Alpha image here Things were slowly settling in the modest territory he and his family had at their behest. The large group that had come with him that night were as loyal as the vows they had taken, and Fantasia just knew that fate had allowed it to be so out of kindness - he was right to have assumed that he and his kin were blessed. And who knew, perhaps more would soon come to The Order, all as bright-eyed and willing as the current group that now slept. Serious as he was, Fanta held within him a terribly idealistic view of the future - where all flourished and evil would be conquered and put away like a forgotten nightmare.
It was early morning, and the newly grown adult found that he was itching to take a walk. Let the crisp air clear his mind for the day's business . . . He padded silently out of the rose-filled den so as not to wake his sister and swerved to begin pacing the outer edges. Hmm . . . Now he would have to consider assigning the higher positions, the job of making sure all were comfortable (and qualified in some cases) for the position they would hold. But there were many faces, many temperaments . . . ah, but he had the time. The confidence, the correct judgement, the will? Hopefully. Fantasia took in a deep breath of fresh air and watched as the exhalation produced a thin fog that rose into nothingness of twilight before-sun, enjoying a moment of peace.

The sun warmed Numair as he wandered along the new fallen leaves. It was the beginning of so many things for him, the beginning of fall, the beginning of so many tales waiting to grow. His mind had been filled with many things lately, but most of them revolved around keeping his alpha’s happy. Something else has crawled into the back of his mind… a girl he had met around this time a year prior, the color of the sky right before it allowed its clouds to turn black and shed their tears. For the wolf… this marked his coming to age.
Numair allowed himself little time to be awkward with the growth spurt, the odd territorial feeling he was getting often now. If anything, he tried to pick up for strangeness he was eluding. Numair did most of his tasks with as much accuracy as possible, even if he was barely growing into his paws and found himself a bit clumsy. All he could hope was that it was enough to please his Alpha’s.

In the quiet he heard the rustle of leaves, and a scent wafted to him. Fantasia was still learning the temperaments, the names, the histories of the Rose members, and thus it took him a moment to recognize Numair's individual scent from the soft fragrence of roses and other plants. The spotted adolescent was special in that he was the only one of his age at the camp currently, and the fact that he had proceeded to swear fealty to Fantasia, Terabithia, and their pack with the permission of his father was a strange commodity that Fantasia thanked. He was also quite a hard worker to boot.
Fantasia padded after the scent, catching sight of the youth before long. Perhaps he was not the only one that enjoyed early mornign walks in the cold. "Hail, Numair," he greeted, "and good morn. Are you up on border patrol already?"

The young wolf started, blinking before lowering his head to his forepaws, answering his Alpha’s question from his position, not quite sure of how it was he should address someone of such a higher rank then himself. “Forgive me, Fantasia, I did not see you coming. I’m up because couldn’t sleep. I was leaving early to my post in hope someone else would be awake and provide company.”
Shaking himself Numair remained in that position, head on his paws, haunches in the air in somewhat of a wolfey bow to his superior. He felt silly, like he was rambling just to fill in the air between them, because silence he feared. His father was always silent when he was upset so it was only natural that Numair felt that silence equaled ill feelings.

Couldn't sleep, huh? Probably out of eagerness to please, a notion that was still hard to grasp at times for hte young alpha; sometimes in the morning hours Fantasia's mind still refused to comprehend that he was a leader of this organization. He chuckled. "Rise, Numair, and be at ease. I can accompany you; I've little business to do today beyond enjoying the scenery, and now comes the time that I must get to know my comrads. You being the youngest, I must say that I have curiosities about your story." He indicated for them to continue moving together and began to walk at a leisurely pace. The sun was beginning to break the horizon at last, turning the sky pink with its long-reaching fingers. "Allow me some questions if you will as we walk. For instance, what of your family? Are they near?"

Turning his head to the sky the young wolf smiled, rising as he was told to, still with his head lowered respectively. "It is a pleasure to be in your company Alpha." Nu responded immediately, closing his mouth and looking into the trees as he walked along side hsi alpha. The sun warmed his pelt but he couldn't say he really welcomed it... for the sun always gave away ones position far too easily. "My parents live far away sir, I had only heard wind of such a pack even coming into being, but I knew I had to come. Father, though disappointed that I felt I had to leave, approved... and understood that I had to follow my heart and go to where I could serve a better purpose."My mother... I did not tell, I left that pain to my father ad left before the others awoke.
A cowards choice if I may say so myself. One day I will make amends, but that will not be for some time yet. The journey was difficult for we lived by the old waterfall quite a distance away and I had to make it on my own, but I felt it was a quest that one should take alone." Numair quieted, unsure if so much a response was required, but going over it in his head, he found he would change nothing he said. He looked up at his Alpha with a sideways glance, curious as to what he would think of such a story.
