It was early in the morning and Kya had left her den in search of an adventure. She was excited, the pup had been growing so much lately, and she was able to do new things everyday. Unfortunately for her mother the ability to take part in new adventures often meant that Kya came home at night filthy dirty, and needed and extra long bath, which of course was a pain in the behind because her mother had 12 other pups to wash at night as well.
As Kya ran through the pack lands she spotted a few dogs here and there that were also early risers, she smiled to them as she jumped around, catching bugs, she was wondering if perhaps she would be able to find someone to play with her, or an adult to teach her something. The day was early, she thought lots of time to find someone to do something amazing.

 Agade had yet to meet with any of his nieces or nephews, but he figured he would soon enough. He was still thinking of htat lovely red female me met earlier, grinning at the thought. He just had to meet up with that lovely vixen again soon! He strutted through the pride, making sure that everyone was safe from intruders as he did so. It was his job after all, even if it was more fun to simply laze around all day. And he did do quite a bit of that, but he did have some responsibilities he had to look out for. So he was doing some patrols.
He stopped when he saw a little purple and blue female, hmmm she looked oddly familiar. Was that one of Adeto's little spawns? He decided to find out. He approached the pup as he stopped and grinned at her. "Now what are you doing out here alone little lday? Didn't you know its good to stay with your mommy while you are itty bitty?" he said as he lay down and gave out a great yawn. He did get bored father often these days.

Kya froze oops she thought had she done something bad. Kya was a cub who enjoyed exploring playing and fighting, but it was very exciting she couldn't help but get a little carreid away at times. "I uh I was exploring." she told the adult wild dog with a large smile on her voice.
"I know I am suppose to stay with mommy, but there is so many of us, I have 12 brothers and sisters, and only one mommy and daddy, and I didnt leave the pack." she said as she looked around her making sure hadn't inadvertently left the lands.
She knew that this dog was a member of the pack, his demeanor told her that, and the fact that his sent was familiar in an odd sort of way. She knew she hadn't met him before though, a new friend was so exciting!

"Even if you didn't leave the pack. There might be some bad guys out here who could hurt you when no one is looking. While you are still small its best to play it safe and stay close to home." he said with a grin as he used one of his paws to ruffle the fur on her head a bit. He wouldn't harm his brother's daughter. And would try and protect her if he could. He just knew from experience that there were many shady characters out there, who would think nothing of tearing a pup to shreds.
"Now then. Let's get you home little miss." he said as he stood up and motioned for her to follow him. "By the way, you look like my baby brother. Are you one of Adeto's little ones?" he was pretty sure she was, but he figured it didn't hurt to ask. Just to confirm it for himself.

Kya dropped her head low, "I am sorry" she said softly, she didn't like getting herself into trouble, "I didn't mean to go so far, there is just so much to see... and well I lost track of how far I had gone." She dared to look up into the eyes of the adult hoping he would forgive her.
At the mention of her father Kya perked up further, "Ade is my daddy!! I love my daddy very much. You are his older brother, I have older brothers" she bounced about as she talked her way through all of this. "If you are my daddy's brother then you are my uncle... " she paused for a moment, "Wow.... and uncle, Hi uncle I am Kya."
The young pup had already forgotten the trouble that she might have been in.

He sighed and shook his head as she apologized. "Well you are fine now, just be more careful in the future. There are bad guys out there and wouldn't think anything about harming a little pup. Big cats in particular can be dangerous depending on the cat. Some dont want our kind walking around, so they attack us. And I would hate to see one of my little nieces get harmed." he said with a grin as he ruffled her hair with a paw.
He grinned when she confirmed that Ade was her father. She looked similar to him, so he had been sure she was his brother's offspring. It was just nice to hear it was confirmed. She seemed to get off topic easily. Silly child. He chuckled as he nodded his head. "Yes, I am your uncle. And you have a second uncle. Two uncles to help your father look after you." he said as he smiled at the little pup.

Kya had no idea about the make up of his family. But she was overly excited to hear about them. "Two uncles!" she exclaimed. The little cub was overly excited to hear more and more about her family, family was good. Family is what the pack was made of.
"I have lots of family." the little one told her uncle. "I mean I have twelve brothers and sisters." she nodded as she spoke in her over energized manner. "Plus you just told me daddy had two brothers." she was proud of her memory skills, "and and I have a step sister." lots of family!
"Tell me more about family please." Kya looked up into her uncle's eyes sure that he held vital information.

Agade chuckled at her reaction. "Yes two uncles. Your other uncle looks sort of like a big old tiger." he said with a grin to the little pup. He was interested in meeting more of his little nieces and nephews. After all they were kin, just....little kin who looked very bite sized.
"Well now, that is a big family there. I bet you must have a ton of sibling rivalry eh?" how did his brother keep up with that many little demons running around!? He couldn't imagine having that many voices screaming into his ear for attention. sounded like a big headache...
"Hmm...well there isn't much more to tell. Your grammy and grampie around around anymore. But you got your two uncles. I can't tell you about your mommy's side, I have never met her." he said as he ruffled her fur again. "But I am sure they are a hoot to be around. Maybe, unless they are stuck up. Then its okay to mess with them." he said tot he pup with a wink.
