UH. WHAT THE HELL. THERE IS NO PAGE 38... So... I can't see EITHER of our posts. Try posting it here... 'cause... I have no idea what else to do... I think that thread has a glitch.

I think it's all Gaia forums. but we CAN TRY...here you go. now I have to seriously study.

((Oh yes. I sure did! I got offered wine and beer like nonstop by my aunts, uncles, and cousins and I refused. Haha. I was like "No thank you." And they thought that was amazing. But anyways. Yeah it was nice. Kind of boring, but nice.))

Abel took the bags into his hands and pulled them off the ground. At Talen's conversation with Leah, Abel laughed slightly and shook his head.

Mei laughed loudly and pointed at Talen as he mentioned she laughed at his affection. "That's right. Love is a funny thing. Especially when people show it like you. Oh man." She cocked her hip slightly and waited for Talen to answer his phone. She could hear Alice yelling and Mei smirked, looking over at Abel who frowned.

"Oh man..." He said softly and shifted the heavy bags. "We should get you back then." At Talen's comment about Leah being in trouble he made a confused face and then snorted at her reaction and the next words out of Talen's mouth. "You shouldn't scare her like that..." He said gently and looked at the woman with a sigh.

Mei opened her mouth to say something but the noise that came out was a surprise yell. A car came speeding down the road and screeched to a hault right by Abel who went completely pale and froze in fear. The black sports car had extremely tinted windows and was shined and polished without a single nick.

"PERFECT TIMING!" Mei exclaimed. "Gabey can drive us back so we don't have to exersice anymore than we already have."

Abel slowly came out of his frozen state of shock and looked over to Mei. "You didn't exercise at all..."

"Walking! HELLO. That's exercise." As she moved to the car the front door opened and a extremely tall black man stepped out, getting a few odd looks from passerby who were probably wondering how he fit inside. Abel looked at him and quickly looked away.

Gabriel walked up to him and took the bags from his hands. "We'll put these in the trunk." He said calmly, voice smooth and dark. A few women walking into the shop paused and stared at Gabriel, smiling dumbly. As he turned he saw Leah he said, "a new friend?"

"Oh." Abel jumped and nodded, blushing just barely, still pale from surprise. "Yeah...uh this is Leah...Leah, this is Gabriel." He smiled assuringly to her.

"Yeah call him Gabey. He LOVES that. And don't worry, he won't shoot you." Mei said with a devious grin and walked around the car, sliding into the passenger seat.

Gabriel rolled his dark blue eyes at Mei and opened the back door for the three others. "I can take you to Alice's." He said, waiting for them to get in.

Abel got into the car, sliding all the way to Mei's side.

((Yeah... that other one is still not working... sooo weird. Anyway. I'll post here... fffff!

AND I DON'T LIKE DRINKING EITHER... because it tastes bad :/))

Talen raised his eyebrows at Abel. "But it's fun to tease her. It's like the easiest thing in the WORLD." He threw his hands up. "I can't resist!"

Leah smiled at Abel, fidgeting with her hair. She just laughed. "He's too nice." She decided of the blond.

"You have no idea." Talen remarked and then jumped when Gabe's car came screaming down the street and stopped beside them. He blinked, but then laughed at the rather terrified expression on Leah's face. She was several feet back, rubbing her arms, laughing in a startled fashion. Talen grinned even more broadly at Mei's remark about excercise.

"Don't you be giving my woman no grief about her exercise habits. She gets just enough to keep that awesome body. That's all she needs." He bobbed his head.

Leah laughed loudly, hugging her sides, but then stopped as Gabriel emerged from his car. She couldn't help but stare.

"Long time no see." Talen said not bothering to say much more than that. He helped load the bags of clothes into the trunk.

At Gabe's attention on her Leah stared up at him feeling incredibly small. "You're some kind of tall." She remarked and then seemed to realized she said that out loud. Looking back at Abel at his assuring smile she looked back and grinned. "Hello." She said, this time more quietly, somehow shy. At Mei's words she went white, perhaps shocked that Mei knew what she had been thinking.

A big black man, in a dark car, with tinted windows. It screamed a violent stereotype.

"I WASN'T THINKING THAT!" She said suddenly, red in the face. "I'm sorry!" She said for no reason in particular, maybe to Gabriel himself, or maybe she was apologizing to black people for thinking such a terrible thing.

Talen cracked up. "Gabe is a thug. Gangster." He cracked up again.

Leah was so red in the face it seemed it was making her physically uncomfortable. She slunk into the car after Abel, hands over the lower half her face to obscure her features. Talen slid into the front seat and sat back.

"I feel so badass in this car." He remarked. "Do you feel like such a badass riding around in this? Pimping if you will?"

((HAHAHA, TALEN. YOU'RE. TERRIBLE. It's okay. He's brown.))

((HAHAHA WHAT? He cracks me up sometimes.))
PostPosted: Tue Dec 01, 2009 4:14 pm

After everyone was inside Gabriel got into the front seat. He quickly started the car, and pulled out into the street, this time at a legal pace. As Talen's remark he looked over and pulled out some sleek black sunglasses. He proceeded to put them on and look back out to where he was driving. It was if that was his answer to Talen's question.

Mei burst out laughing at Gabriel's action and she leaned towards him, smirking. "I think that was a yes. Right Gabe?"

"I never said a thing." He said calmly and came to a stop at a right light. "So I guess you can interpret that as much as you want." He leaned back and watching the light patiently.

Abel was keeping his eyes closed, too afraid if he were to look out the window that he'd get sick. He leaned his head against the back of Talen's seat and breathed in deeply.

Mei glanced over at Abel, snickered, and continued to pester Gabriel. "One of these days you'll take us to your bachelor's pad right? Big uprise apartment overlooking the bright city, everything glass and black leather. I bet you get some MAJOR LADIES like that. They love the whole tall dark and handsome. Man, I seriously thought I was going to end up with you. But look...I got this...thing." She nudged Talen's shoulder with her hand.

Gabriel looked in the rear view mirror at her and pushed on the gas as the light turned green. "I never heard about this." He said, raising a brow.

"Oh." Mei sunk backwards and became quiet. She sighed heavily and then pulled forward again. "Yeah. He's mine. Talen. We totally had heavy..." She stopped and looked over at the two beside her, laughed, and shrugged. "You know."

"You were never one for commitment, Mei." He said plainly and turned the corner. "You say the same thing about tons of others." He spoke as if Talen wasn't sitting beside him.

At this Abel opened his eyes and looked towards Gabriel and Mei. He could sense a subtle tension and he noticed Gabriel's hands were tighter on the wheel.

Mei seemed flustered and she snorted. "Are you calling me a tramp? How rude." She said, trying to make a joke of it.

"Hm." Was all Gabriel said as they pulled up to Alice's house.

(( D:...!!!!... Hahaha, I am finished with one project and almost finished with the other... ALL THAT'S LEFT IS STUDYING AND A PAPER! AWWW YEAH!

... and when I read Gabe putting on those sunglasses I chuckled. Haha. Just for the record.))

Talen watched as Gabriel slid on his sunglasses and laughed. "Slick." Was what he had to say about it. "Real slick."

Leah grinned a little and felt more comfortable. "This is a pretty hott ride." She said bluntly. "It helps Gabe is driving it too."

Talen turned around with his eyebrows raised.

"I know a good looking man when I see one!" She said, but still seemed slightly embarrassed by the look Talen was giving her. She turned her attention to Abel instead and looked concerned. "Does he... is he... okay?"

Talen looked, turned back and shrugged. "He's fine. He's focusing on not throwing up."

"Oh." Was all she said and then she proceeded to pat him sympathetically on the back.

At Mei's remark Talen just grinned at her in that quiet way only she could manage to get out of him. "Me over Gabe? Damn." He shook his head. "I must have looked real good last night." He turned back. He looked at Gabe as he inquired about it and then felt his face go hot when Mei informed him of what they'd done the night previous, but he was smiling. It was obvious he was more than just happy about what happened. He rubbed at his neck, laughed and felt quietly uncomfortable. "Yeah. I'm hers." He said, still rubbing at his neck.

Leah looked pleased. "That's sweet." She said, but then frowned at the dark man's response.

No one was quite as unsettled as Talen was about it. His smile fell from his face and he stared hard out the window.

"You shouldn't say things like that." Leah said to Gabriel. "Mei is a great woman... you should be happy for them." She frowned at him.

Talen laughed gently. "S'ok, Leah."

"NO." She said. "That's a terrible thing to say." She pushed her way out of the car.

Talen cast a brief look at Gabriel and made his way out as well. "Let's just go inside, huh?"

Leah had her arms tightly crossed. "Why would he SAY something..." She stared hard at a spot in the pavement, deeply upset.

"I'll get all your clothes out of the trunk, Abel." Talen said instead and made himself busy emptying the trunk.

((... hahaha, I have NO idea why that made Leah upset. NO IDEA.))
PostPosted: Tue Dec 01, 2009 8:06 pm

((Yeah! Haha and it made me grin as well. I figured Gabriel would have that silent humor thing going for him. Haha. And man LEAH way to be sensitive! xD ))

Gabriel looked behind him when Leah got upset. He raised his brows and looked at Mei who frowned.

"It's okay Leah. He didn't say anything. I just made a joke of it really. He didn't call me a tramp." She smiled uneasily and got out of the car. "He just states things kind of bluntly is all. I'd rather have the truth, you know. I'm used to it. I've dealt with him for thous...for years. Really. He's great." She nodded. "Anyways, if you try to argue with him he'll just bust your cap." She grinned a flashy smile and pat Leah's back.

Abel moved out after Gabriel and he looked over at Talen with a worried look. "Don't...I can get-"

"I'll get them." Gabriel said and walked up to Talen, taking the rest of the bags and took the ones Talen was picking up.

Abel sighed slightly and watched Gabriel take over. He would have made Gabriel let him take the bags, but he knew the man was the kind of person to lead and take care of things by himself. He wasn't someone to ask for help, but helped others...just so that they were done correctly.

"Oh. I need to give you something..." Abel suddenly said. Gabriel looked to him and shook his head. "Huh?"

"Wait until we can get some alone time." He said simply and headed towards the front door, all bags in his hands, which seemed awfully light as he carried them.

"Oh...okay. Uh...you can't just walk in there you know...Gabriel..." But the man stepped up the stairs. "Goodness...like talking to a wall." He rubbed his arm and followed after the dark man.

((OH. MY. GOD. WHAT A WEEK. But I for definitely did awesome on my history exam... one down and one more to gooo... AND ONE MORE PAPER. Hhaha, oh man. I'm so ready to be doneeeeee.

ANYWAY. I APOLOGIZE FOR SUCKING SO HARD. You're so good at posting and I am not. Fffff!))

Leah still seemed unsure even with Mei's explanation. She frowned carefully at Gabriel and then watched as he took what bags Talen had gathered into his own arms. She slowly uncrossed her arms and as to wether she seemed to believe Mei or not, she didn't let it show. Instead she smiled as Talen made a face behind his back to cheer her up.

Upon Gabriel's rather blunt entrance Talen could hear Alice inside.

"OH!" And then laughter. "Hello." There was then the unmistakable cry of his nephew as he probably attached himself to one of Gabriel's legs. "David!" Alice then peered out the door and waved everyone down, everyone but her brother whom she glared at quite hotly and then Mei who she was eyeing. She quirked an eyebrow on high and stood in the doorway.

"Hi Alice!" Leah said cheerfully and made her way up the stairs.

Alice blinked and grinned. "Without Saul today?"

Leah nodded. "He's got another woman in his life." She announced. "And she's scary."

((hahahaah. there.))
PostPosted: Sat Dec 05, 2009 10:18 am

As Gabriel walked in he smiled at Alice, "Hey. Figured I'd drop by and check up on my favorite kid." He looked around and then looked down at David as the kid collided with his leg.

He smirked at him and dropped the bags of clothes onto the floor. "Hey Kid." He bent down and grabbed David. With ease he lifted the boy high into the air, over his head. "Have you been giving your Mother a hard time? Or have you been good? You know the holidays only a few weeks away, so you should start making that wish list I know you have in your head. Maybe I can get you something pretty amazing." He put David over his shoulders. "Hold on tight." With that he made sure David was holding onto him before he picked up the bags again and put them aside.

When Alice came outside Abel smiled widely and wave. "Hi Alice!" He said, in the same cheerful voice as Leah and followed the said woman up the stairs. At Leah's comment on Lilith he laughed a bit and went inside, looking over at Gabriel and David. "Gabriel! Be careful!" He exclaimed.

Gabriel glanced over to David then to Abel. "Careful of what? This guy's stronger than the both of us combined. He's got a iron grip. I think I pulled a muscle when he arm wrestled me."

Abel smiled weakly and watched the odd pair with a worried face. But before long he was smiling. It was hard not to look at the two and and crack a smile, or even laugh. Gabriel had always had a soft spot for kids. Abel never asked the man why he was so sensitive towards them or always making sure they were okay. Somehow Abel had the feeling it was a touchy subject.

Mei looked up as Alice glared over at Talen. She looked at him and back at his sister with a smile. "Hiya Alice! Sorry I kept him last night. I couldn't get rid of him. He was on me like a dog in heat. Seriously. But it's okay. No damage done. Not like I was a virgin or anything." She laughed loudly and started towards the door. "Maybe I can get him off your back for more nights, huh?" She winked and ran a hand through her long black hair.

((Hahaha. Uh...))

((Hahaha, Mei... you is crazy. MEI. YOU. IS. CRAZY. I'mma post now... ONE MORE EXAM TO GO. ONE MORE. OOONE MOOORE... Buh. AND OMG WITH ALL THIS ATTENTION DAVID GETS HE'S PROBABLY THE MOST SPOILED KID EVER.

He loves it D:<... Alice just needs to have another baby so they can fawn all over him too.))

David hollered loudly as he was lifted into the air, a joyful cry that came with a smile. He flapped his arms and kicked his legs at the sudden gain in height, giggling happily. "I've been the BEST." He said seriously. "I've been working really hard to be good. Right, Mama?"

Alice nodded very seriously in return. "Yes, David. You've been VERY good."

"SEE?" David demanded of Gabriel. He grinned happily and then he stared at Gabriel with wide eyes. "I will get you something too!" He said seriously. "But I'll hafta make it 'cause I don't have a job... it'll probably be with macaroni... BUT I'M NOT GONNA SPOIL THE SURPRISE!"

David seemed particulary pleased when he was placed on the tall man's shoulders. He gripped tightly and grinned around at everyone. "I'm tall!" He declared. And then he laughed at Gabe's remark to Abel's worry. He produced tiny muscles with his tiny arms and flexed them. "Tal says I'mma champ."

When Mei spoke Alice stared hard for a very long moment. Talen looked perfectly uncomfortable and red in the face and attempted to laugh it off, but Alice caught him by the shoulder. She fixed him with a look and he flinched away slightly.

"FINALLY." Is what she said. "But don't talk to me about that stuff. Guh." She made a face as she walked back inside. "Disgusting."

Talen stared and then laughed himself, walking inside after all of them (pinching Mei's rear end for a bit of revenge as he went) and closing the door.

((B'AWWWW. THEY ARE ALL SO HAPPY AND TOGETHER ;D ))
PostPosted: Mon Dec 07, 2009 1:12 pm

Gabriel laughed a bit. Abel seemed surprised at the sound. The tall man nodded. "I love getting gifts people make. It means a lot more when you put time and effort into it." He said calmly and looked over at Abel who was watching him. He gave a shrug.

"I'm learning so much more about you, Gabriel..."Abel said seriously. Gabriel raised a brow and took off into the kitchen, bobbing David upon his shoulders. Abel shook his head and turned around as the other two came inside. Mei laughed as Talen pinched her and she turned around, waving a fist at him.

"CAREFUL. You wouldn't want this fist of steel in your pretty little face." She threatened and then jogged after Gabriel, yelling something at him that was incoherent.

Abel smiled and looked at Alice. "I'm going to make lunch." He said without question. He suddenly turned and followed after Mei and Gabriel. Before anyone could stop him he was pulling out food and pans.

Mei stared at him and ran over to the blonde man and wrapped her arms around his waist. Abel gasped and tried to turn but she remained latched on him. "What are you doing?" He asked uncomfortably as he pulled her, trying to get some milk out of the fridge.

"I like hugging you. You're so huggable." She said sweetly. Abel frowned and then laughed. "See? You're so CUTE!" Mei wiggled around, moving Abel with her as he cut some bread.

"I don't think that's a compliment...being cute..." He said, making a sandwich.

"Handsome too. Cutely handsome. You know..." She bounced onto her tip-toes and reached her head towards his ear, not really getting too close, for she was short. "I think...I think..." Abel leaned his head back for her. "She likes you..." She whispered for only him to hear.

Gabriel glanced over at them and grabbed David off his shoulders. He spun him a bit and dropped him. Before the kid hit the floor he caught him and then put him in a chair. "Who?" He asked Mei, somehow hearing her extremely quiet voice. Mei pursed her lips.

"MEEEEE!" She yelled and let go of Abel, running over to Gabriel and slamming herself into him, hugging him tightly. "I DO I DO!" She pushed him down onto the floor and lay on top of him. "You're getting weak! What's happening! IS THAT A BELLY?!" She pat his stomach. Gabriel glared at Mei but strangely enough flipped her off him. Mei started to wrestle him.

Abel looked at them and then to Alice and Talen with a smile. "What kind of sandwiches do you like?"

((Hahaha, she is quite insane... dats okay. I LIKE HER D:<... And I'm going to try to start posting CONSISTENTLY AGAIN! Phew... first quarter I am NOT going to miss you.))

Talen just laughed when Mei turned to threaten him. "Ooooh." He said, pretending to look scared. "I'm not sure if I don't like that idea. As long as your touching me." He grinned as she jogged off to both Gabriel and caught Alice looking at him. He smiled and she rolled her eyes, pulling Leah along with her.

"I can't believe you had to put up with these people all morning." She said to the redhead and she shook her head at Abel as he said, not questioned, but said he was going to make lunch. Everyone knew better than to try and convince him otherwise, and no one really minded a good lunch.

"I actually don't mind them." Leah said and gave Talen a look.

"SEE! PEOPLE LIKE ME, ALICE! PEOPLE. LIKE ME!" He sat down at the kitchen table looking prouder than he should have.

Leah laughed and took a seat to get out of the way as well.

As Mei generally harrassed Abel while he was working Talen pretended to look put out and jealous. "If Mei calls you cute it's a COMPLIMENT." He said crossing his arms over his chest. "I wish I were huggable. It's because he's BLONDE, isn't it?" He demanded instead of Leah.

Leah turned to look. "I think it's because he's so small you can reach all the way around."

"... Did you just call me fat?"

Leah was tilting her head at Abel and then suddenly jerked back to look at Talen. "NO."

"YOU. CALLED ME. FAT!"

"NO!" Leah said, waving her hands. "I was just... STOP TEASING ME YOU'RE MAKING MY HEAD HURT." She cried out at him as he started to laugh at her.

David cried happily as Gabriel got him into a chair beside his uncle and he patted the large man on his arm. "Thanks for the ride, Gabe. It's like riding on a mountain." He grinned and then he watched in complete awe as Mei got that terribly tall man onto the floor. He stood on his chair and Talen stood from his own and they cheered Mei on as she wrestled him.

Leah looked fairly confused. "... Who what now?" She squinted.

Alice glanced at the pair on the floor and seemed quite unbothered by the whole thing. "Probably nothing important, Leah."

((THERE.))

Mei was on Gabriel's back, arms locked around his and tugging them backwards. She laughed wickedly as he stayed completely still. "Fight back! You're LETTING me win!" She cried out and then let out a scream when Gabriel rolled over and threw her to the ground. She moved to get away put he slammed his large hands on her arms and pushed down on her legs.

"That better?" He asked, staring at her. Mei laughed and wiggled around. "Thought so. It's a good thing I like you, otherwise you'd have been crushed by now."

"Whatever." Mei rolled her eyes and squealed when he picked her up quickly, throwing her over one of his shoulders. He turned and she waved her arms around frantically. "STOP! I don't like being picked up! I'm afraid of heights!" She yelped.

Abel winced at the noises and he turned to look at them, watching Gabriel and Mei with a strangely bothered expression. Gabriel caught his gaze. "Something wrong?" He asked bluntly.

Abel blinked and shook his head, sheepishly turning around and putting together the sandwiches. Mei stopped her thrashing and remained limp on the tall black man's shoulder.

"When is something NOT wrong, Gabey? Seriously. And I think I am about to blow chunks on your wonderful designer suit." She groaned. With that said, Gabriel swiftly put Mei down. "Thanks. That was fun though."

"For you." He grunted and sat down at the table, rubbing his smooth head. Mei snickered and sat next to him.

"For you too! You KNOW it. Stop living in the Nile." She leaned over the table, rubbing some sweat from her forehead. "I'm hungry...when's lunch ready?!" She demanded of Abel, who was walking towards them with a few plates. "Ah, so attentive! The lady who gets you as her catch is going to be quite happy and pleased for the rest of her existence." She mused, grabbing one of the sandwiches.

"Uh...I don't think that's going to happen..." Abel said with a smile, sitting down and leaning back in his chair, watching as people took their food.

Gabriel watched Abel like a father watching their son, seeming to know everything. "You need to eat something. And change your shirt..." He muttered, grabbing one of the sandwiches. He took a bite and glanced up as Abel started to stand. "Not now, after you eat." The blonde sat down and took the remaining sandwich. "By the way, your birthday is coming up."

Mei stopped eating and jumped a little. "OH MAN! I FORGOT!" She said over a mouthful of food. She looked at Abel who was staring at Gabriel with a somewhat annoyed look.

"I just figured we should do something." Gabriel shrugged. "The last few years you refused to even be around anyone on that day." He didn't seem to notice the look Abel was giving him that said to be quiet. "It's the 12 isn't it? Only a couple of days."

"I don't want anything..." Abel said quietly, picking at his food. "Really."

((Post before work! I don't really talk about my birthday either. Hahaha, they've never really been a good day for me EVER. So... I stopped attempting to make them awesome. I celebrate AROUND that day instead.... ffff XD ))

Talen and David sat down again when Mei and Gabe, well mostly Mei, had fully satisfied herself with "fighting" with Gabe. "Who do you think won, buddy?"

David looked seriously thoughtful and Leah put a hand over her mouth to stifle her laughter. "Well!" He said. "I'd hafta say Mei is pretty tough, but if we go by the RULES I'd say that Gabe prolly won... even though he shouldn't fight with girls."

Talen laid out his hand for a high five from his nephew. "You are so right, my man."

Grinning David slapped him a five and then grabbed a sandwich when they were placed on the table. Leah grabbed one herself and passed one off to Alice so she didn't have to reach. Alice gave the young woman a smile and then frowned at Abel.

"No settling down for you, Abel?" She wanted to know. She gave Leah a glance who was looking down at her hands. "I said the same thing." She laughed. "Obviously, things didn't go as planned."

Talen laughed. "You just couldn't keep your hands to yourself, could you?"

"Me and him swore off men." Leah said for Abel. Talen exploded with laughter. "I SWORE OFF MEN." She corrected. "I mean... he... women." She gestured and stopped herself.

At the announcement of Abel's birthday Talen nearly choked on his food. Gasping he stared at his friend. "What?"

Alice considered Abel thoughtfully. "I'll make you a cake." It wasn't a question.

David stared at Abel thoughtfully, slid from his chair and moved off to do his own thing. Talen watched him for a moment and then looked back at Abel. "We gotta do SOMETHING. If not for your birthday than just because I feel like it!"

"Yeah!" Leah put in, agreeing.

"I want to do something on your birthday. So. There you have it."

((hahaha, fair reasoning.))
PostPosted: Sat Dec 12, 2009 9:46 pm

((Haha I alert people it is coming up...because I like people fussing over me! xD So selfish...))

Abel laughed a little as Leah said something ridiculous again. He shook his head. "I just don't think I was made to be with someone..." He trailed off as Talen gasped and looked at him. He shrunk back in his chair and sighed, rubbing at his face.

"Really...I don't want you guys to worry about it." He paused as David stood up and went off. Abel stared after him but looked back to Talen and he smiled weakly. "Please...whenever someone tries to do something for me, it just...never works. Really." He looked over at Mei who whistled and tapped her finger on her cheek.

Gabriel raised a brow. "You talking about us? Last time we did something for you, it went perfectly. For us. You just refuse to take part in anything. It's not our fault your stiff." He looked to Mei who was smirking.

"He's the stiff one? Look who's talking, Mr. Suit and glasses." She poked at him. Gabriel looked away and shrugged. "Anyways! yeah! We should do something! With all of us! We can have a surprise party!" She paused and frowned. "Oh...well...that's not gonna work now is it. We can all CLEAN!"

For a moment it seemed like Abel's eyes lit up at that idea, which sent Mei into a burst of laughter.

"Guys..." Abel groaned and put down his sandwich. "Why is this such a big deal? Gabriel...you had to say something...I hate my birthday." He muttered and looked down, pushing at the food.

Mei stood up and moved over to Abel, draping herself over his shoulder. "We'll MAKE you LOVE it! How old are you turning anyways?" She grinned, patting his cheek. "You're getting ANCIENT. Like Gabriel and myself!"

"I don't know..." Abel said quietly. Mei sighed. "How are we supposed to count how old we are?" He glanced at Gabriel seriously. The black man leaned back and seemed thoughtful. "Either way...it doesn't matter."

"It doesn't matter." Mei mimicked him. "You say that to everything! I can't believe you. Man. No matter how much you fuss...we'll do something. Even if we have to force you along with it." She pulled away, picking up his sandwich and finishing it off for him. "Whatever. I need to head off to work...I'm late."

((Haha. AHHHH I AM SO TIRED.))
