-They hadn't understood.

No matter how much he LIKED being with others as opposed to being all alone in this god forsaken school.. none of them seemed to grasp the urgency and importance of doing something other than hiding and surviving.

They'd even fooled him for a few days into thinking that maybe.. just MAYBE keeping everyone alive WAS the grand mission. And then some died. And there was no game over. No 'try again dumbass'. It hadn't been the objective, that was just too easy.

Lucas had found keys in the infirmary, mixed among the paperwork and pens and clutter of an average desk. They were in fact average seeming keys too, no special markings.. no hint to what of the hundreds of doors and lockers and desks in the school it might open. And yet Lucas clung to them like lifeblood now, walking down the hallway towards the next doorway before attempting to jam the keys into them.

They had to be to something important.. they just had to be. He wasn't guided to them for no reason... and certainly CERTAINLY there must have been some meaning behind a handful of students being deposited alone in the remains of their school.

The firemen weren't coming... the school had long before lost blaze and become just a smokey smoulder. There had to be something someone could do. Even if it meant trying every damn door by himself until he got the next clue.-

Kimmie was confused. Confused, and scared.

Where was she? Why was she here? She remembered the bang...and the pain. The horrible pain, right before it all disappeared. She thought she'd go to heaven - she wasn't a devout Christian, but she believed in a God, and believed in Heaven and Hell. She hadn't been that bad, in her life. But this definitely wasn't Heaven. This was back where she started, and what she'd done to deserve this the girl didn't know. There was still a throbbing pain in her head, but it was bearable - she hadn't seen herself in a mirror yet. Didn't realize there was a huge gaping hole in her head, blasted open by the gunshot Azzo had delivered before she died. You could see her brain, the edge of her skull. It wasn't a pretty sight.

The diver surged through the corridors, looking for someone, anyone who might know where she was. The back of her mind nagged at her - this was Barren Pines. She knew it really. But it looked slightly more chargrilled, and she clung onot the small, tiny bit of hope that it wasn't. She didn't want it to be. She wanted to be home with her parents, cuddled up on the sofa with her duvet and a nice warm mug of hot chocolate.

But she wasn't.

She stumbled through an open door, choking out a sob before suddenly realizing she wasn't alone. The pale-haired boy before her looked healthy and alive, and Kimmie slowly realized that that dull ache in her stomach was getting larger. It wasn't quite as dull anymore. ...What did that mean!? Was this like that horrible dream? Please, please no... But no, she was in control here. Having been staring for a few moments, the scared girl rushed forwards, making out as if to hug him. She wanted contact - a hug, a pat on the shoulder. Some kind of reassuring gesture to let her know everything would be alright.

-A girl reaching out and trying to cling to you, excellent! One with brains leaking out of her head hole... not quite so excellent. No matter HOW rockin her body might be.

He had been too elated by the door opening to react quickly enough as the ghoulish girl stepped out before him. And her immediate break forward was mistaken for it's usual meaning, she wanted some Luc in her. And NOT in the good way.

He stumbled back, eyes wide, heart a flutter as he tried to avoid her. She was too close for him to swing back his shovel now. Why he hadn't packed something else for close combat too? Because he'd assumed he wouldn't LET them get close. Note to self for the future.

Reacting in the only way he could figure Lucas aimed his hands at her chest attempting to shove her back at the wall or atleast far enough away that he could get to his proper weapon. Hopefully his arms were long enough to keep her teeth away from anything important.. His voice growled out, as if it would help with the push or something.- "You chose the wrong person to mess with you zombie b***h!"

Kimmie noticed his hands come up, but ignored them, instead continuing to plow forwards, grasping his sides and pulling them towards her with surprising strength, crushing him into a tight hug. She felt him shoving, pushing. Maybe he didn't want the hug? Punches...but they didn't hurt. Not as much as they should've. SOmething was very wrong with her, she'd known it from the start. A sob broke through as she buried her head into this stranger's chest, mildly surprised by the strong scent of blood in her nostrils. Whose blood was that?!

...His?

Why did it smell so nice, so appetising? Her mouth opened momentarily, the girl beginning to drool before she caught herself with another sob, a gasping breath breaking free, "Help me!"

-Oh son of a !!!

He felt alot more fear then he imagined he would, as her arms tightened around him, as her head dipped so close to so many important parts. There had always been exhileration and excitement when he played.. but now in real life. It was somehow different. The pressure of her grip, the disgusting smell of internal organs mixed with the charbroiled school, he almost felt like he was getting dizzy from his own blood pressure.

He'd shoved with all his might, but it hadn't been enough. They were freakishly strong.. and that did not bode well for the young gamer. Was she going to dig straight into his chest? His hearts.. or the spagetti goop of his intestines?

He wouldn't die that easily.. he pounded a fist down at her neck and shoulder. And then suddenly he paused at the sound. They could talk.. And this one was asking.. for help? For help not to be a zombie anymore? Or was it a trick..?

His hands planted on both sides of her jaw, both in an attempt to hold her head and teeth back should she try to bite and to set up for his move. He'd seen it a million times.. but did he have the upper body strength to do it himself?

One.. two.. yank!! He attempted to twist her head around with a hard yank of one hand and push of the other. He just had to severe the spinal cord.. right? His tone was strangely one of comfort. There was something different about being so close... especially when they begged for death. Trick or not.- "There is nothing worse then becoming a flesh eating monster.. It'll be over soon."

PostPosted: Thu Dec 03, 2009 8:26 am
Kimmie hugged him tighter and tighter as there was no reply, figuring he must not have heard. Maybe if she squeezed him tighter he'd realize she was talking to him. After all, she could be talking to anyone, right? There were loads of people in the room! ...Right.

She felt warmth at her neck and chin, and tilted her head upwards to look at her. The red-head's blue eyes stared into his own. He looked so honest...was he going to help her? Help her find her way to Heaven, or wherever she was destined to be? She knew it wasn't Barren Pines. She'd died - of that fact, Kimmie was sure. But surely she shouldn't...

A loud cry of pain broke from the girl as agony suddenly shot down her spine. What had he done!? What had she done to deserve this?! It was happening all over again, and she was powerless to stop it as she dropped to the floor, crumbling into a pile as Kimmie passed out, her last thought being that surely it wasn't possible to die twice.

-There was a scream and then suddenly the pressure on his chest and sides subsided her body falling to the ground far more helplessly then he'd imagined a rabid killer zombie might. It filled him with an uneaseiness he hadn't expected as well..

There was nothing worse than a zombie. They were the scum underlings of most games dealing with the supernatural. They were vultures on life and goodness. To be one was to be the worst thing one could be. But to be one.. that knew how terrible you were? The very thought only added fire to Lucas' drive not to become zombie food. What would he do..? If the time came?

Picking up the keys he'd dropped, Lucas pulled close his shovel, fleeing the body he'd somehow managed to take out (in an incredibly badass way that would have deserved a roar of triumph and fist pump if the circumstance were different). If someone else was drawn to the scream he didn't want to be around. And there were ALOT more doors still to check.-

The halls of the school were quite fuzzy around the edges, a few blobs of light included. The infirmary was somewhere in this hall, but where, exactly?

Esen knew the halls by memory, which was quite a good thing considering that the green-haired zombie couldn't see the details she normally could without using her glasses. This was why she sought out the infirmary - maybe it wouldn't be her prescription, but she needed to see. Granted, the majority of the school buildings now seemed like there was some sort of person-only apocalypse (other than an intensely charbroiled mess where the dorm buildings should have been), since there was very little movement going on within the campus-

Huh. Something was moving in front of her, a bit speedily compared to anything else she saw since her comeback. Pale lilac and something big on the end of a stick. Where were they going? Esen seemed oblivious to the fact that they just left the infirmary, where a cry of pain just recently left (she couldn't tell that the infirmary was there, being that signs were almost illegible when blurred like this).

Her clothing was pretty much left intact, save for the fact that her cardigan and shirt were ripped enough to expose a pale mint-green, terribly-ripped-apart-looking abdomen. Her boots still made sounds as she took a fast walk toward Lucas, a distinct meaty smell becoming stronger with every step... it made her stomach flip.

Fallon had been searching for a long time.

Her tired, dead feet had dragged across the hallways and grounds of Barren Pines looking for one face, and only one face: Lucas. Her keen nose in humanity seemed somehow hindered by her new body. All humans smelled delicious, and she found it nearly impossible to distinguish one from the other. This could not go on much longer. Fallon had made the decision that Lucas deserved to die, and in the words of Fern Gully, if she was going to eat somebody, it might as well be him.

Oddly enough, Fallon had come to the infirmary for an entirely different reason. The wound in her stomach was a bit of an eyesore, and dead or not, Fallon cared about her appearance. A nice bandage would make her feel better. Though, of course, seeing Lucas -- it made her feel much better. There were two other zombies standing between herself and her prey, and Fallon wasn't about to lose. If anything, they were a good distraction. Lucas dispatched with the first zombie. It was Kimmie, Fallon noted, but with little care. The other would be her shield until then.

Fallon hung back, just outside of the door. Her outline was faintly visible through the frosted glass, the left side of her visible through the open doorway, but she hoped Esen might block her entrance. Just one moment, it was all she needed. And then she would sink her teeth in to the prey she had been longing for ever since her hunger had been realized.

Lucas...

-He thought he might have gotten away, that he might have been safe... but the the sight of movement touched the corner of his eyes, and Lucas spun taking a step back to catch himself.

In a place this desolute and lifeless.. any movement was something worth looking at, and it was just as bad as he'd thought. Any lingering hint of remorse for his act before was gone, his eyes narrowed on the newest zombie female. Who knew he was such a stud to the undead as well as the living? Everyone wanted his manmeat harharhar.

He didn't hesitate, teeth gritted, he lunged forward with a yell, drawing the shovel all the way back before crashing it forward, not really aiming for anything other than getting this one before it could latch onto him like the last. Maybe he'd even get a combo.- "You bitches are like rabbits. But don't worry, I've got enough here for all of you."

-He was oblivious to the dual threat before him, eyes locked firmly on Esen.-

"I was won-AGH!"

Esen was probably in clearer view to Lucas than Lucas was clear to her; either way, she felt like she was having a really bad headache due to the hit that Lucas just got on her head. His hit sent her into a kneeling position, which would have been a lying position if she had not caught herself with a green-colored hand.
Luckily, her head wasn't broken, despite being sore, and she turned her head to look up at him, her usual look of 'eh' becoming a look of 'very smoldering anger.' Her eyebrows were furrowed, and her yellowy-green eyes, not covered behind glasses for once, would have caught aflame if that metaphor were true.
Slowly yet steadily, Esen stood up to her full height (or lack thereof, she wasn't a supermodel in that aspect at all), dusting off her hands on her plaid uniform pants, speaking all the while in an dark and gravelly tone: "I'm not a b***h, or a rabbit. I think you can see..."

Even though her stomach was roaring, and telling her 'go eat it when you have the chance!' Esen chose a not-so-typical zombie attack: The boots were heavy on her feet, but could very likely deliver a good deal of pain in conjunction with her foot. The kick, hopefully aimed for Lucas' stomach (the world was still blurry for her, after all), lacked any form of finesse; by no means was this former science whiz much of a fighter, but defense was necessary today.

"I'm not a cute rodent that nibbles on veggies..." The other part of this was unspoken, but Lucas would already know it, being that Esen was a new part of the universal zombie world, with a mantra that quite a few zombies try to resist:
'...more like the lion ripping its prey.'

[100/100]

Every inch of Fallon trembled with a need to have Lucas for herself, and not in the way that he had no doubt longed about late at night. This other girl -- Esen, was it? -- she would merely be a distraction to Fallon's end game. When Lucas made to attack Esen, a smile pricked up on the composed girl's face, exposing teeth that seemed so much more sinister than before. She stood opposite her desire, eying it in the face. Fallon imagined all the ways she might destroy Lucas, all the ways her hunger might be satisfied -- even if just for a moment. The third presence in her dual body craved to be fed, and Fallon could not control it any longer. Satisfaction was at her fingertips.

And then -- something unexpected.

Fallon watched helplessly as Esen ended the boy's life. She watched her foot make contact. She knew that he was gone, that everything she had been waiting for had just been wrenched out from under her feet -- her perfectly manicured feet. The tiny bubble of control that Fallon built her life upon popped. In an instant.

"YOU STUPID <********> c**t!" she screamed, spit flying from her lips.

If Esen hadn't noticed Fallon before, she sure as hell had to see her now. In a running leap, Fallon dove at Esen, eyes boiling with rage, stomach flipping angrily, head full of nothing but the desire to kill, to destroy. This was the demon that human Fallon had lived with too, and with her perfectly practiced control, she had been able to balance the monster inside of her. A perfect yin and yang swimming in her veins, balancing each other, controlling each other -- a stark compromise that kept Fallon alive. That control dissipated in a flurry of anger and disappointment, rage boiling up in Fallon so quickly that she could not control it.

The youma in her joined hands with the destructive monster in her, and together, they took over her consciousness. Fallon was no longer Fallon; she was simply a vessel being used to destroy. Her whole life had been constructed based on the simple concept that she could choose not to destroy, that she could control herself. In this moment, in this school, in this body, Fallon could not.

She was going to rip Esen's ******** throat out.

-He was fairly proud of his placement, and the fact it hadn't gotten stuck. The pressure of the backcoil still rang through his arms, but he began to level the shovel again, drawing it back as he prepared to swing at her again. She would be an easy target on the floor.

He was too slow however, and she was up as quickly as she'd been knocked down. And suddenly something was coming. Something incredibly familar and just as freaking frightening. A heavy boot lifted from the ground, and came careening upwards at his lower half. Lucas had taken enough kicks to the groin in his lifetime to know that it did not feel good, and he DID NOT want it occuring now. Her words were lost on him, even the fact that she was a freaking flesh eating monster. It was 'protect my balls!!! D8' mode as Lucas stumbled backwards, shovel clattering to the ground behind him.

But he hadn't gone quite far enough...

Her foot landed with impressive force on his lower abdomen, grazing the precious place he'd been trying so hard to protect before digging into his stomach and chest. And it was all sharp fire in his lower half and he yelped loudly, the sound echoing down the mostly empty hallway.

His hands dropped to cradle his manhood, his stomach burning with a pain unlike anything he'd ever felt. Though he couldn't see it, a rib had punctured something important blood seaping from places it shouldn't be, and as he fell back, another sharp pain assaulted him from behind. Eyes lulling back as he moaned noting the sharp, now crimson, blade of the shovel that emerged from his almost severed shoulder.-

"F... ********." -Was the only word he could manage as the pain swirled through his body, causing his muscles to twitch with the instinct to run even though his body remained clearly planted. He could see the blood covering the floor as if it were a race to get out of him. Could feel the pain in his stomach esculating. And his balls... was he really going to die from a kick to the ******** balls? Especially after the badassery he'd just shown with his neck breaking skills? Men be warned.. apparently kicks to the groan really were deadly s**t.

His body was kicking in, trying to flood him with chemicals that'd dull the pains that lit him afire right now. But it still hurt.. ALOT. More then anything he'd ever felt in his life. Plates to the face... regular kicks to the groin.. sucker punches from sore losers. It hurt more then anything he'd ever even imagined even as it began to dull and his vision began to darken. Not before a slightly familar face roared up from the corner. THAT crazy b***h? Apparently she HAD just been playing hard to get all this time.

He took a brief few seconds to enjoy the fact that two girls were fighting over him. But in the end it was all the same.

He was going to be eaten... He could only prey he was far enough gone that he wouldn't return.. like them. God he hoped there was a respawn.-

"F... ******** you right, you ********,' Esen thought, her hunger beginning to take over. There was one obstacle to her meal, however: The old Esen, the one who actually thought, rather than fought, her way through obstacles, crying out to her new body:

'This is not a verbal argument! You KILLED someone! Despic-'

Good Esen's phone call to the Evil Esen was promptly cut off by a tackle to the body the former once resided in full-time. With Fallon's weight on her shoulders, back, and pelvis, she fell to the ground this time, stomach first.

Despite her head being disoriented from slamming the floor, Esen's whole world stank of dust, rotted Fallon and fresh Lucas (though they were just meats to her, nobody she knew). In the meantime, the girl with matching hair and complexion was barely able to move her neck enough to see her new attacker. Green and a brighter purple were what she saw, and she could see a basic facial layout, though she wouldn't really recognize the face too well even if she had her glasses.

Wait... something was wrong. Two people had gone after her within seconds of each other; usually, she was only noticed for her hair. Esen's rage flooded back into her brain like a waterfall into a lake, and a snarl showed up very quickly.

"WHAT THE HELL!" Esen had her left hand free, using it to feel the floor, then her sides, then up somewhere on Fallon's body to find a good place to pinch her. The perfect spot was found, and a good, strong grasp was given... Esen was unaware of her nails being as sharp as a well-made knife blade, though.

It would have bothered Fallon to know that Lucas believed she was somehow fighting over him in a positive way. If she were in her right mind, she would have been certain to assure him just the opposite moments before his death.

But Fallon was nowhere near sanity at that moment.

Diving for Esen did not have the desired effect, and Fallon's reaching hands missed their mark, ripping off a hunk of flesh that was nowhere near what she wanted. The girl was talking, but Fallon could not hear the words. For once in her life, she took all the passionate fury inside of her and unleashed it in its most destructive form. When controlled, this passion allowed her to create inventive and fresh culinary dishes, to arrange her marbles in an almost beautiful way, to construct puzzles like she were painting the images. It was a pristine creative beauty that others might not see, but Fallon's eyes registered every nuance with increasing pleasure. But after watching the object of all her careful planning swiftly taken from her clutches without warning by another, Fallon could not contain the darkest side of her, the one that warred with her demands for peace and harmony. She was a monster unleashed.

And she did not like other people touching her things.

Even when she fell, Fallon did not stop moving, fists pounding at every inch of bare skin, blatantly ignoring the massive blow that Esen dealt her in return. Fallon could not register the pain, though it was there, oozing from her in wet chunks from where Esen had attacked. She could only think of ripping her limb from limb, of squeezing her throat until her eyes popped out, of bashing her skull in until little bits of bone speckled the infirmary floor. Straddling Esen's prone body, Fallon snarled, hair disheveled, blood dripping from her chin. Knotting her hands in Esen's long mass of hair, the girl yanked hard with one hand, pulling up the other's girl's face so that she could bash her nose in with those manicured nails she loved so much.

Blood spattered her uniform, but Fallon was not in her mind to be disgusted by it. She was being held down on all sides by the compulsions that ruled her and the youma that the Negaverse had unleashed, her hand pushed, her mind wiped clean. Fallon was a puppet to the Negaverse, and to herself.
