"What a promising landscape..." Latonia murmured to herself as she paced the borders of prides until she reached the 'Free Lands'.
The gowned and masked lioness continued in her wandering -less aimlessly now- angling her path to a large boulder with a flat top. With a glance around and a shrug to herself, she leapt up, situating herself atop it with a stretch.
With a smirk behind her mask, she surveyed her new view of the landscape, blue eyes narrowing thoughtfully behind the mask. What a promising landscape indeed... So many varying personalities and settings...
Latonia had a penchant for games... At least, certain kinds. And the games she could play here were nigh unlimited...
The Proud Dreamer cast another glance around the area, ears twitching and flakes catching the vibrations of herds of prey. Did she want to hunt now? No, she was still full from her last kill... Well, that meant there was only one thing to be done, plot...
Latonia grinned behind her mask. Oh, darn... One of her favorite hobbies? It couldn't be helped...

This was such a waste of time. Xithis looked through the blades of grass at the side of a very big, flat rock. Deciding that the rock would be a better place to rest, she rose out of the grass.
Of course, the rock was already occupied. Whoever was there hadn't seemed to notice her yet. Xithis caught sight of a mask and a dress and was intrigued. She approached silently, from upwind so that the lioness wouldn't be able to smell her either. "Well, that's a nice dress." Xithis murmured when she got a few feet from her possible prey.

Latonia arched a cynical brow behind her mask, forgetting for a moment it couldn't be seen. Turning her head to view the new arrival, she gave a faint smile. When she spoke, her voice held an edge of laughter. "Don't pander too hard to my ego, I don't need too much of a boost..."
She sat up slightly, moving over faintly to occupy one corner of the rock should the stranger wish to join her. After all, it was rather odd to speak down to someone.
"I'm Latonia, by the way... Nice to meet you, Stranger... Feel free to join me, hope I'm not taking your place..." She glanced around. "Figured it was pretty safe, this being unclaimed territory..."
