Note: As I lack the "make artwork that doesn't look like stick figures" skill, I'm sticking with Tektek for now.
Username: Miyumi Aurelis
Character Name: Miyumi
Character Age: 23 (despite not seeming the part at all)
Character Rank: Initiate
Character Skills: Light, Conjure Water/Food
Character Profile: Being a quiet person has its pros and cons. It makes moving about without notice easier, and keeps too much attention from coming your way, which is great when you're crowd-shy. Unfortunately, it also means that you rarely make waves in the pool of life. Not that Miyumi ever really wanted that kind of attention. And that's exactly why her past is rather ironic. A shy little homebody, after being suddenly gifted - or maybe cursed - with the powers of a mage, she was thrown into battles despite not liking to fight. But, somehow, she's managed to hold it together, largely in thanks to the help of her teacher and guardian. Who just happens to be a magical talking pony that can fly. Yeah, it's safe to say that Miyumi's life hasn't exactly been normal for a while. Part of why she's careful with what she says is because she doesn't want anyone thinking she's lost her marbles.
To make a very long story short, she wound up in the part of Gaia that we all know and love after a number of adventures. Having adopted the place as home since then, she joined the war effort with only a bit of hesitation, wanting to help protect the things she cared about. So it's odd that she departed before the end, citing 'something important' that she had to go do. By the time she returned, the remaining members of the Order had been forced into hiding. Concerned, she decided to search for them. There was one problem: she didn't know where they had gone. It took some searching to find them...and the use of something that she probably should have left alone. The reason's obvious: her mind's stuck inside a very different body from the one she had before the war started. On top of that, she's lost nearly all her magic. Having relied on it for so long, this leaves her in a state of uncertainty. Will she regain her abilities somehow? Is it even possible for her to change back to normal? She tries not to worry about it too much...or at least not to show that she's worried.
But even with her body playing tricks on her, Miyumi's still the type that will try to help others. Also, though she hasn't mentioned it to anyone, she truly admires the leader of the Order. Her secret hope is that her efforts might help those above her in the ranks one day, since their guidance was what inspired her most during the war. She wouldn't call herself a fan, not exactly. Then again, she does tend to refer to the group's leaders in the most respectful terms she can think of, so maybe she's more of one than she wants to admit...

Yeah, she's a cat. Why is she a cat? Well, I could tell you, but I already spent a while making this thing not take up two pages. Don't encourage me to get more verbose than I already am; it's too easy to give in to temptation!
