Many days ago, the large wolf left the side of his Mistress, trusting her with her hopeful mate-to-be, Chernabog. He was pleased that the femme he had looked after since she was but a young one was now finally getting the good life she deserved.

He left on a mission to find more information that would please her, as he was always working hard to gather what he could. His large paws left tracks in the soft dirt as he moved through the brush, eyes glowing a little. It was nice to be on his own, tension was building on the Reign of Terror packlands as Liriel's pups grew, and his mistress grew ever closer to becoming the Alpha female alongside the vicious metal covered Alpha. His growing need for an heir also forced tension to flow through the lands.

Now he could relax on his own, though outside company was never too terrible. There was a chance a wolf would know about Feros or Selene, so he did have to keep an eye out for others. He would not tolerate anything less than perfection when it came to his ability to gather knowledge.

He sniffed a little at the air, his tail giving a slight wag before he continued on his path, wondering what he would find today.

User ImageWandering isn't something she was particularly liked. It was something she always did, like breathing, but she could really do without it. Stretching her body out, the strangely marked female looked around, green eyes piercing through the bushes, seeing if anyone was near. This place she has chosen for herself seemed to get a wolf every now and then. But that was alright. Sometimes, the antisocial wolfess liked talking to others, so long as they weren't going to try to draw her into a stupid pack. The next one that did... and she would have to move away from this little cave under a cliff.

Padding out into the gentle worn path, she made her way to get herself something to drink. Just waking up, she was parched. The winter months hurt her throat and made her head so cloudy. Yes, she was getting sick, but she would never admit it. Clearing her throat as she moved along, she knew anyone near would hear her and think she was choking or something, not that she cared.

Lapping up the cool liquid when she got there, she let it soothe her raw throat now, giving a contented sigh. Her tail flicked behind her, smiling a bit more to herself, the markings on her mouth curling upwards even more, for a creepier look.

The soft sounds were not lost to the advisor, and he decided he would see if he could find where it was coming from. He caught the scent of the female before he saw her, and the pleasent air caused him to move further a bit. If he was to get any information out of her, he would need to behave himself properly, as the loyal wolf he was.

Her intricate markings were what caught his eye first, he had not seen a wolf of that sort of apperance before in his life. They were gorgeous patterns, the gold sticking out rather bluntly against the ground around her. He approached slowly, not wanting the femme to think that he would attack upon first sight. Though he had plenty of brute, the only time he used it was to protect his mistress.

"Hello," He greeted softly, bowing his head a little to the female that was lapping at the water. It was a bit rude of him to interupt her when she was obviously busy, but he couldn't sit around and wait forever. "I apologize for interupting you, Miss. I was wondering if this was your territory?"

She didn't notice him, not just yet. She was much to content in looking around and drinking every now and then from the cool water. Her fur ruffling in the wind around her, tail drooping a bit. It was quiet, like there was someone out there. The birds that were usually chirping, were completely gone. Her ears twitched, nose went to the air. Atai didn't know the male was downwind from her.

The voice didn't come from the direction she thought someone would approach from. Turning swiftly, fur bristling, a growl in her throat, her green eyes squinted a bit more and then snorted heavily. It was just a weak looking male. How... stupid. Her ears flicked back as her fur laid back down; calming herself. It was more than obvious that he wasn't going to attack her. Whatever. Not like she honestly cared if he did. Atai knew she could take care of herself against another wolf.

"I have claimed this area as my own," she answered calmly, voice like a soothing balm over a burn or a wound. She knew she had a pretty voice, which is part of the reason she didn't want to talk a lot. She'd lured a few other males to her with this voice, and used them to her advantage. Not against their will. They could have left at any point during her 'game'. "Who're you? Why do you care if this is my territory?" She didn't snap, it was more inquiry.

Her growl did not worry him in the least bit. If he needed to defend himself, he would take care of the female easily. Being in such a rough pack only made him all the stronger. Her fire, though, was slightly inticing. Interesting, to say in the least, it would be hard to get information out of this one if she did know anything of value to him.

It was a pretty voice, but he was not naive enough to let such a thing distract him. He had a mission to worry about. "My name is Damon." He bowed his head a little in a proper greeting. "I am from the Reign of Terror, a very strong pack not too far from here. My speciality is to gather information."

At that, he gave a bit of a smile to her, still doing what he could to come off as nice and polite. "I was curious as to if you have come across a wolf named Selene. Or a run named Feros."

Rein of Terror? That was just.... weird sounding. Her ears flicked as she regarded the male again and watched his every move. If he was a pack wolf, there could be more around; which could mean she could be in a lot of trouble. Then again, if there were more pack around, why would they send out this one? He didn't even look good at what he said his job was supposed to have been. She flicked her tail in dismiss and got comfortable.

Strong pack her left paw; she'd never heard of them. She knew of a few packs, but not this stupid terror one. "I haven't heard of such names, but I've only just settled into this area. Runners, I take it?" Stupid voice. She hated talking. Atai was glad that he didn't seem interested in her voice, though he did seem interested in something. "Let them die alone. Runners from packs are weak, useless creatures that deserve to be alone and rot."
