*facepalm*

Buffy is like WAY before Edward.

Buffy would be too old.

And plus, she likes vampires.

ANGEL AND SPIKE!!!!!!

Quote from (I think) season 2:

In the middle of their fight, Buffy asks: Do we really need weapons? as she holds a (again, I think) crowbar aloft.

Spike: I like them. They make me feel manly.

lol. even old ladies are tough. have you SEEN my great-aunt?! she is 90-something and a nun! she still can hear perfectly fine, see perfectly fine, and walk like she was 30! She's one tough cookie. lol, you should have seen my grandmother's funeral, my great aunt showed up from a retreat and she had 8 other nuns with her. so there was an entire row in the tiny chapel that was filled with nuns. it was funny.

Lol

Ashley Green is awesome

I actually have a friend who, when first reading about Alice, thought the character was based off me. Creepy... I'm not nearly that perky.

Yes, that was off-topic *hang head in shame*

I would love to kill Stephenie! She is the most ameteur writer I've ever read! Seriously, the flaws are obvious, how do the Twilight Fans not notice them?

Oh right, the way they don't notice Sasuke Uchiha is an emo kid with an ego the size of the earth.

They are blinded by the idea of a vampire and a human.

And the whole 'forbidden love' thing. Who forbids it? Nobody! Only Edward ever calls it 'forbidden'

The Volturi just want her to become a vampire eventually

And Jacob's just a jealous whiny egotistical shapeshifter who calls himself a werewolf to sound cool

Rant over

SO YOU AREN'T A TWITARD!?!?!?! *glomps*

note: twitard is the anti-twilighter's term for twilight fans
PostPosted: Mon Nov 30, 2009 11:26 pm

Don't glomp me. Please. I'm anti-fangirl of anything, and you are acting like a fangirl of anti-Twilights.

If you hate it, get Nightlight. It's basically a parody of the whole thing. LOL

But I don't hate Twilight. In fact, it has a rather good idea. The writing is what bothers me the most. The way she makes a 180 year old vampire fall in love with a 17 year old girl is creepy, even if the girl is very mature.

I'll give Meyers this; she addressed that issue. She knew she coudln't write in a normal teenager's perspective, so she created a vein of story about how her mother calls her middle aged. An old soul, etc.

But she will never top Rowling. J.K. Rowling is the most impressive writer in the world.

Stephenie Meyer is idolized by girls (and the occasional guy) who are swept up in a romantic illusion that there is a soul mate for everyone.

Edward is an impossibility in real life and so is Jacob. Everyone should just get over it.

NO, there is NOT a vampire that will love you forever. Grrr.
