I would take the shiny for two reasons.
Uno=I can use the shiny in tourneys
Dos=I dont use legendary pokemon

The Shiny.
More rare than a Legendary.
Legendaries in my opinion are "noob" Poke'mon.
I use them up until I beat the Elite Four for the 1st time, then I dispatch them into my boxes, or give them to my little brother.
After that I play with my favorite Poke'mon/spend time getting them.

Pandemik The Shiny. More rare than a Legendary. Legendaries in my opinion are "noob" Poke'mon. I agree. They are to over powered and level up pretty fast. I though try not to use them to bet the elite 4

Legendaries began getting un-cool once everyone started cheating for them I guess, and getting a shiny has more 'sentimental' meaning than getting a legend bc legends are guaranteed, most of the time, while shinys (legit) are really hard to get.

I would choose Shinies
they're much more rare than Legendaries in my opinion
and once you find a Shiny, you get all excited
well thats how I got when I saw a Shiny Poochyena xD

I get more excited when I see a shiny than when I see a legendary. I remember when I saw a shiny silccon, I was soooo excited I couldn't stay still (I know, sad...) I like collecting legendaries, but they always collect dust. Unless it's a shiny legendary.... I WANT THAT!
