Mine would be that when my BD gets mad, she purposely makes us play on and on for minutes after the bell rings. Then when she finally lets us go, we're all just shakiing out the spit without swabbing, pulling our instruments apart as fast as we can, running to put our chairs and stands away. Then we all sprint to our next classes cuz "She wouldn't let us go on time and we had to put our things away" isn't a excuse for our teachers. mad
she's partly the reason we all have so many tardies.
How bout you? confused

I can't really think of anything for my director, except for when she gets all stressed and screams at us. c:

My band teacher does that to us every day neutral
I've never considered my teacher a teacher, he's one of my best friends and always will be, So I'm one of the only students he can ignore and get away with it. He uses this power a little too often stare

Dude, my BD just talks and talks. Like ; say the flute section missed a note, "Oh man! C'mon guys. All you need to do is count and practice at home...Blahblahblah, why when I was in high school, I practiced at my house every night because I loved the sound of my instrument..blahblahblahblah. Now that i know whats for lunch we can be a really good band..blahhh." *DING* Then the bell rings and we start packing up. "HEY! DONT PACK UP UNTILL IM DONE HERE!" So we're all late.

my bd keeps us after the bell 'accidentally' some times. What I hate is that my current class is clear across campus. But next semester, i won't have too much of a problem except the fact that I will be going to band and then even farther away.
By the way, I needed a semester credit for a class, which i got this semester, so I am doing both bands next semesterXD Hopefully, i will be playing something toher then clarinet(I suggested oboe, but his answer was a maybe. frankly, i could have told him I can play whatever he needs me on most, but then I would probably get trombone, which I dislike. No offense. More of a I'm not fond of playing it. I like the trombone's sound, though. And our tbone players are some of the more dedicated in the band. Wow, this was longer then I expectedXD)

My BD can be really manipulative. He somehow gets people to play instruments they never considered before when they say only the slightest things like "Yeah, brass sounded really good last night."

We'll be talking to him and he acts like he's listening, even replies and then either totally just walks off in a middle of your sentence or like 2 minutes later says EXACTLY word for word what you had just said.
Example:
Me: So how are those horn players at ____?
Him: They're actually really good, I just hope you like gay people, most of the guys are flaming
Me: I love gay people ^^ I only know 2 of those horn players though, especially _____ ______ but that's not her last name anymore, she got married
Him: Yeah... hey do you know _____ _____ but that's not her last name anymore she just got married
Me: O_o? Yeah...
or
Me: Hey can you help me with this rhythm?
Him: Yeah *looks at paper; takes paper; walks to talk to someone else; plays rockband*
Me: Thank you? -.-*

What annoys me is when our Band Director gets extremely mad and then is suddenly super cheery. He'll be all, "NO!!! YOU DO NOT PLAY THERE!!! THERE IS A REST THERE!!!! Okay let's start on measure 23 =)"

My BD is pretty much perfectt! I love that man. He doesn't really do anything to make any of us mad. He gives us really good critique, but he's not too harsh about it.

Our asstiant BD, shes basically there just in case one of the teachers are sick, lessons, or for our upcoming solo and ensemble compotistions. Anyways, when shes directing us -.- oh my god... she stops us like every 2 measures to fix us, when we sound fine. Then she goes on talking about how good she is and then stories and stories. Poor flute, she's a flute player so shes always on the flutes to correct there positer or tune. She even made fun of us or dis'd us. I was like WHAT THE ********?! -.- i hate her..

My band director is the best and there isn't really that much that she does that annoys me. Just that she always makes us laugh then immediately makes us play again. I don't know about you, but I can't play my Horn when I'm smiling. rofl
