i know what you will all say, NO DONT DO IT, but i mean what reason dont i have to run away opposed to what is waiting for me where i will try to go. i know that getting there will be hard but i mean i can stand the cold i dont mind being hungry and i dont mind sleeping in my clothes or on the ground. i mean really i dont know how i will get to oregon and utah but i really really wanna go, please dissuade me from going. i love you all so much but i really dont want to be at my house anymore. its the only place i ever am!!!!!!!
*after name change* I really wanna learn about non-christian religions but it is hard for me to from my current position. If you have any doctrine you would like to share that is not christian then please no matter what the religion is.

I find it helps to be realistic. How're you actualy going to get there? Do you have the money and the resources? will some one be there to help you out until you're on stable ground there? Are they willing to help you, and ? And what makes you think you parents aren't going to come after you? Who are you leaving behind, and what will they do?
If you can give all of those satasfying answers, then go ahead, run away.

Do you have the money and the resources? will some one be there to help you out until you're on stable ground there? Are they willing to help you, and ? And what makes you think you parents aren't going to come after you? Who are you leaving behind, and what will they do?

In most cases running away is not the answer. I have a friend who left her home to live with her real mother. She ended up in a worse situation than before. Like hawkeye said, really think it out. If you need, pm me and tell me the situation and then perhaps I can try and offer further advice.

Like the others, unless you really know what you are doing, don't. I know what its like! Trust me. Make sure you have a place to stay, people you know who will and can help. It makes it so much easier that way. Hope things work out some way!

please don't do that. it really IS a bad idea. i too have considered it a lot in the past. but it's not what Heavenly Father wants you to do. There are virtues we are taught in the Bible, one of them being patience and long-suffering. Trust me, it HURTS to wait. it's absolutely foul. but it will be worth it. i don't know how old you are or what your story is why you want to run away, so please, let me know. i can't give you much more help unless i know what you're going through. who knows, it might be very similar to my situation.

Short of your parents abusing or negleting you, it is not a good idea.
You can't even imagine the horror you would put your family through.
Perhaps you can arrange with them a vacation with a friend.
They could pay your air fair and you could visit your friends in Utah for a short time.
That might help.

Starting wednesday the 14th i wont be on the comp until jan 2nd or 3rd, because of christmas break.

Who are you leaving behind, and what will they do? a few of them will miss me, i mean genuinly miss me, but the rest will probably only give me a thought or two everyonce in awhile, which is more than they give me now.
If you can give all of those satasfying answers, then go ahead, run away. okay my answers are stated above. i know that my home life is much much much better than a bunch of peoples. but my social life is nothing. you know what,lol, if i was to do this then when i got home i wouldnt be allowed on the computer at all anymore, because my parents would be afraid i was going to runaway again to meet someone else. all i really want is to be allowed back on the comp at home. and i miss all of ya'll, if i had my home comp you would all know me better. but i dont because i was and am an idiot.
