Deirdre traced the outline of a spider on the bathroom floor. Her charcoal stained her palms and dress, but it would be worth it with Aunt Lisle took her shower. She drew in little eyes, shaded it's back and even added little speckles.
Leaning back, the toddler grinned and wiped her face, smearing a black streak from forehead to chin. "Dis'll be so funny!"

Kaito leaned into the doorway of the bathroom. Dei had been gone far too long and the toddler felt that his twin was up to something...again. He was about to speak, but then he noticed the outline on the floor.
Mischief glittered in his bi-colored eyes. It just happened that a sliver of shadow was created by the bathtub. With a grin his fingers splayed out and started air walking like a spider would. Just the same a small eight legged part of the tub's shadow started towards his sister.

Deirdre whislted while she worked. Now the spider resembled a black widow, with it's little red hourglass on the back. Maybe she should add some more...?
She looke up and screamed. Out of fear, she scrambled back to the wall, her dual colored eyes wide until she saw it. The part where the shadows connected to the spider. Growling, she spun around on her brother and extended her claws to just inches from his face. "Kaito! Why you gotta be such a pooty head?"

Kaito was doubled over in a fit of laughter by the time Deidre had caught him. "So-So-Sorry!" He sputtered between laughs. "Just...couldn't resist!" He coughed and the shadows went back to place as he eyed his sister's claws.
"Dei, tha's dangerous!" He backed away against the wall. Sharp things, especially concerning his sister made him wary. "Buh, ya have ta admit it was funny."
He grinned, "I wanted ta see how the spida trick worked on you. 'Specially since you doin' the same with Aunt Lisle." He sniffed innocently, "And its cuz your my adowable sista."
Already his hands were searching the wall for the faint pulse of a shadow.

"Duh!" She stuck her tongue out at him and retracted them, wiping the tears from her eyes. Warily she smiled. "Nuh uh. Was scary. Would'a been funnier if it were Auntie."
She wobbled up on her legs and wrapped her arms around his neck, grinning. "We do it to'geda, brova? And den maybe he'll get us icy!" One of Deirdre's vices; ice cream. The infant couldn't go a day without it.
"See, if oo make a spida, I make da click-clicky and boom!" She clasped her hands with a fit of giggles.

"Woulda, true." Kaito nodded and pulled his hands out from the wall with relief. Angry Sista...was well angry sista. He supported her with a smile as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Togetha?"
He paused thoughtfully before a small grin slid over his features. Dei got icy cream (hopefully him too) while he got amusement anyways. Sounded fun! the infant nodded eagerly.
"Yeah, yeah! Wez do's that!"

"Togetha." She confirmed with a nod. Deirdre looked back over her shoulder at the drawing on the floor, then at the shadows. "How Auntie gonna come?"
Usually Lisa, or Lisle, never left the bathroom. She was always primping, but today she hadn't been seen. Deirdre frowned when an idea hit her. "Gimme!"
The infant snatched Kaito's beanie and tossed it ontop of the widow's butt. "Der. Now it looks real!"

Kaito pursed his lips as he stared at the shadows. If anyone was paying close attention they might have noticed the little wave that the dark mass did as a slender portion of it slide outside of the bathroom. The infant closed his eyes and then snapped them open with a giggle, "Auntie's got bed head so definitetaly is hurried to 'ere!" He giggled.
Kaito's mouth dropped open in surprise as his beanie was taken. "Aww!" He would have reached out for it had they not been waiting for his Aunt. So the boy just gave a slight glare to his sister before nodding. Fine.

Deirdre giggled. "Ooo mean 'offin head." She thought back to the old way her Aunt slept, along with most of the member's of the castle. Her claws lengthened as she sat back down on the tile, clicking them lightly like a spider. "Shh! She a'comin!"
"God's blood," Lisle murmured, scratching her stomach as she stumbled up to the bathroom. Her robe was clearly meant for a man and hung off her shoulder. Chocolate brown hair stuck out at every angle. She fumbled around on the wall for the light switch and hissed when the light came on. "Adrian, that d**k. I told him not to buy the bright bulbs."
Deirdre looked up and her brother and nodded. Go!

Kaito just rolled his eyes playfully at his sister. But excitement made the blood in his veins throb - ah the aspect of a hunt...err prank. His grin spread as he watched his aunt. She didn't sees them yet! Perfect.
Kaito nodded back to Deidre and stared intently at the small patch of shadow that had changed in the presence of brighter lights. His fingers moved just like before and the shadow, a bit reluctant at first began to move towards his aunt.

Deirdre kept up with her rhythm and had to fight back a giggle. Auntie was gonna be so surprised! She licked her left fang with anticipation. Icy, icy, icy, icy...
Lisle stumbled over to the sink and yawned, stretching her arms out above her head. Then her ears pricked. Something wasn't right. A black shape caused her to look down, locking on the spider. For a moment there was nothing.
Then she let loose a god awful wail. "SPIDER! AHHHHH!" A human's ear would have burst. Lisle jumped straight up into the air and stood on the sink, knocking over a load of toiletries and perfumes, clutching that the mirror with terror in her eyes.

The infant doubled over in silent laughter at his aunt's reactions. past the innocent amusement a hidden pride bloomed. They had fooled someone like Auntie! Kaito grinned happily, him and his sista was a good team!
His spider creature floated over the cool floor and made way towards his aunt's feet. But it was beginning to be obvious, especially with the infant whose control was weakening with his bursts of laughter that was threatening to spill out loudly.
Aunty was so silly right now! He just couldn't help himself. Kaito grinned over at his sister and giggled.

Lisle's toes curled over the porcelin sink. The damn thing was coming for her! It was- wait. "Th-that's a shadow." She said suspiciously, calming down from her terror filled high. And the clicking had stopped.
Deirdre couldn't take it anymore. She burst into a fit of giggles and rolled on the floor, clutching her little ribcage. "Auntie so funny! She scream 'will loud!" They'd done it! She looked up at her brother. "We did it!"
"You sure did." Lisle frowned. "You scared me to death! And now, I'm gonna get you!" She hissed, displaying her fangs as she crouched down on the sink.

"Yeah, yeah! Silly Auntie!" Kaito collapsed on the floor with his sister in hysterics. He panted but managed to nod excitedly at Deirdre. His eyes gleamed with excitement that turned with slight terror as his aunt hissed at them.
"Uh-oh! RUUUUUN!" Kaito bounced up from the floor and grabbed for his sister. They had ta make it out alive! "Rampiaga Aunty!"

Deirdre shrieked and immediately took Kaito's hand. "We not gonna make it!" Auntie was too fast for them! She scrambled behind her twin, looking back over her shoulder as Lisle stalked out of the bathroom.
"Mwahahaha! Run, little royals, run! When I catch you I'll gobble you up!" She licked her lips and immitated a swallow, patting her stomach with a grin.
"RUN KAITO!" Deirdre shrieked.
