Here is a thread for any role play which is NOT happening at the Inn or in the Plains of Torments.
You can create your own location.

I have noticed that a lot of people (myself included) are bringing the story of the Inn of Peace outside of the boundaries of the Inn.

This is amazing, because it means that the story is developing.

However I agree with some of the players, that it gets a little confusing.

I hope this will enable everyone to enjoy themselves even more. smile

*One rule:*

In order to make things clear for everyone, please add the location of your role play at the top of your post in bold.

Examples:

Quote:
At the Lake

MacPere and Gren were walking side by side, a smile on their lips...

Quote:
At the Valentines Manor

Angeles was stabbing Jonathan in the heart...

Quote:
At Zefi's castle

The birthday party was rejoicing everyone...

At Kageko's home
Kageko sighed, her brand was much better now and had stopped reacting. She hadn't wanted to leave Angeles alone but it couldn't be helped, she was getting angry and the brand had started reacting to that anger. Se didn't know for how much longer she could have restrained herself. She got out of bed and rubbed her right arm, the arm where the brand was. Yin came up and told her what Angeles had done. "Thanks," Kageko said to her, "for not attacking Angeles." Yin looked up at Kageko, as if to say, "I'm sorry, I was too scared to." Kageko shushed her with a look that said, "A lot of people will be scared of an infuriated vampire, especially if it was Angeles."
Kageko stood up, she would need to clean up it seemed. Angeles had made a huge mess in a number of the rooms and their was blood from the severed head and Zulma all over the house. Kageko grimaced, she did not want to see the blood. Yin knew that and she comforted Kageko, "Don't worry, Yang and I have cleaned it up. Kageko nodded, then tried to lighten the atmosphere,"I'm surprised you didn't bite Angeles when she called me your 'mistress'," it was a total failure. Yin simply shrugged as if to say, "I could've cared less about that."
Kageko shook her head, and started walking through the house and looking into each room. After a while, she found the string of rooms that Angeles had ransacked. Kageko walked into them and started cleaning up. Picking up the papers and little trinkets that were scattered all over. Luckily, Angeles had only searched through the study area, if she had gone to where the bigger items were kept, she might've been in danger.
As she tidied up Kageko mused over Angeles's message, "First I lose her trust and mortally injure her, then I keep from her something that is precious to her. 'To not speak to me again for a long while until my heart is once more mended. If she attempts, if she says one word to me, I will kill her.' Yeah, I think I can see why." Kageko turned her thoughts over to the head of Johnathan, "A 'payment'? For what? Doesn't she need the head for her bounty?" She sighed, "I guess I should keep it. Angeles must have tossed it at Yin to spite me. I don't need a payment, especially since all I did was cause her pain. Maybe that's what the payment is for then, for me causing her pain?" Kageko sighed and stood up.
She headed over to the scroll room. Glad to see that it was the same as usual, messy but safe. She knelt to pick up the locket that Angeles had dropped and stared at it. She clamped her hands over it and took a deep breath. She probably wouldn't see the others for a while, not only Angeles but everyone else. She strode to her room as she stared at the locket. Thinking of a way to give it to the one who wanted it so much.

Ale Posselna

At the land beyond the sea

The dragon smiled. Of course he had heard the question before. So, he told the warrior the same thing he had told Ale years ago.
Dragons were some of the most ancient creatures of Nature, they had had their share in the creation of the physical world. They had been around when Mankind was created.
Dragons in general had a liking for these tiny and unsatisfied creatures. Creatures who revered the dragons for their ability to control the Elements, and believed them to be the representatives of the primal forces of Nature. Creatures eager to learn the secret of their wisdom and longevity, and asked for their blessing in their prayers. Creatures who tried to magically emulate their abilty to shapeshift, and erroniously attributed magical properties to their mortal remains. A lot of dragons had been hunted due to that superstition, and that's how the relation between the two species changed.
However, the dragons didn't retaliate. Most of them, at least. They had the power to erradicate the creatures, but decided otherwise and retired to a safe haven, along with the other mythical creatures, and let the humans on their adaptation to their habitat. Something they had yet to achieve.
This land where they were now, was home for the last dragons who had chosen to remain on this material plain. All the others had already moved on, to where no human creature could reach them.
They ventured in the outside world from time to time, the other mythical creatures as well. It was on one of these errands that they had found the glowing girl, and decided to keep her.
Why the humans called them dragons... well, Hikari never knew why. And it never bothered him, for that matter. Possibly because humans were like that, a thing only became real to them if it had a name. Curious creatures, indeed.

He watched Ale climbing down the red tree. She was walking to them, carrying a bunch of star-shaped fruits in her arms.

At Kageko's home

Kageko stared at the locket, which was now glimmering on her desk. Both Yin and Yang were out somewhere again. She sighed while thinking, "What will be the right price for this locket? How do I decide the right price." She tried to remember everything that her mentor had told her about balancing deals, "Nothing. Nothing at all. She's told me about it's importance but didn't utter a word about the process. Ugh." She groaned and pushed away from the desk. "What is it? What will the price be? Or something close to it?" she mused to herself. She knew that the wrong price probably wouldn't affect Angeles but she wasn't sure, especially if the price was really wrong.
"Aaargh!" she thought to herself, "this is too complicated!" she stood up and changed into more durable clothes, "I'll go to the Plains to train and clear my head!"

Somewhere near the forest

Zrenni and Zefi sat down to eat and set up a meal of cold cold cheese and fluffy bread. They couldn't wait for Kageko. Zefi didn't think she could go to her house again. Those outer world experiences really took a lot of you. Tonight they would stay here and plan and Zrenni made Zefi promise to show her EVERYTHING she knew how to do so far. Zefi promised and began to tell her. She didn't have enough energy to show her. "Well I can levitate which I can use to fly and I have energy like fire but also I use it for enchanting and I can enchant stuff like my drawings to reflect whats happening and enchant inanimate objects like carvings and make them real and I can..." She had a huge list but her sister stopped her quickly. "Never mind tell me in the morning. Just eat." And they munched on it glad to not talk. Zefi wondered how tall she was know as a last though before she drifted off to sleep again.

On top the Barton Cliffs

Cerberus appeared from the SIN portal, the scent of the sea heavy in the air. Growling, Cerberus walked toward the edge as his demons spoke.

"Yes, the final twilight is indeed here!" The demon laughed as it faded, Cerberus's eyes a pure crimson now as he declared, "This world is at it's last breath! Now, rise, Temple of Eden Forsaken!"

Captain Valen was no longer. All that remained at the moment was the demon Cerberus. All of the sudden a deep, violent rumbling shook the earth as the sea below began to bubble. Slowly but surely a structure of stone and steel rose from the deep blue, seven stone towers surrounding the temple. From the cliff themselves, a stone pathway tore out and shot out, connecting itself with the impossible building.

Making his way across the sea, toward Eden Forsaken, Cerberus chuckled and said,"This world is too corrupt. My, how times have changed if I myself am forced to do this. Valen, you should be grateful..."

Pushing the iron doors open, Cerberus walked down a corridor until he came to stairs, making his ascent toward his goal. The ancient demon knew this place like no other even though it had been over a millennium since he had inhabited Eden Forsaken. No doubt someone would come to investigate the cause of the disturbance, but it was of little concern. After all, any and all who have stood against Cerberus before in the past no longer drew breath. Finally, he came upon a gate which opened at his presence, revealing the main alter room, row upon row of pews lining the way to the alter. As soon as the demon walked past a row, numerous fallen warriors of the SIN/BOO war appeared, deep in prayer, their intentions unknown to anything except for Cerberus.

He spun around when he reached the alter, arms outstretched as he stated, "Pray, Fallen Soldiers, for the twilight. Let this world know of your rage and despair upon your death! Let it know your outrage, your sorrow, and your longing! Summon your power and feed it to the Portal and unlease all the demons that will bring you peace eternal"

The dead souls, of course, said nothing, merely staying as they were, either unaware of Cerberus' obvious lie or simply did not care about the world of the living. Something began to manifest at the alter: a white mist. Something was starting to manifest in the world of Gaia.

Cerberus' gaze lit up with joy at the appearance, he threw his head back as he laughed wildly.

An epilogue was fast approaching, one the demon had thought up many years ago.

At the land beyond the sea

"Interesting...

Blessing you say??"

-Aris pondered for a moment-

"Another question if I might add....What do you yourself stand for? What are your beliefs. How do you percieve the world?"

The Forest of Balance
Fenyx stood in the forest, a natural barrier between the Inn and the Plains, the barrier between law and chaos. For Jack to be able to penetrate here would mean the end of peace. Fenyx looked around, and continued walking.

around the forest

Zefi and Zrenni walked tired and cold. Their grumbles were muted however as they reached a small clearing. They sat down and prepared their food glad to have something to do. Zefi looked like a worn down doll. Her hair was so much longer and she was so much taller. She looked to be about 10 years or older than she was... Zefi twirled a little bit of her hair and thought of going back to the Inn and waiting. There was no sense in exploring randomly. They could take one more day and travel back to the Inn and wait for Kageko. She voiced her opinion to her sister and her reply was a nod. They both understood that they weren't going to get very far alone right now in the cold. They finished the food and began to walk back down following the path of little burnt leave piles on the ground.

Deep deep down into hidden parts of the Deep forest, Underground

Mixi looked about and was glad for her lamps. Her nice magical fire lamps that could go out and on at will. She studied her clues for the where-abouts of Zefi. Half scrawled tossed notes all reading to Kageko about needing to go to her house. A few napkins of crumbs indicating they were hurried and rushed meaning hey would probably come back soon. There was something in the pillow case that was -she assumed- some kind of bracelet. She continued searching hoping for something that would prove their where-abouts

Somewhere beyond the map...

He had been traveling for many days. He had left the inn trying to find answers. Was he still the hero he once was? Was he worthy of the mantle that had chosen him? Only time would tell. One thing was certain, however. He had been gone long enough. He had responsibilities to his family at the inn. No telling what kind of trouble Shade and his pet cerberus had gotten themselves into in his absence and he had much catching up to do with Kage, Aris, and Ali. He started back towards the inn. It was time to go home.

Closer to home...

He was excited to be heading home. As he walked, his thoughts turned to his family at the inn. He thought of Shade and Kiba, a mischievous duo if he ever saw one. Ale and Aris, good and true friends. Gren and MacPere, who always gave the inn life. zulma, who managed to keep them all together. So many friends. So many stories. A place he was proud to call home. He broke out into a run, anxious to get back there and see them all again.

Right outside of the Inn

Zulma waited for Shadow to come. The night was cold and she wrapped tightly her coat around her.

"So Shadow tell me. How have you been? It had been a while since you last came to the Inn." she spoke gently.
