The lithe lady stretched beneath the morning sunshine and rose somewhat slowly to her paws, blinking the sleep away until her eyes were left glossy. She had slept well, though it would have been better if her family had been closer.

She often wondered what it would be like, to be a pride cat, to always have family close by and know exactly where they would be and how to find them. Out here in the unclaimed lands, she had no idea where her parents or her siblings might be. It worried her, though it was silly. Her family were much better at taking care of themselves than she was of herself.

Even still, worrying was an Anya thing and she couldn't help it.

So, with an even stride she moved out across the lands, following the way she had come the day before, hoping that she might happen by her sister's scent. Her nostrils worked delicately as she moved, head slightly lowered so that she might decrease the chance of missing something. A moment later and her soft tread startled three or four birds that clapped noisily up into the air. Anya, easily startled, leapt backwards a good few paces and blinked in surprise as she watched them rise up into the sky, screaming in fear.

"Silly birds...scaring me like that." She muttered, laughing a little to help calm the frantic beating of her heart.
