-- Owning A Big Mecha --

Mecha are machines that are used for various purposes, but usually take the form of humaniod tanks. Taking the archetype of Mecha Pilot provides you with a FREE mecha. The mecha can be an extension of your imagination. The limit placed on mecha consists of no-world destroying weaponry. The size of the mecha will determine where you can take it, so please consider smaller mecha, including exoskeletons, when constructing your mecha.

Please take at least one form of primary weapon, beam sword or a gun of some sort, and one secondary weapon, concealed sub-machine gun or combat knife. Please limit the number of primary weapons to two, and the secondary weapons to four. Remember, if you chose to be a battle mecha pilot, you will be fighting equal calibre mecha.

The Mecha’s Armour Class represents the weight of the machine and the thickness of the armour provided by it. A light Mecha, weighing between 50-1 500 lbs, can travel at the fastest speed of 250 mph. Medium mecha, weighing between 1 501- 2 500 lbs, can travel at the moderate speed of 175 mph. The heavy mecha, 2 501 + lbs, travel at the relatively slow speed of 90 mph. (( Speeds subject to change.)) *It might be better to say, that a human sized mecha to the size of 15’ tall mecha are light, and any thing larger than 30’ is a heavy model. This only applies to size, if you want to have thick armour, your mecha is heavy.*

Upgrading the mecha can be done to improve its various functions. No matter how often you upgrade the mecha, its speed cannot increase by more than 10% total. The armour can be changed to dramatically change the weight category, and thus the speed. The armour of the mecha will change accordingly. Upgrades may also pertain to performance, and how the pilot and mecha interact. Other improvements include flight, which doubles speed, and underwater and deep space survival. Items that are not necessarily weapons are also considered upgrades, including various grappling hooks and ladders.

Most of the more advanced states are ruled by democracy, except for Praetor which is ruled by a single 'fuhrerr'.

Archaic and Modern Worlds Colliding

Anorock contains many archaic institutions and backwater nations as it does completely modern. The urbanism of the last millennium has seen the grow of three major cities, Anonor, Praeton, and Oakvale. Several smaller kingdoms maintain their traditional and medieval societies, and war amongst themselves, believing the three metropolises to be non-existent or supernatural powers.

Anonor Collectable Card Game Holographic Space Tournament, ACCGHST

This semi-annual event is growing in popularity while competing for air time with the more widely accepted and appreciated GAMEs. The ACCGHST is held every four months, where the best card players gather to duel over various prizes, usually consisting of rare or valuable cards. The card game uses holograms to project an image into an area for the audience to watch, and activates various automated images of the creatures and other cards functioning during the match. The games are usually short and decisive, but occasionally duels can last for several hours. No one is quite sure why it is call the Space tournament, but it is commonly accepted that the original tournament was held with a space motif. Other inspiration include that the tournament originates from space, or similarly high flying ideas.

Saint Sayia High School

The second largest high school in Anonor, with a mere one thousand five hundred students. This school dominates runner up in most completive extra-curricular activities. Many of its graduates become artists and popular writers. This school is rarely assaulted by evil, and does not appear to have any local heroes. It often divides itself into factions that follow one of the numerous heroes of their rival school, Lady Sakura. This school holds a competitive martial arts tournament semi-annually, The Fists of Furry . It often used as a recruiting area for potential APs and UADCs.

Knights of the Round

The most famous Sentai organization within Anonor. The five brave knights frequently show up whenever trouble arises within the city, and almost always reach Lady Sakura High when trouble brews. It is commonly believed that the local professors are actually the knights in disguise, but some believe that it would be more accurate to guess a few of the students, as the colours of the Knights change fairly frequently. Other rumours suggest that they are simply aliens from a distant planet, or extra-dimensional beings. This band of heroic Knights are easily spotted when they use their combined attack, Knights of the Round Elemental Barrage, where the sky can be light up by the various flashing colours for several minutes. This attack is also know as the �Building Bane.�

Hideki's Bandits

A group of loosely united motorcycle bandits who are organized centrally upon the suburbs of Anonor's East Side. They are united by their common admiration of the legendary Hideki, who's numerous achievements often have him blushing. This gang is know for its fast paced bikes, and the intense night time racing. They are also at war with their only rival, the Speed Racers Blue.
