Kelakohr was getting damned tired of feeling... Of thinking... Of dreaming... Of hurting... He just wanted it to stop... Wanted it all to stop... A pity no one can make that happen... Part of him taunted... The part that had relished Aveshar's attempts to break him. The part of him that was broken... That was tainted. Just like his damned brother. And you thought you were immune to it.. You thought you were nothing like him... But you are. Just. Like. Him. "NO!" Kelakohr roared aloud, raging at that taunting little voice.. A little too like Aveshar, in his mind... His broken... shattered... twisted mind.. full of destroyed dreams and unwelcome memories... Too bad, soooo sad.... It was gleeful. 'Silence.' Kel raged coldly. Arguing with yourself? That's a bad sign... Again he snarled. Could no one make this go away? He'd give anything for it to just go away...

The long tentacles of nightfall had already engulfed the remnants of light, giving away to darkness that, although soothing to some, could not help but make others jittery, nervous, afraid of what it might bring. That kind of darkness you didn't quite know wether to apreciate the wonder or hide from. Where strange things happen. Coincidences... that are not so coincidental at all.
She had watched, no, sensed it. The distress. The despair. The edge of the glass about to crack. It was hers for the taking, either for saving or breaking. A smile perked on her lips. She would take this one under her wing. She would bless him. Most definitely.
So slowly, the dark figure floated down from the sky, a trail of light left behind, like a beacon, by the odd orbs and tail she possessed. Calling. Taunting. Soon, she was right above the purple male, silent. Smilling. Until. "Lost?"

Kelakohr paid little heed to the falling dark, finding he rarely cared what hour or time of day it was anymore... Dark or light, it was more or less the same anymore. The scent and feel of another came to him, though he did not know where the other was until she spoke. Glancing upward, the Fayth's Mystery paused, blinking in surprise. Well, that certainly was something one didn't see everyday... A lioness standing in air... Walking down from the very sky, it seemed... Even the son of a Song and a Dream had to raise his brows at that. "Lost?" He echoed, frowning at the question. Most would reject it outright, but then, Kel wasn't most. "No..." He said at last. He knew where he was, and for the moment, who he was... So we wasn't exactly lost. Just, searching...

"Oh, but you are... You most definitely are... when someone starts arguing with themselves, they are looking for something they can't find... and thus, they are lost..." The strange lioness stopped in mid air, floating in the still of the night, her braids seeming to teem with a life of their own, snaking around the dark body. Mmmh, such a wonderful stud... and so filled with hopelessness too... Manticore could almost taste it...
"So, the question is... can you find what you're looking for?"

He frowned as she corrected him, argued with him, told him he was wrong. He was lost. Was he lost? He was looking for something.. Something he couldn't find? No... He just wanted the madness to go away.. Wanted the darkness to go away. Wanted to be the way he was before Aveshar and his damn taint, his damned female of fire and sin, his damned Pride and land of darkness. "What am I looking for, then, Lady in the Air?" He countered with a low rumble, glowing eyes narrowing at her. "Since you seem to know so much of me, tell me what it is I seek.. And you tell me if I can find it." He still maintained there was nothing he sought, or at least, nothing to be found. Not that he wanted anything but to return to when he was sane, when he was whole.... That's never going to happen again... You're tainted, just like him. You were just ignorant... You can't unlearn this now. Damn it, stop!

"Mmmh, should I?" She asked herself out loud, letting the silence afterwards drag out as she studied him further. It was gonna be a shame... for whoever was waiting for him. Not for her. Oh no...
Her wing moved forward, bending, putting a thin transparent red veil between them. It began glowing softly, as her eyes did. Images began moving in between the black spines, moments Kelakohr would find painfully familiar. Of his family. Of Sophia. Of Aveshar and Diera. Of Tierany. Of himself. "You want it all to go back the way it was before... to not hurt... to forget. Simple." The wing folded back to it's original place, Manticore's head tilting slightly to the side. "Am I wrong?"

Should she? Was this all a game? Damn he was tired of that.. Of Aveshar and his game.. Of the knowledge that a new player had stepped in and declared the world his board... And there was a female who stated the same.. Black and white.. Female and male... Good? and defiantely evil.. Games, tricks, trials, tests.. Everywhere. He was damn sick of it. The sheen of red made him take half a step back, made him pin his ears. He watched those familiar faces, those flashes of failures he carried with him and longed to shed. At least his cubs were grown and could live their lives.. Well, Tierany's understanding had helped, but now? Now there were kits there too... "Yes..." He agreed without even realizing it. "I would like all of it to go away.. To forget... To lose the taint and the sorrow..." He frowned, considering her. "You are right.. But how?"

"Many years of watching, studying the nature of others. And your dreams, they give away many, many things... Most don't even realize it." Manticore stretched her body languidly, lying in the air as if something cushioned her stay. "Now, if you can find a solution to your problem... yes. Yes indeed..." She rolled to her back, watching him upside down. "So, tell me... what would you do to make it go away? They are a delicate thing, the heart, the memories... you can't make a wish without paying a price..."

He frowned. Dreams? But he was half dream, it was almost a state of being for him.. Did that mean she knew everything? Well, there was an unsettling thought. It made him pin his ears as he wondered, frowning more severely. He knew how much a dream could do, his mother was one. A solution to his problems? That phrase alone had his ears perked toward her, as though he wasn't sure he'd heard right.. It was too good to be true, after all. What would he do? Suddenly that sounded far too like his brother for his comfort. "What do you want?" He countered. Because surely she wanted something.. On didn't simply skip around granting wishes without wanting something...
