Three months, thirteen days, and twelve hours...Erasmus kept counting the days until he would see atleast a part of his family. He had attempted so many times to escape from the humans who had adopted him, they took care of him, but that wasn't his problem with him. He wanted to be with his family, his sister and his brothers no matter how disgusting they could be, most of all he wanted to feel the warmth of both of his mother's love.
He trudged on, just at a glance you could not tell that this cat was pure white or that his fur could be soft an fluffy. He was dehydrated and his coat was matted down with dirt and even a small trace of blood. He hoped he would come acrossed someone who cared soon, he wasn't sure how much longer he could hold on.. He wasn't used to being out on his own, one way or another he had someone to watch over him and now he was alone, not how he wished to be.

Beni had been one of the first to be found. And had been with her family for a while and she was out exploring near the human area, somewhere she hadn't been in a long time. She just had had a feeling...that she should be here today. She looked around at all the buildings and frowned seeing the humans move about. She hissed at them and ran tot he woods around the back of the houses and looked around. She felt like something they were missing was here. She looked around and saw a matted dirty looking thing moving around...She grimaced and looked at it and saw it was a cat. She wanted to run away from the dirty thing but she felt that she needed to go help it so she ran over and, from a distance called out to it. "Are you ok? Do you need help getting somepla-"She paused and her eyes widened and got closer. "Erasmus!! Is that you! Oh my gosh your the last one mommy and mama were trying to find! And i find you! Are you ok? Come lets go clean you up and get you some food! I'll give you a hug after we clean you." she said as she lead him through the woods to the river.

Erasmus' golden eyes grew as wide as his energy level would permit. His sister, of all the cats he could run into first. His heart raced as he wished he could run and be close to his sister, he stooped closer to the ground for a moment and panted. "Sis" He managed to get out, a smile stretched across his exhausted face as he brought it back to eye level. "Slow okay? I've been walking for two weeks...With the bare minimum of food...and water. Food and water sound won...derful." His breath was labored and his words broken. He wasn't in a good state now.
He lowered himself to the ground and relaxed for a moment. He was with family now, maybe not all of them, but it was better than being alone, with the humans or being chased by dogs. He looked up at Beni and smiled again. "Gimme a minute Sis."

Beni smiled and sat infront of him. "You rest here and get some sleep or something. I'll catch you something to eat then we can go get some water." she said with a smile as she petted him on the head and turned running through the trees to find some food. She caught the scent of a rabbit and ran after it. She leaped, and caught it. She took a moment to revel in the blood of the animal as she killed it, it tasted sweet and she smiled and picked up the small rabbit and carried it back to her brother. "Here brother eat up and get some strength back so we can clean you up." She said as she began cleaning the blood off her self.

Erasmus laid there, content with being found by someone whom he cared dearly about. He closed his eyes and fell asleep for the time it took his sister to catch the rabbit. When she got closer he could smell the blood and his eyes fluttered open, his mouth watered and he slowly sat up.
He slowly lowered his head back down, to take his first bite of food in almost a week. He tugged at one of the puncture wounds his sister made and tore a small piece, he would have to take it slow, he needed as much of his energy as he could manage to save, he still needed to meet up with the rest of his family. He smiled and watched Beni clean herself as he chewed his small bite and laughed to himself a little as he remembered the day they were taken away from each other. Those kids... that disgusting human food and their brothers. It was all well with the exception of that one thing. He wouldn't be bothered so much anymore by what his brothers ate, it didn't matter at this point, he just wanted to see them again.
"Thank you Beni.. I don't know how much longer I would have made it. Are Mommy and Mama close by? What about Fox? And Van? Oh and Izzy.. She is still around right?" He said in between bites, it was difficult to tell he was a white cat, even the blood from the rabbit just blended in with the muck that clung to his precious fur. He was willing to sacrifice it for now, as long as he was home he wouldn't care.

Beni smiled and nodded at him. "Your welcome Eras. We have missed you so much. The others are safe, weve been looking for you for a long time. It was hard to find you. You must have been further away then the rest of us." she said as she cleaned her foot with a smile. "Mommy and mama are close, they had taken a break for the day but i had something telling me to come out here to see the forest and the people house here. So its actually a weird chance of fate that i found you. Its amazing really." she said as she cleaned her chest. "Mama Satine will have to cut some of your hair i think...none of that looks save able." She said as she looked over him and frowned. "You smell bad. What have you rolled in? We need to wash you as soon as you can move again." she said as she looked at him and frowned feeling bad for her poor pretty brother and wanting to make him pretty again.

Erasmus continued to pull small bites from the rabbit. He closed his eyes for a moment and savored the wonderful, non human food flavor. He looked back to Beni and smiled. "I am glad everyone is safe. I was with some wealthy humans...They gave me everything, took care of me, but that was not the life I wanted, I wanted to be with my family. I tried to escape for months now, but finally got away. I didn't realize how tough it would be to get back..." He took another bite and winced when she said that they would have to cut his fur. "It's..just fur, it'll grow back..." He said sadly, he had had quite the adventure, his sister was in for a story.
"Well... I've been through so much, cars splashing the muck from the road onto me, being chased by dogs... Having to dig in that god awful human waste to try and find something I could bear to eat so I could make it back.... " He laughed a little at the thought of his brothers eating that hot dog.

Beni frowned and looked at her brother as she listened to his story. She felt bad for her poor brother. He had the second prettiest hair when they were little, she always felt hers was the best, so to see his have to get cut was going to be very sad. "I'm sorry brother. I will give you lots of cuddles when we bathe you. Its hard to be even this close to you. As much as i love you i don't think i can come closer inless your going to die." She said with a soft smile as she looked at him. She felt bad for not being able to comfort her little brother but she couldn't bring herself to do it yet. He was just so gross right now. She thought back to what she must have looked like, caked in blood and dirt like he was. She wasn't letting herself get matted then though, she wouldn't let herself have to get a hair cut. She wouldn't ever cut it, it was too beautiful to be cut.

Erasmus lowered his head for a moment and sighed before looking back to Beni. "I'll be fine, thanks to you. And I wouldn't cuddle me either, I feel so gross right now Sis..." He looked down at the rabbit, it was all pretty much gone and his stomach was bloated, he smiled and slowly moved his front paws to push himself up. He was still a little wobbly but much more stable now. He slowly pushed his whole body up and stood as still as he could for a moment, his body still swayed lightly, but he could hold himself up.
"As for the cutting...Eh..I should have been more careful with my coat..But I wanted to get back. It'll grow back, give it some time. It'll be just as beautiful as yours again." He smiled and took a couple steps to test his wobbly legs and smiled. "Lets get this gunk off, I think I can make it back to Mama and Mommy, I can't wait to see everyone again."

Beni smiled as he finished and stood. "I'm glad to see it helped a little." she said with a smile as she stood and turned. "The river is this way. Come on i'll try to help you with your fur once we get you wet and washed off." she said. She grabbed some lavender what was growing on her way, she would get it wet and rub it in Era's hair to make him smell a little better. She lead him around the leaves and bushes, and under a fallen log to where the river was. She stopped and sat, setting the lavender down. "The water is nice and slow here, i clean up here all the time. So get in and get wet then i'll rub the lavender in your fur to help with the smell ok brother?" she asked with a smile as she curled her tail around her feet and tried not to think about the mud in her toes.

Erasmus followed his sister to the river, he would try to get as much of the gunk out of his fur as he could. The lesser the better when it came to cutting his fur. He was worried it might look a little funny and his brothers might poke fun, but it was worth it to be back with them again. He stopped as they reached the river and closed his eyes for a moment, the water would be cold, it always was. He took a deep breath and nodded.
"Thank you Sis. I am so happy you found me." He closed his eyes as he pushed into the water, his body convulsing as the cold water surrounded him. The water almost instantly turned black as it brushed passed him. He could feel the weight being lifted from his fur. Most of the mattes were broken up by the steady stream, only a few remained, he hoped they would be able to be scrubbed out. He dipped his head under the water for a moment and let the water was away his worries..and of course the mud. He brought his head above the water and smiled. "As cold as this is, it feels amazing." He laughed as the water started to wash away blue again.

Beni watched her brother clean off in the water and smiled s most of it came out and he looked white again. She smiled and swished her tail happily as she waited for him to come back out clean. "Ohh Erasmus your starting to look pretty again! I cant wait to give you a hug!" she said with a smile as she watched him. "I'll help mama brush you out and make you even prettier. It will be nice to have you back fully now!" She said. she was so excited to see her brother and was even more excited to get him home. She watched the dirt wash away in the water and smiled happy to see that he was getting clean.

Erasmus laughed as he listened to his sister. How happy he was to just be around his family and the thought of seeing his moms again just made him ecstatic.
"Where's that lavender Sis, I may look white again but I still stink... I think that lavender will do the trick. " He smelt himself and curled his lips. The gunk was gone, the smell however was not. He pulled himself closer to the side of the river and tugged at some of the remaining mattes in his fur, hoping to get them out. He sighed, the green ribbon like collar getting in his way. He looked to his sister and then back to what he could see of the collar.

Beni smiled and handed him the lavender that was net to her, almsot forgetting that she had grabbed it to help him smell better. "Here you go, almost forgot it was there." she said with a smile. She watched him and almost reached out to help, but she was still iffy about helping him till he smelled better. She hoped the lavender helped alot. She looked around for anything else she could give him for the smell but didn't see anything that she thought would help him. She watched him to see how well he did at getting it into his fur. "Are you excited to go home? I know mommy and mama have missed you alot."

Erasmus smiled and took the lavender. Oh how happy he was to be back to his clean, white self again. He put the lavender up to his nose and took a deep breathe. This should make him smell so much better. He rubbed the lavender over his fur the best he could and struggled to get it up toward his shoulders and his back. He rubbed it over the rest of his body and then looked to his sister and gave an almost pathetic pout.
"Sisssss...Get my back please..? I can't reach it, and I don't want to roll my coat in the dirt, I just got it clean?" He pouted and looked to his sister with the lavender in paw. With only a few mattes left in his fur and the stench nearly extinct, he was more than ready to get back to his family.
"And I am sooo much more than ready to see them again Sis... Even if Fox and Van decide they want to get me dirty again, I could Allllmost...." he thought about it for a moment and cringed... "not care.." He pondered the thought and hoped in the back of his mind that they would not wish such things on him.
