Aislynn clapped chalk on her hands as she stared up at the trembling wall that had knocked her down for the fifth time today. Her rear was singed and she was sure that disgusting smell was her hair, which despite the fact that she had gathered it into a neat little bun, was probably burning as well. She paid it no heed as the walls sent a rain of rocks down and stepped back, waiting about half a second before grabbing a handhold and hauling herself up.
She hated this damn wall, she thought, pursing her lips as she stretched for the next hold. With the lava, and the rocks, and the shaking...but she wasn't about to be beaten by a WALL. No way in Hades. She pushed off of her foothold and pulled herself up farther, quickly dodging another falling rock and slipping only slightly. She was not going to fall this time...

With a slip, shout, and a crash, Aislynn found out exactly how she was supposed to get down. She had managed to fumble her way back down the wall, but then a rogue rock had come flying at her head. She had scrambled for another foothold as she moved out of the way but realized that she couldn't quite stand on air, and went flying down towards the ground. Luckily, they had padded it. She didn't want to know what cracking your head against the cold stone floor would feel like.
Groaning, she sat up and rubbed her head, then her posterior yet again.
"Stupid wall..." She muttered, but couldn't hide a sense of accomplishment at finally being able to get to the top. She didn't care to try and get down safely again, however, as she had had enough of that damn wall. Brushing what was left of the chalk off of her hands, Aislynn beat a swift retreat away from her 'nemisis'.

Damien looked up the wall in awe. It looked like they could go up for hours and get nowhere. Then again, it could just be him. "Agree with you on that one," he said, looking up and down it. "Going to take a while to climb...."

Damien looked toward Brian, listening. After Brian finished, Damien turned his attention toward his spear. "I'm ready whenever you are," Damien said, with a light smile and an urge to climb the tall wall. He was great at climbing, and it did help that he climbed school walls and fences back at home. Lots of trouble, but very fun.

Damien took off and jumped a good five feet onto the wall. He began using his spear like a mountain axe, stabbing it into the wall and using it to help him get his grip when he couldn't do it by himself. He continued using this approach until the jagged rocks claim, making it easier to do it purely by hand. He looked around and saw Brian coming closer, so he quickly got himself ready for the first fight.

Damien quickly threw the spear in-front of himself, letting the sword hit his spear, creating a wave of sparks. Despite the slight blur from the bright light, he thrust the spear at Brian, watching his own footing to make sure he didn't fall.

Damien watched Brian's quick recovery and looked for a quick solution to his climbing problem. He saw some better ledges to the left, so he shifted his position and began climbing with greater ease and speed. He looked down to see Brian's position.
