Rule 1: The LOWEST amount of gold you can spend on your gift is 5000g. Feel free to spend more than that.
Though if you spend 100k on a gift, do not expect to receive similar in return, not everyone has a lot of gold to spend on gifts.
If you prefer, you may buy your gifts with Gaia cash, but make sure its price on the MP is equal to or above 5000g.

Rule 2: Please make sure to send your gifts to your partner AS CLOSE TO Christmas as you can! We all understand if you'll be on Mars for the last two weeks of December, but if you know this ahead of time, please be sure to send your partner their gift beforehand!

Rule 3: Please no not request a specific person to gift to or from. Once we have all our applicants confirmed, I will assign partners at random, either from a hat IRL or a number generator. In the event of an uneven number, I will give two presents. ♥

Rule 4: Do not spoil the surprises! Try not to let your recipient find out that you're their secret Santa! The mystery makes it fun!
Likewise, if you find out who someone's Santa is, do not spoil their surprise either. No need to be a grinch :C

Rule 5: When sending your gift with the Gifting Program, please be sure to follow this protocol:
-Send it ANONYMOUSLY. See the image below, and make sure that box is checked. We will have time after/on Christmas to guess who your santa was!

-If you're sending more than one item (each individual item should be worth 5k or more.) Please send them all in giftboxes, not trades.
-When sending a gift, It would be more fun if you wrote in silly clues or hints as to who you are in the message. (This rule is optional, but it makes guessing later on more fun!)
- Make sure to include the word "sprocket" Or "sprocket secret Santa" somewhere in your message, so your partner knows it's for this exchange!

Of course you don't HAVE to! This is a completely optional christmas activity. But you'd be missing out on all the fun ;}

I have no gold! Can I still participate?
If you have no gold to buy a present, you can still participate! It would only mean that you'd have to use something you already own that meets the price criteria!

I have no gold and no items I want to give away that meet the price criteria~ Can I give art?
Unfortunately, no :C While art is always a lovely gift, it is not counted as a valid gift in this exchange. Though if you wish to include art AS WELL AS a gift of 5k or less, feel free to!

That's no way to act during the holiday season! Put your problems aside and find good will for your fellow gaians! If you have a SERIOUS problem with the user you have been partnered with, please PM me and we can discuss the issue.

First make sure that it is at least DECEMBER 25th before you PM me about this. If you still haven't received anything by the 26th, I will PM your Santa, and if there is an issue, I will make up the lost gifts from my own pocket.
