With her The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour ending Sunday night, the pop princess’ team has decided to keep the momentum going. After breaking for the holidays, Brit is going into the studio in January to work on a new album.
Brit’s last album, Circus, debuted one year ago today. It was her sixth studio album, and her fifth to debut number one on the Billboard 200. She’s obviously hoping this next effort will be lucky #7. The goal for release is June, 2010.

Britney is expected to release her 7th studio album in June 2010. Britney is set to head back into the studio in the coming months once she wraps up her Australian Circus tour. This album will also complete the current contract with Sony Music (Jive).
