Did anybody else play and like Xenosaga? I'm playing the second game now, just got it for 20 buck-a-roonies. Anyway I know ALOT of people didn't because of the loooooooooooooooong cutscenes. I happen to one of the few/the only person who does like it. I think the game is very purdy and I like the story. I kinda like the fact that its more watching a movie interspursed with gameplay. Makes it unique. 3nodding

I never finished it. but I didn't like the cutscenes. I felt if I was going to spend 70+ hours playing a game, the majority of that time should be spent actually playing it.

I tried playing that game once but I got really bored with it really fast for some reason I forgot why.

I LOVED Xenosaga. Stuck on the 2nd one right now.
I loved the long cutscenes. The graphics were AMAZING.
The story...
AMAZING.
The circle instead of X....
NOT AMAZING. Whenever I would play Xenosaga for a long time and then switch to another game, I'd get all frustrated because I'd keep pressing circle instead of X....
The whole shbang....
AMAZING...

nya, the characters looked cool but there were to many movie scenes.
it was boring for me,no offense to the people who like it.

Yeah, I did like it. I rented the first one, and I was going to buy it, but the copy I rented screwed up, at that part near the first where KOS-MOS pulls out her machine gun or whatever it was she had.

The game seemed interesting and the battles were fun, but the cut scenes got annoying. For every 10 minutes of game play you got 30 minutes of cut scene. I thought it would have made a better anime or CGI video than a game.

I guess it's an aquired taste. Personally I love 'em. heart
Wouldn't be the same without the long cut-scenes. Plus if they were shorter, the story would be far less enthralling, and the story is the best aspect of Xeno IMO.

But then, I'm a big fan of Xenogears, even during the parts where you get massive story input. 3nodding

yah I'm one of those ppl you can add to the not liking that game list because of hte long cutscenes lol I mean I thought hte game was GREAT but it was like playing a choose your own story movie lol. I liked the game I just wish I could play more of it rather then watching it.
Like yes have the cut scene's there to lead into the next game play action but short pieces would be nice. however it was a really cool concept even if it was some what annoying lol.
