[This is for those 'Zombies' that don't really want to eat peoples. The Living are free to join too. I can't promise you won't get eaten by others, but Azzo isn't in the mood to try to eat people.]
Azzo sat outside the theater doors. He was looking at his hands, they had a tint of .... green... and he was also looking around at the school. Apparently there had been a fire. He was hungry... but for not for food. He wrinkled his nose.
Of course hoping this was just another dream he sighed, resting his head on the door. Knowing that doors were dangerous things to sit near. He was still in his uniform. Looking curiously over to buildings, wondering if his puppets were untouched or if they too were burned to hell.
He was curious as to where everyone else was.

Melody came up behind him, having finally found where he had gone, a frown on her usually smiling face.
"So.. I guess we both didn't make it.." she murmured to him as she knelt down behind him, her own greenish hands resting on his shoulders.
The minute she had woken up she had felt hungry, ravenous... It had been like her dream only she hadn't found Ignacio anywhere near her. She'd been grateful for that, not sure she could handle the feeling of seeing him and feeling such horrid hunger. She'd fled the moment she realized the feeling to try and talk herself out of it.
So far she'd done pretty good with suppressing the need to feed. Here was to hoping she could keep it up.

Nealite sat atop the theater, looking down as the female zombie student trudged over to greet the male zombie student. It was hard to decipher who exactly they were, thanks to their new shade of green and, well, zombification, but the Barren Pines theater teacher vaguely recognized them as two of her own recruits for the now-canceled school play.
Her legs were dangling over the side, purple cobweb boots gently swinging in the air as she studied the two. Neither seemed to be doing much at all. What naughty youma these two were acting like!
Glancing over to her side, she cast her partner a grin. Now that things had patched themselves up between herself and Hematite (or at least, as far as they'd be patched up, considering present circumstances), they'd planned to have a bit of fun with the new events running rampant across the Barren Pines campus.
And, well, it looked like some fun had just arrived.
"I think... these two need a lesson on how to be good little monsters," She said slyly, motioning to the duo below with one dainty finger. "And we could certainly use the practice... don't you agree?"

Hematite partially kneeled down next to Nealite to peer over the rooftop, still casting the occasional paranoid glance at the Negaverse captain next to him as though to assure himself she would not go through any freaky appearance changes when he wasn't looking. He didn't recognize the students she was pointing out, but then again, they weren't his responsibility to keep track of. To him, they were just a couple of youma who thought they could escape their true nature - why didn't things ever go smoothly to plan? This was supposed to be an efficient clean-up, practically hands-free. He had no personal interest in the plan, given there was no one he had a serious grudge match with down on the campus, but he did have orders. And Nealite was here - he couldn't blow this off and just watch as the zombies tore the Barren Pines students apart, much as he'd rather.
Well, on the plus side, it wasn't like he was in any danger from the zombies. Maybe it would be fun. Or maybe it would just be a pain in the a** if too many youma were going to need special attention just to get them to suck all the blood out of someone like they were meant to. Sigh.
"Oh, of course, ma'am. But I call dibs on the girl for this." Looks like Nea was starting to get the full Charonite treatment as far as sarcastic emphasis was concerned. But unlike with Charonite, he wasn't doing more than mocking the formality of all her titles, smirking at her. 'Your Majesty'. The day he had to use that one... Hematite looked down at the zombie embrace. "So do these things have a 'zombie apocalypse' mode? Because this doesn't look anything like Night of the Living Dead from where I'm sitting."

Azzo looked at Mel when she placed her hand on his shoulder. "You too?" He muttered looking at her before leaning his head back on the door.
He'd been trying to figure out what to do. "I'd still like to find out who the doush bag was to put us through all that s**t." He sighed, "Looks like all the teachers might've turned tail and ran though. Stupid cowards... all I wanted to do was beat the s**t out the one behind this."
He still suspected that one English teacher of knowing who was behind this. "Even Ms. Johnson, which is a shame..." He added, "I never got to do my act this year." He wasn't interested in eating any of the other students because to him they weren't the cause of this. "Which might've been for the best least someone getting murdered there too."

She was unaware of the ones watching them, unaware that they could be affected by anything but their hunger. She'd soon find out it seemed.
"I know... But the chances of finding them are slim to none at this point. I don't know what we can do." What she wanted to do was find a way to kill herself again, maybe... She didn't know if she could deal with this hunger that gnawed at the back of her brain, made her stomach growl with the idea of fresh flesh and blood. Suddenly she felt rather disgusted with herself and tried to back away from such thoughts.
"I... just wish I knew why this had to happen to us," she whimpered as she moved to sit behind him completely, leaning her head against his back. "We've done nothing to deserve this, none of us in this school! This is wrong and I wish there was a way to stop it!"
Realizing her voice had gone a bit loud, her whole gentle personality seemed out of sorts any more, she fell silent save for a small apology for getting so loud.
"I want to find a way to stop this for good.."

Not one for horror flicks herself, the older girl merely scrunched her nose in displeasure at the ma'am directed her way, shook her head, and slid off the building. Down, down, down she fell until her boots hit the ground with a thud, and she straightened herself up with ease.
God, it ******** rocked to work for the Negaverse sometimes.
"Stop it? But darling, we've only just begun!" She exclaimed, feigning shock at the girl's statement. One hand waved and her mirror fell into her grasp, Nealite taking a moment to glance in it to ensure not a hair was out of place before continuing, "And here I thought you dears would have such a good time being our little pets. Rebellious little things, though, aren't you? Tsk tsk."
The mirror dropped down to rest against her side as orange eyes turned to stare at the boy. Azzo, she thought she could recall his name as... not that it mattered any more. One hand outstretched itself and she snapped her fingers in his direction.
"You. You're going to be mine for this little game. You better not disappoint me. I hate losing."

Something hit the ground behind Melody while the spotlight was on Nealite. A six-foot-tall, spindly spider of a boy unfolded from his crash landing and leered down at her. After tossing some loose dreadlocks back, Hematite crossed his arms as though bored. She looked like a better choice from up on the roof. Oh well, too late now.
"Tag, sweetheart. You're taking orders from me." After spending enough time surveying his choice, he took a step forward and gestured for Melody to approach him. Hematite flashed Melody a cold smile, and looked over at Nealite's choice, the zombified boy. The lieutenant placed a hand on her (thankfully covered) shoulder, leaned down, and quietly spoke a few words of encouragement. "Don't feel pressured. Unlike my colleague there, I don't care if you win or lose. Just make it entertaining for me."

He heard her as she landed looking towards Nea. "You're not quite convincing." He muttered as he stood up looking around something was weird. "You guys were behind all these deaths? Or... you know who was?"
Azzo's brow lofted however, he stopped the orange hair made him tilt his head. "Interesting.... Do I... know you?" He muttered looking at her slightly confused, "And you know I have a name, I'd very much rather you use it."
He grimaced at the words you better not disappoint me. "Depending on the game...." He looked at mel, "Her... I won't hurt." He looked at the Negaverse Officer, slightly stern.
He turned when the other one landed looking at the other fellow brows furrowing. He wasn't quite liking this, and checked with his left hand to see if he had his crystal with him under his sleeve like always.

She'd turned as the woman's voice responded to her words, eyebrows furrowing as she glared up at her. She'd wanted to say something but when she claimed Azzo as hers for the game. Immediately she stood, hands out as a pathetic attempt to keep Azzo in safety.
"You can't have him!"
And then some one else joined the fray and she found herself turning as something touched her shoulder. Another one?! Really? Oh eff this, really. And he was taller then her by about four inches. It was off having to look up at some one, since she was used to staring eye to eye with Azzo.
"Why should I take orders from any one?" She'd lost her annoyed/rough edge, not liking this whole situation. "What kind of game are you people playing with lives like this?"

One eyebrow rose and the Negaverse Captain sauntered over towards the boy, a smirk growing as she stared at her insubordinate youma, once former student. One hand outstretched and draped itself over the boy's shoulder, mindful as well not to touch any of the... icky parts. Fluffy and cute she could deal with, undead prepubescent boys, not so much.
"You're not in any position to be asking the questions, my little pet." she crooned softly, her head moving up to purr in his ear, "And you will be called what I wish to call you, you will do what I tell you to do. Or, you know, you'll be killed on the spot. Not that you have a choice in the matter, though, since your will is no longer your own."
Her grin was sickening, and she let out a giggle. "But it's okay, darling, you don't have to worry. I'm not going to make you to hurt her."
Taking a step behind the boy, she patted him firmly on the back, the grin still wide and gleeful.
"I'm going to make you kill her."
Another giggle bubbled up from within, Nealite clearly enjoying the bit of fun she was having before the actual fight. One hand shot out, pointing in the other girl's direction. "Go. Fight her. Pull her hair, rip off her skin. I want you to take this nice and slow, my darling, and then we can both enjoy watching her die by your hands."
Azzo, despite his words, had no choice to obey, for Nealite was right. His will was no longer his own and his body was already starting to move forward towards his young lover, hands outstretched and ready to attack.
It seemed Fate had further heartbreak in store for the young couple, their lives and actions now in the hands of two terribly bored Negaverse puppeteers.

"One that doesn't involve any useless back-talk." It looked like Hematite wasn't happy with the zombie Melody not following along. But, then again, youma did have to do as they were told. He jabbed a finger at her. "Don't say another ******** word to me. If you'd like to make a complaint, make it to your flesh-eaten boyfriend over there. And be quick about it, I don't think you have much time for last words."
Hematite watched the show on Nealite's side of the makeshift arena. Quietly again, he instructed the zombie girl. He was a Negaverse Lieutenant, and she was a youma. There wasn't any room for her to refuse direct orders, merely carry them out. And it was clear he was taking a certain enjoyment at seeing Melody squirm. "You know, I take back the thing about last words. The two of you couldn't possible be in love - you're just a couple of monsters. Hey. Why don't you tell your friend here how much you hate him, despise him, wish he was dead. Let's get some dark secrets out in the open tonight, those are fun. What kind of things have you been hiding from him, that you planned to take to your grave? Go on, tell him."
"One catch: love talk? Forbidden. No 'I love you', no 'I like like you', and don't bother with allusions and similes and metaphors. Not everyone is as stupid as the two of you. Go on, hurt him with your words. You'd be surprised how effective they are!"
He gave Melody a rough shove in the back to push her at Azzo. "Fight him. Kill him. You've got teeth, you've got claws, and and I'll bet you have his heart right where you need it. Start talking."

Azzo looked at Nea, he was trying to fight actually going to kill Mel, but it wasn't really working. Of course it kind of pissed him off to, "Would you ******** kill someone you cared for Lady? Would you kill the love of your life if someone told you to?" Granted he only knew Mel for the few years they'd been here, and he'd never entertained the thought of love, but he wasn't against using the words.
His head about faced however so he couldn't stare her down. However he scoffed, "Come to think of it, we're not the monsters here, you guys are." He muttered as his body was basically on auto pilot.
"You're the ******** monsters. The ones I've been looking for. The ones that made me kill the first guy... what was his name... oh yeah Nacio. If I knew who's sick idea this was I swear I'd go after them, or you, with a ******** pipe. You made me kill that Kimmie girl too...."
He looked at Hematite, "And what about you, do you have someone you care for? What if I go after her? You can't always be around to tell me what to do. You look like you're old enough to go to classes around here." His eyes narrowed as Mel was being shoved towards him. "How would you like her? Deep fried maybe?"

She found it hard to talk when he told her to shut up, her eyebrows furrowed together as she struggled against the orders given to her. Hands balling into fists, her nails bit into her flesh. She wasn't a monster! She wasn't!
Shoved foreword, Melody stumbled as she found her lips wanting to move but no sounds came out at first. And that probably because she was struggling against the tears that were beginning to form. Not only was she being pitted against Azzo but... she had to speak harshly? She who's words were nothing but kind to anyone? And to him of all people?! The boy she was falling so ******** head over heels for? She wanted to puke her guts up.
Forced to stare at Azzo she found words she didn't mean spilling out of her mouth. And she could only hope that he would know she didn't mean them. And each word pierced her heart as if she was stabbing herself instead.
"I blame you for 'Nacio's death," she ground out, voice strained because she didn't want to say or even think such bad things of him. He'd tried to save Ignacio, he'd helped her with his death... Saved her from killing people when the real monsters forced them to play horrid games. "I hate you for it."

"Nuh uh uhhhhh!" came the sing-song response, her finger wagging at him as she continued to tsk. "You keep asking questions. And talking far too much for your own good."
Eyes wandered to look at Melody, and then at Hematite. God, he was good; why hadn't she thought up the ban on love thing?
"You know what. I like that idea. Alright, my pet, you are no longer allowed to speak... unless you are saying something atrociously hateful towards your fair maiden. Or telling me how beautiful I am. You know. As you're killing her."
Hands clapped together, almost impatiently. "Too much talking, not enough mauling. Chop chop, my darling, I want to see some blood and killing!"
