I'm not posting this because I don't like mine. I do! I love them to death! I did hear though, that my freshman year (2 years ago) that the guard instructor then was pure evil! They said that one of the girls had dropped a riffle on her bare foot and it started bleeding really bad. It was getting blood all over the floor. The istructor told her that she couldn't sit out of practice even though her foot was pouring out rivers of blood! Her parents complained and the instructor responded with: "Well, she wasn't crying. How was I supposed to know that it hurt?" I wasn't happy with that. scream stressed mad

no! i hate the intructor for this year! scream he switches things around to much! and then he waited untill the last minute to teach us the hardest ruotine! and it was four pages long with god knows how many counts! scream ok he waited the last day he was there to show it to us. we get a new instructor every year and this one was the worse! evil

Mine is usually pretty fun but sometimes she just gets evil, not to mention she picked toxic for our song... *shudders*... so I'm kind of undecided...

With our instructors it all depends on your danceing skills. And they want Color Guard to be your LIFE. And depends on how their day goes. They can be pure evil or peppy and happy to where it's REALLY scary. So it's kinda weird on this side.

My guard instructors are stupid. Once I hit myself in the face with a rifle, and my lip was busted open, and I had to keep going at practice dripping blood. then i had to go to class with blood all over my shirt. Mine were idiots!!! they made people do stuff like that all the time. scream scream

our gaurd director....is a b***h....
the only thing she knows is being a pom-pom {you know majorettes....drill team}
so the guy that does our choreography leaves about two months before contest.....
so she and the drill team teacher are in charge of choreography from now on...
one day we waltz into rehersal....the agenda :choreography for the last song...what flag are we going to use ...none.....cause were going to prance around the feild next to the drill team doing exactly what they do and look like retards while were doing it......

rules that she came up with for games......
1)she doesnt want to see panty lines ...so either we wear thongs or no underwear at all
2)we have to wear tights to every game
3)cheer for the team....{especially when we're losing 28-66)
4)be in full make up...(her defenition of full make up--red really redlipstick....enough blush that a guy in the press box can tell where your cheek bones are...and eyeline and stuff like that)
5) no turning around/talking to the band (two weeks later we get a long lecture about how were part of the band and we should treat each other like family)
6) look pretty....(i dont do pretty)

i got along with our gaurd director really well at first, but now that itz toward the end of the school year, she has to pick who's gonna be captain, well my friend shawntele is suppos to be captain next year, and julie(captain) doesn't want her to be for some reason. i think she's being a royal b***h for no reason, either that or she's been on the rag for a month and a half.... rofl
