Today saw a double whammie for the undefeated Indianapolis Colts. First was a very impressive come from behind victory against division rival Houston, boosting their record to 11-0, and their current regular season winning streak at 20. A win next week will tie them for first with... the New England Patriots.
But also, with the 49ers victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Colts have won the AFC South, clinching for them another Division championship, and a return trip to the Playoffs.
With them being division champions, they will place no lower than 4th seed. But as the only undefeated team remaining in the AFC, and holding the tie breaker over AFC East leading New England, It is tough to see them not finishing the regular season with at least a first round bye.
The next two weeks will tough for them. Next up is a rematch against the Tennessee Titans, who after starting 0-6, have won 5 straight, (The Colts won their first meeting 31-9) After that they meet the Struggling Broncos who rebounded with a mighty Thanksgiving day victory over the N.Y. Giants, showing they are not out of the playoff hunt just yet. Win those two games, and they will be guranteed a first round bye.
In other news, Peyton Manning still a favorite to win his 4th seasonal MVP award. But is currently being edged out by Brett Favre, who also has three league MVP awards. Will be interesting to see who will emerge as the winner, if either one of them, or if they will be co- MVP's and set a tie for first with 4.

With the big win over Denver Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts not only wrapped up Home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but many records were broken during that game.
1. The Colts now have the longest regular season winning record at 22. Breaking their tie at 21 with New England.
2. The Colts have set the record for most wins by a team in a decade, breaking the record of 113 by the San Francisco 49ers of the 90's
3. Brandon Marshall of the Denver Broncos set a record for most receptions in a game with 21, breaking the mark of 20 set by Terrell Owens
4. Indianapolis has set a franchise record for it's 13th straight home victory.
5. Peyton Manning has surpassed Warren Moon at #4 on the all time list of passing yards at 49,533
Now there has been a bit of debate over whether Jim Caldwell will play his players or rest them in the final three games of the season. Well for Thursday nights game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Caldwell said, "Healthy players, be ready to play!" Which means Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, and many other starters who have declared that they want to play Thursday rather than rest will be playing, but for how much of the game, that's the question. Caldwell also stated that while he intends to play his starters against Jacksonville, their remaining two games against the Jets and Buffalo will be a week to week decision on whether if he will start the starters or rest them for the playoffs.
Will the Colts play their starters all the way through to keep the momentum and attempt to get 16-0? And if not can their backups pull out wins over the Jets and Buffalo? Fantasy owners should be weary of their Colts players week to week.
Fun Facts:
1. Peyton Manning had 3 interceptions Sunday. Manning and the Colts have never won a game where he has thrown 3 or more INT.
2. Manning's 4 TD game gives him Twenty 4 TD games in his career. He only trails Dan Marino (21) and Brett Favre (22) for most 4 TD games by a Quarterback.
