Does your guide include recepies?
Because that is all that I need.
And If not, then at least tell me your battle strategies.
I like to compare others' strategies with my own.

like i said anything you need and i will get back to you as soon as possible i will tell you any recipe that i can think of. or how to fight any kind of battle. and a strategy that worked for me.if you have to ask, then by all means ask right here.
(of course if i don't know of the top of my head don't feel bad if i got to go to the game itself to look it up.for recipes or creatures only. strategies are all down in my head.)
in short what do you want to know.

the thing i did with her was first off get to her (lol). then a when back tho the lev and got some of the 50hp mushrooms (i think i got 5) and other items that help me big time (like shooting stars) and when back to fight her.

when she first fight you can you can do anything to her, just fight till the "love" makes her killable( can allso get the goomber to get her info). if your weak, just try and make her miss (items or your mates moves)

after that just bash her till she dies. heal when her sttack would kill you (eg, if he hits 8s, heal at 11)

been a bit scinces i played PM no.2 but i hopw it helps mrgreen

No, haven't gotten to it yet. But I've heard about it. Combining its HP with 100 floors of enemies makes a nightmarish combo. O.O

Well, that could be just about right... stare
But it's nothing that being prepared for the worst, can't help.
If it's your FIRST time, then I suggest the following:

-So you are about to enter the Pit of 100 Trials-

Take a couple of Life Shrooms.
But first, just go all the way until You get to Level 50.
The chest will have something that you'll definitely need. Strange Sack, which lets you take up to 20 items.
After doing so, just get out and restock on items.
This time, make sure that you will do the following:

1.- You have to have helped Zess T. on her trouble and retrieve an Old Cookbook from Creepy Steeple.

2.- Once you do, try and make the following:
a. At least 4 Maple Supers and perhaps 3+ Maple Ultras(Jelly Ultras can be used instead). Boo sheets are really usefull when in danger. And try to take as many Health Items as you can, but not to many that you might have to drop some items when you're full.

3.- Make sure that you visited Merlee and Make you give you a Curse on "Special Path." Her bonuses will be a real help and will last for the entire time that you are in the pit.

4.- You HAVE to check that your stats are strong. You can have a near infinite level, but you should have a much greater HP, in comparison to FP and BP. Having balanced stats can be a great problem, especially when you enter on Level 81, which includes new pit-only enemies like the Arantulas, Spunias, Dark Bristles and tha Famous Piranha Plants, which have strong attack power and can kill you quick If they're in a pack of 4 or more. If so, then you should visit That Chet Rippo guy and make him adjust you stats.

5.- If you managed to clear the 80's section, you have a choice. You can either continue down to the final levels, or you can call it quits and go back to restock and start again, with better experience. You should open the chests that are closed.
If you choose to continue, then there is till a Silver lining. Level 90-99 have the following, though I can't really remember their stats exactly, I'll try to be precise.:
a. Bob-ulks HP-10 Att-6 Def-2
b. Elite Wizzerd HP-15 Att-8 Def-5
c. Swampire HP-20 Att-9 Def-0
d. Poison Puff HP-15 Att-9 Def-0
If you encoutered their weaker versions, then you should have an idea of what these guys might be capable of... xp

6.-If you're SPUER LUCKY, then you'll also find the rare Amazy Daisies. If you encounter one of these in battle, just go all out and use your strongest attacks and kill them in your first turn.
best way is to attack with Supernova, and follow up with Bob-om-bast. Be careful though. If you don't level up from these fights, you can't use Supernova again until you have enough starpower when you need it again.

7.- Once you complete level 99, then just wait calmly and check your stats for any final preparations.

-So you are about to Fight the Dreaded Bonetail Dragon-

You can do the following:
a. Make sure that your HP and FP are in a good condition. Starting with 50HP is BAD, especially when you'll be mostly recovering any HP that you lost every 2-3 turns.
b. Have a decent strategy from the beginning. A good way to do it quick is to start with your strongest attack from your first turns.
c. Check you badges for anything that'll help. It's a must that you should have Power stomp and Power smash with you. Charge, Charge P, Lucky Day/Pretty Lucky, Pretty Lucky P, Quick change, and some other much needed badges should be active. Other than that, you can take just about anything that you think might help.
d. Just stay calm and fight it decently. It's not like you life depended on it, so If you lose then, you can try again. But make sure that you save before entering the pit. You can reset it and start all over.
e. Bonetail Dragon: HP-200 Att-8 Def-2
He's much like the other two, except that it a zombified dragon that guards the treasure of the Pit. It's attacks are The Dragon Stomp, Its Dragon Breaths, yeah, It's got more than just one. Be careful about them though. Each breath causes a different status problem, including Poisoning Sleepiness and Confusion. Fortunately, It doesn't charge attack like Gloomtail.
But It has an ability to recover HP by 20, which make it annoying when you're about to finish it off.

Other that that, just fight it like any other enemy. When you kill it open the chest that pops up. You'll get the badge, "Return Postage," which counters half of direct attacks back at attacker.
You only got one shot against it, so make sure that you use tattle on it before you kill it, 'cause you can only fight it once, after which, the room will be empty when you return.

And pardon me for the sudden post. I haven't posted anything in a long time, especially when most of the posts are about Super Paper Mario, which I have NO KNOWLEDGE OF. That and I'm not exactly a very active member of anything but Battling on zOMG, since I'm limited to only a few hours a day...

Sure thing.
Things like these are what I like to do.
But If there's anything esle about The Pit that you would like to know, or anything else bout TTYD then just ask.
I'll try and help to the fullest extent, especially because I'm thinking of playing it all over again.
Trying to come up with even quicker ways of completing the game.
Plus getting some info on whatever one may need.
Kind of like

But yeah, I won't try and take his spot in this post. sweatdrop
