Wild's Mini Hiring Thread!OPEN! Hey there, all of you! As you can tell, Wild has been a bit slow lately, so I'm looking to hire a few new peeps! The amount of interest and action going on in the shop surprised me thoroughly, and the amount of staff I hired turned out to be too few. So, I'd like to find a couple of trustworthy people to add to our lovely crew!
What we need:
>Certist--Needs Photoshop CS2 or CS3, I think, to open the cert file (must also be able to download text files). The cert file is actually different than it actually appears, because I changed it a little to fit my old PS. It will be normal when you open it in your program.
>Colorist--The biggest requirement here is that you are able to completely DRAW the lineart of each new horse. Each pet here is unique, so there is no set lineart.
-Must also have a slight knowlege of horse anatomy, history, and breeds.
-Any coloring program is fine, as long as you can produce good pets. (Sorry, no MS Paint, tho. )
Hired--Darkmoon Dancer.
A part-timer may also be hired, but this is it for now.
>Owner's List Updater-- Just need to be responsible and reliable. You can update the OL however you want, just as long as it's organized. Payment will either be a new custom every six months or 5k every month (Cuz c'mon, how hard is it really?).
This hiring round has no end. I will simply hire someone when I think that they meet my requirements.

What Position are you Applying for?: Certist
What coloring program do you use?: GIMP (and yes I know people say certing on GIMP is a pain but I can make these templates work easily)
Any past experience?: I work as a colorit at Lyria..and have helped keep thier raffle lists/events and such running well
Examples: I can make one using Cass if you'd like
About how many horses a month do you think you can color?: [colorist only]
How often are you on Gaia?: Everyday
Are you responsible?: I like to think so =-)
How can you help this shop for the better? And why do you choose this shop?: I love the art..and the people in this community are nice, also I enjoy the RP aspect.

What Position are you Applying for?: Colorist and OL Updater! (Being both would be easy as then I would already be keeping track of a bunch of the mustangs)
What coloring program do you use?: GIMP
Any past experience?: Yes, lots. I've colored in a bunch of stores, made lineart to sell, draw in my spare time, but right now I color at: Nequus and Plains of Saighneian

About how many horses a month do you think you can color?: Just color... easily 10. But the entire process... 4 for sure. More if I've got lots of spare time.
(4 is the number I'm giving to be safe, but I'm sure I can do more than that in any normal month).
How often are you on Gaia?: Everyday, for a few hours, unless work takes me over, but then definitely every other day
Are you responsible?: Yes, of course! I'm a little OCD, so I'm very organized and detailed and never hand out my work unless I'M completely happy with it.
How can you help this shop for the better? And why do you choose this shop?: I am a fun, energetic person who loves to draw, and I think that I will be able to contribute to the positive atmosphere in this shop, even if it only means keeping the Owner's list up-to-date.
I chose this shop because I think it is something that I can be inspired by and stay interested in, and because the people there are fun and happy.

What coloring program do you use?: [only for certist and colorist]
Any past experience?: None within a B/C shop, however I used to run a guild in WoW and know what it takes to organize lists, events and keep track of multiple things.

About how many horses a month do you think you can color?: [colorist only]
How often are you on Gaia?: Sadly I’m on about 8 hours a day, maybe more. Not every minute of those 8 hours, but yes I am on pretty much all the time.
Are you responsible?: Yes I am.
How can you help this shop for the better? And why do you choose this shop?: Well maintaining the owners list is quite important for any shop. It allows you to easily keep track of horses, owners and can help when doing RP checks as well. I can help by keeping the list up to date and organized at all times. I work with lists all the time, and I don’t mean just grocery lists either, but I am always making lists to keep track of everything in life so creating and maintaining the owners list would be like second nature to me. I choose this shop because I love the art, the people and the idea behind it. Plus how could I not want to work at a shop that gave me my beloved Thanos.

I don't want to take on too many but hopefully 1 to 3 would be enough? If theres more for events I can work on more for special times.
How often are you on Gaia?: Usually everyday in the morning
Are you responsible?: I hope I am smile I am a mom and a home maker and 31, so I hope I can be lol
How can you help this shop for the better? And why do you choose this shop?: I want to be apart of a shop that is a small and great community. As well as a place where your art becomes a character to someone.
I also can to realistic art as well and mimic your style.

Any past experience?: I'm the main certist at Turnout (I also update the owners list there)

How often are you on Gaia?: Everyday for at least 2 hours but usually more than 3
Are you responsible?: Indeed if I have a duty, I carry it out.
How can you help this shop for the better? And why do you choose this shop?: I love the concept it really draws me in and the art is beautiful. I also love RP, it has become a good pastime for me. If hired I would be looking to get a horse or two for myself and RP with the thread goers. I'm hoping to help this shop stay orderly and on track. I see that the colorists have a big job when it comes to drawing and coloring the horses so I hope to also relieve some pressure from whoever is currently certing.
