WHOFEST 2009: THE CHRISTMAS INVASION
It's that time of year again for the Doctor Who guilds to unite and celebrate Whofest. Whofest, for those of you who are new, started in 2008 as a collaboration between three Doctor Who guilds to celebrate our beloved Doctor.
Whofest consists of several activities split amongst the guilds and we invite everyone who is a fan on Gaia to join us on December 28th in friendship and fellowship. Some of the preliminary events that we have planned again for this year are:
TekTek Contest-Cosplay an Avatar as your favorite Doctor, Companion, or Villian.
House Contest-Build and display your best Who-inspired house in Towns.
Empty Child March- Pursue the Ninth Doctor and his companions in Towns as a gas mask Zombie.
Scene Renactments- Watch your favorite scene renacted Gaia Style.
Meet the Doctors- Meet your favorite Doctors in towns.
Art Contest- Are you a budding Artist? Display your Who related work and win a prize!
Fan Fiction Contest- Are you an Author? Share you Who-related stories with us and win a prize.
Whofest will promptly begin in towns at 3pm eastern and last the remainder of the day on Saturday, December 28th. Join us for fellowship and fun!
WHAT WE NEED:
Donated Homes: Donate your home in towns for us to use.
Prize Donations: 100g or something to give our prize winners.
YOU!!! We need you to join us in fellowship or fun.
