• Physical Description: Kei Aoi is a fairly-built man with handsome features. He bears a tall stature, ocean-blue eyes and a noticeably/unusually raven-colored hair. He also has a calming-type of expression all over his face that sends a subconscious message to everyone that looks at him to calm down and relax. However, one can notice immediately when Kei is under deep stress, particularly lines appearing in his face that results in his old and boring look. He is commonly seen in Sereitei wearing standard Shinigami Shikahusho topped with a captain haori, though his is unusually long particularly in the sleeves; he likes to keep his wakizashi in his sash or have it hidden at his back (this is when he works in the healing room or whatnot).
  
  • Special Accessories: One of his most noticeable accessory from his entirety would be his earring charm attached at his right ear. It is an earring that has a long string connected to it and has an additional charm at the end of the string. When he is walking, the charm softly rings that sounds like something from a beach environment.
  
  
• Personality: Kei Aoi is a pleasant man in terms of interacting with other people. He always addresses his friends and acquaintances (and also enemies) with their proper given names. He does not show traits of frustration and stress, except in grave moments. He unusually speaks in an overly formal tone and tends to laugh softly quite often. He is easy to interact with and tries his best to be as approachable as he can to everyone not only from his division but also around Sereitei.
  Kei Aoi, despite all the pleasantries, can be quite scary when he finds a particular situation quite frustrating. He does not tolerate any rule-breaking and thinks that every rule-breaker must be judged according to their works, even though it is someone he knew well; he is a known and honest follower of the absolute rules of Sereitei though there are extreme moments that push him to the edges of his virtues and views. He does not engage in any form of battle as much as possible, being quite shaped by the vision and mission of the Fourth Division, though if he finds the scenario inevitable of this, he will face the opponent head-on without backing down.
  
• Biography/History: Kei Aoi, back in the human world when he was alive, was a doctor working in Karakura General Hospital. He lived a normal life: working with a decent job, able to support his parents on the way, and have a fiancée that was unlike no other. However, after one long day at work, he was shot by an unknown man and was left to die. After that, he arrived in Soul Society.
  In a short period of time, he managed to cope with the lifestyle in Soul Society though he had no memory of his past (unlike stated above). He lived in Rukongai enough for him to have a peaceful life with a pair of old couple, Keitaro and Aya, who kept him and considered him as their son. He supported his foster parents in their small business and managed to make it easier for the couple. He was contented with his new life though the missing memories haunted him from time to time.
  However, their district in Rukongai was attacked by a horde of Menos Grande. Countless lives were spent in the skirmish as the Gotei 13 acted at once and tried to control the situation as fast as they can. But despite the arrival of the defenders, the Gotei 13 failed to save Keitaro and Aya’s lives. Kei Aoi, however, did not hold this against the Gotei 13 and vowed that he will never let anyone he cares for hurt again. A common promise for everyone who were scathed by the Hollows, this did not stop Kei from entering the Shinigami Academy and pursue his newly-found goal. He did this in memory of his foster parents he dearly loved.
  
• Skills/Abilities: Kei Aoi, being trained extensively in the Fourth Division's wisdom, has great knowledge about the human anatomy and its functions. He knows great deal of healing Kido and other alternatives from operation to herb natural healing. He is also a well-accomplished swordsman.

Zanpakutou

Name: Falhannah
Appearance: Kei's was unusually short, further implying that it is not a sword but rather a wakizashi. His wakizashi has a round hilt and the sheath's color is blue with spiral designs that resemble those of the waves of the sea.
Zanpakuto Spirit: Falhannah is in the form of a beautiful woman. She wears an elegant dress. It shows her shoulders and has sleeves that are so long that they overlap her hands. She is, as most of the time, calm and relaxed. However, when drawn into battle or to a more simple argument, she becomes very serious and focused. In her view, the 'Best defense is the best offense', as she prioritizes protection of life rather than attack all threats.
Zanpakuto Spirit World: She is seen in a quiet world that looks like a huge garden. Not like a garden, but on what seems to be like in a middle of a hedge maze. She sits by a fountain in the center of the hedge maze and spends her time there. Her activities range from simply daydreaming to singing softly somewhere the area.

Shikai: (Achieved!)
Release Phrase: “Let the waves cradle us through our sorrow and the cool tides soothe all our emotions. Protect us, Falhannah.”
After Kei said the releasing phrase, his wakizashi changes and seems to turn to be like a Jian (Chinese double-edged straight sword). However, Kei's sword has no hilt and the area around the blade collar has two strange charms attached there. Though based according to the Jian, it is in fact single-edged. [Shikai]

Shikai Skills

Skills:
Ability One: Healing Dew – When this ability is activated, a small circular ‘bubble’ will form around a target. When the target is inside the confines of the skill, it will begin to heal any light to moderate type of wounds. Given the right focus from Kei, it can also cure any light poisoning from the target’s system. It is also known that while Kei is using this ability, he is unable to move or use any other skill.
Ability Two: Confinement Bubble – When this skill is activated, Kei will conjure a barrier around a certain target in the form of a small circular confinement. In it, the target will have difficulty in escaping as long as Kei focuses on the skill; shattering the bubble is also possible, considering the reiatsu required to override the creator’s own.
Ability Three: Pressure Burst – It is used as a combination attack with “Confinement Bubble”. Using the reiatsu around the barrier that was used to form the Confinement Bubble, Kei can trigger the bubble to explode therefore causing moderate/heavy damage for the target that is inside the confines of the skill. Overusing this skill can lead to simple headache for Kei to severe blood loss.
Ability Four: Cascade Aegis – It is a skill that can be activated if there is water around Kei. Using the water around Kei, he can form some sort of armor that will protect him from moderate/heavy Kido-based attack to light physical banes. When it is activated, it will resume as a water figure that will continuously surround Kei until the skill is dispelled. Whenever a potential attack approaches the creator, it will block it and protect Kei from its threat.
Ability Five: Streamline Banes – When this skill is activated, Kei will have the ability manipulate water in the area and use it as a weapon. The skill can send thin strips of water at a certain target at extreme speed, acting like a spear thrown in the air or a bullet shot. Depending on the reiatsu released by Kei, its strength varies from bullet-like damage to a rock thrown in the air. Also, if used with tremendous amounts of reiatsu, its width also changes and may cause heavier damage.

Bankai: (Not yet achieved)
Release Phrase: “Bankai. Falhannah Dué.”
When the release phrase is said, Kei's sword dissolves and turns into water. But instead of gushing downwards, it will continue to float around him. It is then at that time his clothing changes into something besides the common Shinigami uniform. Kei hates it for being so 'girly' that's why he does not want anyone seeing him in his Bankai-mode. His Zanpakuto, however, loves it. [Bankai-mode Appearance]

Bankai Skills

Skills:
Ability One: Three-Coral Supreme Barrier – When this skill is activated, it will conjure three corals around the area within the limits of the target pointed by Kei. When positioned perfectly, which takes a triangular positioning; it will then create a pyramid-shaped barrier around the target. The barrier is capable of repelling heavy Kido-based attacks and moderate physical attacks from the outside. The skill, however, is not as strong coming from the inside and will break easily.
Ability Two: Shatter Cube – Functioning as an offensive attack, this is Kei’s main form of skill used against targets. When this skill is activated, it will enclose an enemy inside a huge cube which will render the target immobile, being bound by Kei’s reiatsu whilst inside its confines. It is also in an instant that Kei will send four long watery spears striking the cube much like in a magician’s trick thus causing the target to get hit inside and causing the cube to shatter. Due to the skill being destroyed by the spears, it will take a moment for Kei to use the skill again.
Ability Three: Five-Sided Aqueous Walls – It is a weaker form of the skill “Cascade Aegis”. Kei will be surrounded by five five-sided barriers that will continuously protect him while he is in movement. It is weaker it terms of defense but has the advantage of countering banes struck at Kei. The barriers are strong enough to slice a Menos in half and may mutilate an Arrancar-level Hollow in several strikes. Like the rest of Kei’s barriers, it can also be shattered.
Ability Four: Eight Heavenly Waterfall Pillars – Using an overwhelming amount of reiatsu, Kei can conjure one of his strongest skills in his Bankai form. The Eight Pillars causes the area around Kei to explode pieces by summoning a series of strong bursts of reiatsu in the form of huge waterfalls. However, instead of falling, the waterfall will come from the ground and attack everything around it much like a geyser. The skill commonly forms an octagon-shaped positioning around Kei regardless of area, even those without water.
Ability Five: Ten Sacred Tridents – Kei’s strongest attack in his Bankai form, it consumes the most reiatsu among his skills. When this skill is used, Kei gains the ability to conjure ten ten-feet long tridents that will continuously surround him until they are all used. Kei can send a trident at a target with extreme speed and make an overwhelming explosion that destroys everything around its 10m radius. Not only does it create a massive explosion around the area, it can also freeze everything around it in an instant.

Bakudo (Binding Spells)

#1 Sai (Restrain): Locks a targets in place behind their back.
#4 Hainawa (Crawling Rope): An energy rope entangles the targets arms.
#8 Seki (Repulse): Creates a round shield that temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.
#9 Geki (Strike): Engulfs the target in red light, completely paralyzing them.
#9 Horin (Disintegrating Circle): Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target.
#21 Sekeinton (Red Smoke Escape):Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb.
#26 Kyokko (Curved Light): Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.
#30 Shitotsu Sansen (Beak-Piercing Triple Beam): Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of an equilateral triangle.
#37 Tsuriboshi (Suspending Star): Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of spirit particles. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net.

Hado (Destructive Spells)

#1 Sho (Thrust): Pushes the target away from the caster.
#4 Byakurai (Pale Lightning): The user fires a concentrated lightning bolt from their finger.
