As for the Advent Calenders... I have no idea what that be. -has never done anything with it before- An advent calendar is (usually) a little box with the dates leading up to Christmas on doors or tabs that you open up. They contain different things, based on what kind they are... usually a small ornament or chocolate. I believe this thread is going to go along that same pattern, but be just random videos.

O: We even have one of the kids put on a santa hat and hand out the presents at Christmas time. Up until recently (meaning a few years ago), it was always me, then my younger cousins wanted to do it, so I let them instead. =P

In recent years (when I wasn't sick or dealing with girly issues...yeah eww I know) I would hand out the gifts. It's fun, but your gifts end up piling up.

Though, we never had a lot of presents, just a lot of people to get for, which made it seem like a lot of presents. lol Maybe like 4 or 5 presents each, not including stocking stuff. If they were more expensive presents then said person would get fewer presents, due to the price of that one. To make it fair.

Last year, we drew names, and only bought that gift. Except for me and my younger cousin. People got us gifts, too, even if they didn't pull our name. That one didn't work out too well. Some people bought really good gifts, but ended up getting not so great ones. We're definately not drawing names this year. xp

Not to mention, my grandma buys for my other uncle who lives in Florida, and she buys for his boyfriend as well (he's gay). And, we each have gifts we open at our own houses. Me, my brother and sister usually get ours the night before Christmas though, because my brother talks mom into letting us open them. xD

This is my mom's side. Haven't heard from my biological father since I was about 2.
