Today my photography teacher brought in a 5x4 Graflex sports camera. It's about 60 years old and has that old timey look (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Graflex_Crown.jpg). The lens slides out like a drawer and you can shut it like a box (think of the modding possibilites) and carry it with a handle. And you can prop the lens on the track and bend the accordian different ways so you can turn it.
And the coolest of all, it's completely 100% mechanical. When you adjust the shutters, you can here it turning inside. My teacher let every one take turns adjusting and taking pictures with it. She even had the black cloth for us to stand under, what a great experience.
