This is the new battle arena thread. Here we will rp fights between guild members. You will use your current RP character, but this battle rp is seperate from the main rp threads. As in it wont affect your characters current play in the main rp threads. (EX: If your character gets an arm cut off in the battle arena they will still have two arms in the main rpg)
All battles taking place will be posted here in the Field of Honor thread.
Some battles are just for fun. those will be the ones everyone gets a pm for. If you refuse the challange put to you by the guild your name will go on a has no honor list. Now this list is not for embarresment reasons. It's purely to get members active in the guild. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd hate to see my name on a list for refusing to participate in the guild.
Other types of battle will be clan related. This is for someone of low rank in there clan that wants a higher rank. (EX: Your character is a low ranked samurai & you want to be either second in command or even the clan leader. What you do is pm either the guild captain or vice captain stating your wish for a battle with a higher ranked clansmen.) Yes it has to be in your clan not someone elses. Then that higher ranking member gets pmed that they are summoned to fight. The winner then has the rank they wanted. If the person being challenged in a fight of clan ranks refuses or just doesn't show up for the fight they will be stripped of their current rank. The challenger then will recieve their new clan rank.
If for any reason you don't think you'll be able to participate at some point & time in the battles please pm me with your reasons why. Real life can & probably will at times get in the way. This is expected & understood. If your reasons are bad ones like "i'm busy elsewhere on gaia so can't battle today" then all I can say is to bad for you cuz you just lost the battle to the challenger.
There will be random battles for an actual prize done as well. The prizes will also be random. They could be an item from the stores (clothes, etc...) or a gold prize.
remember not everyone can stay online as long as others can. i thank you in advance for your patience if the fights take more than a day to do.

Now everyone may be asking how do we choose the winner. Below explains how this will be done.
When two members are fighting they need to post in the field of honor thread 10 times each. each post has to be a fighting post. after each member has made their tenth post the NPC character moding the battles (it will be a crew member) will have each member post a number between 1 thru 20. then the NPC will use the random number post. the member closest to the number from the random number & not going over that number will then be told to post the killing blow & be declared the winner. the person being killed is only dead in the battle arena subforum not in the regular rp threads. (yes you will be called into battle again in the future so you wont be dead for long 3nodding )
The NPC character that will be used by the crew for the battles will be the Emporer(for the male crew) & the Emporess (for any female crew)
if your not one of the members that were pmed to come & fight here please don't post here until it's your turn. anyone posting in here that was not invited by pm will have their post deleted.

The Emporer walks into the room. "The first official fight for the new battle arena will take place soon. The opponents have been notified of there need to come & fight. May you all fight with honor. Now let the fighting begin!"
A guard opens the doors allowing the fighters into the arena. He announces their names.
"Himura _ Kenshin & lily564a. May you both fight with honor & bring glory to yourselves & your clans."
