Zane sat near the pine, but far enough so that the monster couldn't snap a bite. His blond hair blowed in the wind, sometimes getting in his brown eyes.

"This camp is so vast." he said, opening his arms up, but then dropping them. His gloomy eyes settled on the cabins, each one standing proud and tall.
"Which one is mine?" he asked the sky. Only thunder. "Nice answer."he said.
Zane brushed his hair from his eyes, giving a better look of the cabins. He swallowed, feeling the saliva run down his throat. He leaned on the hill, hoping that he could rest here for more than a day.

"Yo" I said, standing behind the boy. I had a cap jammed on my head, covering most of my spiky red hair, and slanting over my green eye. He looked older than me, just by a bit, and I wondered how he'd react to a girl like me, standing over him, holding a sword. I sheathed it before he saw the deadly looking blade.
