Okay. I know I haven't posted here in a while, but this is uberly important.
Yesterday on TV they said that people in John Lennon's hometown set free a whole bunch of white baloons. So I thought, if a former Beatle gets that kind of attention, shouldn't hide get some too?
What if, on his 50th birthday (I'm giving us a huge timeframe here @_@) a whole bunch of hide fans gathered, somewhere in Japan (Tokyo Dome? Kanagawa? Yokohama?) and each had a pink baloon. Someone could film the entire event, and then send it off to his fanclub (if it's still open by then).
So, um. I need feedback on whether this is actually doable or not, or just general thoughts on the idea. neutral

You know, I think that's such a good idea. The only problem would be getting to Tokyo. Next year I'll be in Sapparro, but there might be a slight chance I'd be near Tokyo on his 50th. Why would it have to be his 50th? Instead of his 50th birthday, what about a decade after his passing? I like that one. For some reason I like celebrating on May 2nd as opposed to his birthday, I don't know why O_o;.

Sure, whenever whee i mean, I have no idea if I'll ever get to go to Japan, but if I do, it will most likely be after I graduate, and after I get enough money... which, at the earliest, won't be till 2007. gonk

OMG~!!! I love that idea~! and in the ballons we could write something dedicate to hide : 'D like a personal mesasse since the ballon is going to fly up to heaven...it could be like if the mesasse we wrote would go to him... : )

Thats so beautiful crying Japan...sadly not everyone could go...it would be really sweet, if people all over the world could do it on it's own...because even if he was Japanese...people all over the world loves him and going to Japan for may 2 is really hard, it would be really really nice if people could send pictures from all parts of the world with thire pink ballons. I could represent Puerto Rico biggrin

Kaoru Valentine 50th birthday is a little far away...But it'd be cool if some people could advertise so it wouldn't only be like...5 people from our little guild xd (Get active here people!) Quite true, I think it'd be better to advertise it a lot then go there bare.
But even so, if a person can't make it... Maybe they'd just send off a balloon, where ever they are... Hopefully record it and then make some big clip of people sending off balloons for him.
