Hello everyone.

In this subforum is every Triple Triad related thread, sticky, and announcement posted in this guild since the game was brought to us via forum environment in 2006.

The idea was to have two people play the FF8 game Triple Triad in threads made by a game host. This host would be in charge of displaying each members cards and the game board throughout the entire game. The players would each take turns playing their cards on each space by naming what card they would use and the number to place it, cooresponding to the numbers placed on the board. The Sample game Announcement in this forum shows how this was done.

As you can see, this was a very extensive feature in the guild and it did bring about plenty of new members. Unfortunately, hosting a game was very extensive, requiring access to several shared guild accounts both here on Gaia and elsewhere, and the continual modification of .gif and .jpg images. In addition to all that, there were only 2 members that had the ability to host these games. Eventually, it became too much to handle as often as players liked, and so it was left behind.

Don't think of everything you see in this subforum as a waste of time or a random collection of thread topics and broken image links. Instead, look at them as one of the many ideas that the Crew members and Captain here in the Final Fantasy VIII Fan Guild brought to you, the members, in order to make your time spent here that much more enjoyable and memorable. We try our hardest, and everything posted here should show that.
