gets captured, but Link was like "******** that, I'm tired of her always getting her butt captured" and he decided to go out for a beer instead.

Alright um... yeah... I'm PMSing like crazy (and contrary to popular believe that makes ALL emotions go crazy it doesn't just make us bitchy) and I think I'm getting sick so that probably had something to do with my reaction but...
I was literally so happy I cried at the end. xd But the beginning...
I was right! I knew it would take Leo hurting someone he loved (or someone he loved getting hurt b/c of him) to start him towards... finding himself or whatever. So talk about INTENSE this morning! I got teary eyed at that... but I didn't cry.
The Ancient One was just great. I think without him there wouldn't have been any humor in this episode.
You'd think I'd have buckets to say but right now all I can do is squeel. I was holding Gadget at the time and the poor thing wasn't expecting me to squee my head off.
I am SO happy! This is the episodes us crazed Leo fans have been waiting for and as far as I'm concerned it did NOT disappoint.

Wow . . I'm actually able to be on here earlier than normal and somehow it just seems . . wierd (yes, I'm working off the episode if anyone gets that "joke") . .
*cough* Anywho . . Lady you are so right that we've been waiting for this; I have to admit that I was wondering since last Saturday just how Major Flatulance (yes, I nicknamed The Ancient One . . so sue me!) could actually get Leo back to normal, but figured that maybe if his sense of smell were assaulted enough then maybe Leo'd snap to his senses. blaugh
As it turns out I loved this episode and was, if not sqeeling, then at least ready to do a happy dance when I saw Leo smile for what must be the first time in who knows how many weeks. I just hope that from now on he won't be taking stupid pills -- we need our Blue Wonder back in the house . . I mean, back in the lair!
(Anybody else think that this may just make Klunk ecstatic?? ninja )

Good episode. Leo is now on the path of healing. He will never be himself but now he can change for the better. As long as Leo believed that no harm came from his new attitude he saw no reason to change it. Now that his master's life was almost lost as a result Leo had to look at himself for the first time this season. See the monster he was becomming. Now Leo can heal.

Loved today's episode. We have old Leo back. I KNEW my bro couldn't stay angry forever...
I was scared shitless when Leo cut Splinter... man, I totally yelled "SENSEI! NOO!"
Is it just me, or did the "poopy face" brothers resemble D'jinn (Splinter's friend from the Battle Nexus)?
I never expected The Ancient One to be Master Yoshi's sensei... that was totally unexpected. I liked how he told Leo to just surrender against the bakemono. Though I knew Leo would be an a** and not comply right away.
The fight against the golem representing Leo's fear was simply the best. I hope they make a figure of him, or at least have him in the next game. Kickass all the way.
Next episode is... "Cousin Sid." WTF?
( LOL... Major Flatulence...)

lol. one paragraph lady leo said she cried and then the next one she said she didn't blaugh
anyway, another good episode with great lessons and stuff. leo realized he did his best and also learned sometimes you have to surrender or you might die or something.
anyone else thought the golem or sensei might have morphed into splinter? ninja
uh...what's this about the next episode? i think my recorder cut out when they were showing what was going to be on the next sonic x

Y'know I was so busy doing a happy dance and trying to stop Gadget from chewing my fingers off that I didn't even stick around for the "next episode" stuff. o_O

Loved this episode. 3nodding
It's great to see our old Leo back... or at least what seems like a Leo that's healing, as Creativerealms put it. Leonardo got the best psychiatrist on earth to set him straight!
The Ancient One was hilarious and down to earth. And I could "smell" the farts in my living room while watching this episode. whee I wonder what Ancient One's fighting skills are like -- we've only seen his wisdom so far. Does he "gas" his opponents?
And it was great to see Leo finally break a smile... it's about time. wink

dburger And I could "smell" the farts in my living room while watching this episode. rofl rofl rofl if you smelled farts in your living room, don't blame someone inside of a television set 4laugh looks like dburger had one of those grand slam breakfasts yesterday morning xd dburger I wonder what Ancient One's fighting skills are like -- we've only seen his wisdom so far. Does he "gas" his opponents? well as (IIRC) S said in the other topic, he's reminiscent of bo rai'cho (SP?) so maybe he uses the drunken style also, when leo first started walking in japan, did anyone else think of kunglao because of his outfit?

I read on many sites that we were supposed to get at least one more new episode after "The Ancient One". That and the fact that our first rerun (according to someone that I talk to that is usually right) was supposed to be "Dragon's Brew". So this is totally deus ex machina.
Besides that, wasn't it last year (or perhaps the previous year), we didn't have any winter repeats at all?
