So I get off of work last night, and finally return home. The instant I walk in the room, my sister says, "Dad called, he wants you to bring Tav (little brother) to his house around six."
Apparently, this weekend is a dad's house weekend. I am legally an adult, but I'm running out of excuses on why I can't go to his house. He's so clingy, if I just told him that I didn't feel like it, he'd flip out.
So I tell her, I can't take him at six, since I have to go to work at 4:30, and my sister goes off and tells me how I should get more responsibility and communicate with my father (even though she never talks to him either).
I'm working to pay for my car, my school classes and supplies. The only thing I'm not paying for is my cellphone bill. And my friends get to take a s**t ton of loans and have no clue how they're paying for it, AND I'M BEING CALLED ******** pissed, I call him. I tell him that I can't take Tav at the time he requested, and asked if I could bring him in before I go to work.
Instead of understanding the fact that his daughter is about ready to fly off the handle with life, Dad instead goes off on me. "I don't like your attitude, you shouldn't talk to me that way."
BECAUSE I GUESS SAYING THE WORD REQUESTED IS A SMART-a** THING TO DO. SORRY I READ AND HAVE A DECENT VOCABULARY.
"Fine, sorry." is all I have to say. He tells me he'll swing by the house and pick up Tav, and rudely hangs up the phone.
So my weekend plans are ruined.
I have a History final on Monday, and a book review due in that class. I have about four chapters to study on, it takes me an hour for each chapter.
I could study in my bedroom, but every time I"m in there for longer than five minutes, dad barges in and tells me that he thinks i don't love him because I'm not by his side every single second.
I also have beading homework, but I can't work on it there because it's also his Christmas gift.
Hell, I didn't even know today was Friday until he called me last night. All I do is go to work, school, then home. I've lost track of what day it is long ago, and I'm starting to lose track of time.
I'm ready to ******** explode, and he isn't helping at all. If I'm lucky, he'll kick me out of the house. My pleasure, really.
I don't have TIME to stop and call people. I'd appreciate it if he called me any time BUT the night before.
tl;dr - ******** you, go post what you're listening to if you can't read this.

I also hate it when people call at the last second. It is very annoying. I've never really had to deal with anything like this. Hm.
Maybe you should just go over today / this afternoon, after work. Study and do homework Saturday and Sunday. Call him and explain that this test is very important to you and your grades and you really need to spend time on your studies. Promise him you'll make it up to him some other way.
Hope everything goes well. ^^

RELAX.
It sounds like you know that your study is more important than the bullshit you hear from your father. neutral Tell your father that those tests are very important, and you're not planning to fail them, just because you really have little time left?
good luck. <3
