Stats aren't done with percentages, but off of points. These are your base abilities for a Nequus. By 'base' abilities, I mean to say that these points represent the card core foundation of your Nequus' capabilities. RPers take note of this - Nequus with equal skill levels are not equally matched, as their base skills are not necessarily the same. Having a high Skill Level comes down to experience and skill levels will change while base stats will not. (There is only one exception to this rule, and that comes from special contests that I will sometimes hold.)
All Fruit Nequus start with no stats at all. Foals from at least 1. Adults from at least 5. There are several different parts to the stats and you can get status points several ways.
What Stats and Skill points Do
Skills can do a number of things. They mark Roleplaying Activity, the more you Roleplay and keep your journal updated, the more skill levels you get.
When it comes to roleplaying, stats offer a basis for determining fight scenes and are a heavy determinant in how good your Nequus in a particular field. For a lot of RPers, this can change personality greatly, so it is always best to roll stats before you get too heavily involved in a character's personality.
Having skill points and stats allow you to be engaged in fun events with other Nequus that you would not otherwise be allowed to participate in if you lacked them.
It is also an opportunity to recieve custom lineart and a uniqueness about your Nequus that no one else has.
What's this About Custom Lineart?
Once your Nequus gets to a skill level of 100 points, they are elligable for a rolling. Rolling will occur whenever journals are updated. Every Nequus who is at a skill level of 100 is elligable for this rolling. If you happen to have the required 100, but you do not want to be in the rolling for whatever reason, simply PM the mule and we will not roll you that time.
Once your Nequus has been rolled they may not be rolled ever again, win or lose, in the hundred category. They can be rerolled every hundred up until their skill level reaches 500 at which point they can no longer be rolled. However, because 500 is such a high number, and takes so long to get, any Nequus that reaches a skill level of 500 will be moved to unique lines. (Keep in mind they will not have special status in this case.)
In special status rolling, the magic number is 2. If the owner of the Nequus rolling does not have any special status Nequus, their first roll at a skill level of 100 is made between 1 and 4. The number increases by one for every failed attempt up to a skill level of 500. The ending roll will be 1 to 8 at skill level 500.
If the roller of a Nequus already has a special status Nequus, the number rolled to is double for each Nequus they own. If we say that Fred already owns one special status Nequus, his first roll for a different Nequus will be 1 to 8. If that roll fails, the next will be 1 to 10. The final roll at a skill level of 500 will be 1 to 16.
If you win a 'roll'' your Nequus is placed with others to be in the elligable category for a special status in the Nequus world. These are the ones with magic, or special properties that split them apart. These special categories can be found in the Main Nequus thread on the Main page in the Roleplay section. Once your Nequus is ellegable for this special status their will be several 'quests' you must complete in order for fully convert your Nequus. To determine what special status your Nequus will take, there will be a roll in the thread deciding their area of expertise. You may not change what special status they have, nor may you give this to someone else's Nequus. If you do not wish your Nequus to have a special status, simply do not quest for them to be special status.
Lastly, if you do not fulfill your quest requirements within six months, your Nequus loses that status and cannot regain it. (They can still get special lines at skill level 500, however.)

Rolling Stats!
The fun begins! Stat rolling isn't difficult, its rather easy actually. Just takes a few posts and a little bit of luck! n.n
You can either roll for yourself or PM the Nequus Mule and we will roll them for you. I will use randomizer.org to calculate the stats if you roll them here.
You must have a journal in order to roll for stats otherwise we can't keep track of them, sorry.
exclaim NO DELETING POSTS. DO NOT DO IT. EVER. FOR ANY REASON. NEVER. exclaim
This is absolutely the worst thing ever. Deleting your posts to get a higher stat count. NOT acceptable in any way shape or form. If I find that you have done this you will get a warning and your Nequus will start at the lowest possible stats. If it happens again you will not be allowed to have any stats for the Nequus. If, for the sake of some diety you do it AGAIN with another Nequus, you will recieve a ban from the guild.
Here is how you roll based on the stage of your Nequus.
Fruit: Don't roll! Wait till it emerges! Foal: Generate a random number from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest) Adult: Generate a random number from 5 (lowest) to 15 (highest)
Keep in mind that 4, 5 and 6 are average for foals, as is 9, 10 and 11 for Nequus. Having above this means your Nequus is 'exceptional' in that particular category so do not be disheartened if your Nequus doesn't get a fifteen in intelligence and start playing them as though they were dumb. Maybe they won't be able to win the greatest war of all time against that mastermind like you were planning, but they are still very comperable Nequus at average stats.
If you roll for foal DO NOT roll again for the adult stage. I will update the stats as the Nequus grow, do not worry. Also, stats might reflect off of your RP, so if you really want a fast runner, you have to RP them that way!
Please use this format when rolling your stats. Bold the stat you are currently rolling for.
Stat Roll for Nequus' Name Power Strength Intelligence Wisdom Courage Luck Speed Agility Adaptability Stamina
If AND ONLY IF you have a seer/shaman, or other Nequus that is defined with Magical Ability you must also roll for
Control Efficiency Recovery
Power: This is how much muscle a Nequus can thrust into one swooping motion. It is essentially what determines balance and the ability to stand steadfast when someone runs into them. Power and Strength are very different. Strength: This determines how much weight a Nequus can take. Can it lift heavy loads? Does it pull well? Just because someone is strong, doesn't mean they aren't clumsy or powerful in one motion, they could be more tuned to a much longer period of pulling. Intelligence: This is mostly book knowledge. A good knowledge of everything around them, but not necessarily how to apply it. (ie, are they good with puzzles and complicated problems, or do those completely elude them?) Wisdom: A logical knowledge. Not only do they know a fair amount, but they can apply it, and they can decipher situations quickly and easily using their heads. (ie, common sense) Courage: This goes without saying. Fight or Flight? You can be courageous and very very stupid. Luck: If you one the lottery you got dang lucky, but will your stat rolls be the same? Speed: How fast your Nequus is. Will they be making dirt, or eating it? Agility: This is the grace an elegance of the Nequus. And agile Nequus can make sharp turns, graceful arcs, and overall have an amazing time in the air and on the land. They are normally quick to react and can come back from near any situation. Adaptability: How well does your Nequus cope to change? Do they do awful in the heat, or do they do well with it? An adaptable Nequus tends to do better in harsher conditions, one that doesn't do so well will stay in a place that doesn't change. Stamina: How long can you go? Speed is nothing if you can't go for a long time with it.
>.>
Control: This is how well your Nequus can work their 'magic'. One with awful control may miss targets or accidentally allow others to see into their minds. Efficiency: This is how well the 'magic' is used in the Nequus. The more efficient they are the more they can do without wearing down. An ineffecient Nequus wears out much more quickly. Recovery: As all Nequus of the magical property no matter what the type have the same amount of magic, recovery is very important. This is essentially how fast one can recover and come back from weaving their magic. Those with fast recovery may weave a small spell and feel no effects, while those that do not may get a headache or have another side effect.
exclaim Those rolling with CUSTOM or AUCTIONED Nequus ONLY exclaim
Do NOT roll for specific stats like it says above. Simply use the same form, and bold to keep track of what # roll you are on. When you are finished, you may move the stats around, they are not set in stone until you send in the journal.
Make sure you post your completed form with you CERTAIN final stats. This is to avoid buying a custom with a specific 'smart' personality in mind and getting stuck with a roll of 5 for INT and/or wisdom.
