 The day was young, so much so the sky was still a shocking shade of red. Aura was up like the early bird she was born and always was. Why was this they asked her? because at this time, everything seemed to magical and everything seemed to glow. That is what she told them at least, truth was she could not really remember the last time she had a goods night sleep. She suffered from a sleeping disorder and because of it, she stayed up late at night and was up before anyone else she knew. However it did not bother her, she liked the feeling of being the only person in the world. It was calm and peaceful and no one would hurt her. She did not fear others, not all all, however there was always something twittering on at the back of her head when she befriended others, that in some way they where going to end up growing apart. That was something she did fear. Anyway with that over lets begin out tail.
Aura was on her way to get a bath, something that was just as pleasant as it was to you and me, she had her own little place. There was a hot spring not too far away from where she lived, it was a wonderful place full of flowers, steam and little glowing butterflies. It was not long before she was at this magical place. With a small, rare, smile on her face she went to the edge of the steaming pool. Looking down into the crystal waters. Holding her breathe she put in her paw, straight away taking it back out. Man! that was hot. It took her a few attempts however before long, she was up to her belly in the warm liquid. Slowly she laid down, and was taken into her little heaven, it was steamy and the water seemed to massage her joints. All the stress of the world was taken away by the ripples that where around her.
Closing her sparkling illuminant eyes, her mind came to wonder about what she was going to spend her day going. She would stay her if she could however that would not be a constructive way to spend her time, she should really go home and continue on her painting, she mixed her own berries and made brush strokes with her tail. It was a hobby she had picked up from the other members of her family, which was not that big to be honest, she did not mind though, she was nervous around people and huge get together's would kill her, however she loved them all dearly. Her little family. However back to the painting, it was large and of many flowers and animals she had met. To others is was a beautiful piece of art however she did not think it was that good. She never took much pride in anything that she did. If she painted tonight, a upside would be she would have to come back for another bath tomorrow!

Star Burr woke up as he saw the red of the rising sun. It was a habit of his... He couldn't sleep once the sun started to rise. Star never minded though. He poked his head out of the bush and peeked out at the new day. Truth be told... He had no idea how he ended up in the bush. The last thing he remembered was being with the rest of his family, he was talking about snowboarding soon and how he's the best and that he'd beat the rest of them when... Oh yeah... The kit [Kalyca] got annoyed of him and ended up chasing him out. Ugh, he thought to himself. And to the fact that I actually like spending time with the younger ones... Maybe just not that particular one...
He looked around at his surroundings. Immediately, Star noticed a little white daisy with a small butterfly sitting on top. It was weird to him. For some reason... The butterfly looked as though it was glowing. Poking his head closer cause the butterfly to be alarmed, and immediately flew away from him. With his curiosity, he couldn't do anything but follow it. If he let it go, it would bug him because he'd wonder how in the world did that thing glow. Or did it?
Little by little, he followed the butterfly. Every time he got closer, the butterfly would fly away again. Noooo! Stop flying away from me please!, he kept begging to the butterfly mentally. He kept following it until it started to fly over a steaming pool of water. Oh no! I can't see it anymore! He sighed and lay down at the edge of the pool and dipped his paw in. The temperature of the water was soothing. He was about to go into the water for a bath when he heard a slight slash...
He knew now that he wasn't alone, and he started to slowly follow the noise, headed towards the other end of the pool...
Maybe I'll see that mean butterfly as well!

Aura was minding her own business, so much so she was almost falling asleep in the water. Then she heard something herself, maybe it was a stone that feel in, however she would rather determine if the noise came from something friendly or not so much. She swallowed a lump in her throat before she started to travel through the water.Then she saw something starting to form in the mist. A light blob that seemed to get darker and darker as it came closer. Then when it did come close colours seemed to form, this blob which did not represent anything in her mind seemed to form a figure. One of another wish like herself. However this one was male, and he was coloured in a odd tone of green with some star pattens and swirls. It was not uncommon to see a wish with a interesting and unique coat as ever one was different. However admiring them was something you could never get bored of. She smiled then she realised, just because it was another of her kind did not mean the male was not a threat, at least he was not a evil. There was some hope he could be a nice soul.
Nervously she stepped back a little her ears drawn back not knowing what to do. Then they made eye contact. She froze where she was stood at time seemed to slow down to the point she could feel her pulse through her heart which seemed to now be located in her throat. She was always on edge when meeting people for the first time. She took in another deep breathe before she forced a smile on her face. "H-hello there..." she stuttered breaking eye contact and looking to the side her chin on her shoulder.

Approaching the noise, Star was able to see a figure in the water. Slowly growing closer, she noticed that it was another wish. Specifically... A dark blue-green wish with light green and yellow patterns on her coat. Yes... Her. Star was very much enticed by this wish, and plucked a nearby white flower and headed closer to her.
He came to the edge of the water and lay the flower down. She looked... Alarmed and scared of him, so he placed a cheery smile on his face. That's a first he thought to himself. Usually other wishes are not afraid of me first glace.... After she greeted him, she had looked to the side. Goodness.. That's so adorable.
"Hi there, miss," he said quietly as he lay down at the pond's bank. "I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you at this time." It was his turn then to look to the side and feel slightly embarrassed. That is so unlike me to be embarrassed!. "I'm Star Burr, but you can just call me Star."

Aura looked at the other a little brought back, her piercing eyes watching ever move he made and then some. She was never one to let down her guard around strangers, or give them any reason to take a sudden dislike to her, she stayed quiet as she followed the movements of the male, she blinked looking down at the flower he had placed on the banking a little confused, then she looked up at him her ears back in a sht manor her eyes large and innocent.
"My name is Aura." She stated as she swallowed a lump in her throat and made her way out of the water to be by him, however not too close she still was not too sure what was going on.

Smiling gently at the sweetness of the other Wish, Star picked up the flower again, carefully holding it with his paw, and brought it closer to her. "Nice to meet you Aura," he said gently, still smiling. He could tell that she was still wary of him. "Take this," he whispers and brings the flower closer. "A token of a first meeting and forever friendship."
He flipped over to his back and looked up at the morning sky. He liked how the colors were changing slowly with time, and he enjoyed doing nothing but watching. Star then looked at Aura with a questioning look. "Don't you think the sky is perfectly beautiful at this time? It's so gentle... peaceful. Much different compared to when almost everything is stirring during mid-day..."

"Yea, I like this time of day, however its far too early for some people, maybe its because there eyes are sleepy that everything looks so much so like a dream." She stated as she leant forward and grabbed the flower in her mouth sitting down on the ground her long tail wrapping around her legs, her ears upright with curiosity, a token of a friendship that was going to last forever? Someone who made a statement like that forced her to say.
"You seem nice Star, however we have just met, you can not really call a stranger a friend can you not? also forever is a very long time. It will live on when are bones have tuned into dust and our names are lost in memory, can you really be someone's friend for that long?" She asked, not trying to be mean or in any way try to loose the other wish, if anything he interested her with was something very few people did. She took in a deep breathe and tilted her head to one side, a innocent look on her face and a small twinkle in her eye.

Star looked back up at the sky as he pondered Aura's question. Just looking at the colors, he thought for a period of time, until he slowly started.
"Anyone can be a stranger, and anyone can be a friend," he spoke softly. "It just depends on whether the other person wants to be a stranger or friend." He looked at Aura and smiled. "So that 'stranger' or 'friend' depends on you, since I'm already willing to be friends."
"As for 'forever'..." He laid his head back down again, facing the sky with his eyes closed. "Forever lives in the mind and heart of those who want it to. A Wish can choose to forget, or they could choose to remember. For me, whether something be good or bad, I prefer to remember it all, and for all time. That is forever for me."
He looked towards Aura again and smiled.

"I guess you are right, I prefer to think friendship is something you earn, like trust and forgiveness. I am willing to be friends too though - as long as you promise to be a friend okay? and I will too! ~" Aura nodded and nudge herself closer to the other wish, like a puppy on the floor dragging itself with its two front paws, before sitting up again, her tail cradling her once more. However her eyes stated the fact she had not moved. Never he was deluded. Why would she approach a stranger?
"Really there is nothing you would forget... thats.... really brave. I wish I was that brave. However I am afraid I have a whole lot of things I would want to forget.. I know its meant to make you stronger, however I think memories have just filled me with fear..." She then stopped and shock her head, she was probably just freaking him out...

Star slightly nodded at what she said. "I agree to what you say, but it's also others' willingness. If one is unwilling, then there would be no progress!" He laughed a little. He could tell that she was getting more used to him, and he was happy Aura was relaxing more. In general, he just likes making new friends. His tail flicked in the air happily as he could tell they were no longer 'strangers'.
When Aura stopped talking, Star could sense that she was sad or worried about something. He went a little closer to her, but knew that she was still partially afraid, so stopped still decently away from her.
"Every day, every Wish has their own memories," he said gently, trying to make her feel better. "It's hard to accept some things, some times, but I've learned that good memories come with the bad. Even with a bad memory, I accept them because, if compared to the good memories, they make good memories even sweeter." Star let out a little sigh. He loved his memories. It was better than having none, and bringing it all together made his life... well.. his life.

"I guess that makes sense, I mean the sweet is not as sweet until you have tasted the bitter and all of that. However it does not stop the bad memories from sucking lemons." She pouted one of her cheeks puffed out slightly and her tail tapping slightly. Her eyes wondered off back to the sky as she closed her eyes taking a deep breathe in then looking at his again regaining a smile on her face.
"Anyways I came here to kind of bath so... She stated as she went back into the hot steaming water and laid down so it came to just under her neck letting the soothing moisture take over her once again. "You d-dont have to go if you dont want." she added looking back over her shoulder then closing her eyes once more to relax and think about her art work. What was she going to do with it...?
