So I have a thing about going to the gym,
I don't enjoy it at all, and I barely try.
But I have a Wii,
and I bought this game
User Image

It's a cross between DDR and BodyJam/Calisthenics.
I've been doing it for two days now.
Yesterday I was fine,
my heart-rate was up and I was sweating pretty fiercely,
and I was sore this morning in my arms and upper back,
but nothing to complain about.

Today when I started up,
my elbows and arms hurt instantly,
then I soon felt like vomiting.
After an hour workout I stopped and had an ice cube
and a cool shower.
Now I don't feel as sick,
but my arms/back/upper abdomen is sore.

Is it normal to feel like you're going to vomit?

I'm not an expert, but perhaps you tried too much too fast? If you never exercise and then jump into an hour-long cardio workout then that can probably do it to you. Just a suggestion, I've really no idea. o_o

I also feel sick sometimes if I exercise while hungry (maybe five or six hours after the last meal).

If you're sore when starting a workout then it can get worse for a while, and then ease off when you warm up. Stretching after exercise (or in the shower, lol) should help with that, and/or doing a quick warm-up a few hours after.

I usually feel sick when I haven't had enough water or if it gets so I can't breath right. Usually, I can make it stop if I slow down for a few minutes (like walking around for a few minutes) and grabbing something to drink.

A) that thing looks fantastically cool.

B) That's a little alarming, there are a few things it could be. If you hadn't eaten for a while before you started you might have had a blood sugar drop. Those happen to me and sadly it's a little crazy, if I don't eat *enough* of a breakfast before going on a ride I'll bonk and it does feel a little like throwing up at first. Then like passing out. >.> Then I look around and eat whatever edible greens that are on the ground if I don't have any food. Hem.

Other than that, what kind of warm up/stretches are you doing? It might be worth looking into,

And other than *those* things, I've no clue. Perhaps the soreness of the work out you did yesterday didn't hit you until now?

It's happened to me before (though not in a while...) if I run too hard after eating too much / not drinking enough. It was probably just a one-time thing. 3nodding
