It had been a nice enough moment by himself until he felt the entirety of his lungs being rammed into from the side. He let out an instinctive yelp, then went right into a hiss. Spidering to the side, Tamu saw the large lump of pastel fur that had rammed into him. His claws were extended, and he definitely expected the worst. His grandmother had always stressed heavily that he never be alone, never let his guard down. It was her constant nagging that drove him to always disobey, and he found it quite unfortunate that he be proved wrong in this instant.
Not wanting to accept that fact, he flicked his ears up, and closed his mouth. Slowly, he inched forward, tail flattened on the ground. Carefully, he eyed the creature from a safe distance.

Uru x Mojito : Party Animals
Reply Still devoutly following the butterfly, Uru inched closer to the older dog, his light body vaguely coming into sight. She thought little of it, his green blending with the grass, and the rest of his body becoming a ghost in Uru's eyes. It was a wonder, then, when the butterfly landed on what seemed to be nothing. Uru stopped dead in her tracks, blinking a few times to try and figure out why the butterfly had stopped. Her vision clearing, her brown eyes widened a little as the full figure of the adult dog came into view. She gazed up at him, a broad smile spreading across her maw. "You've got a butterfly on your nose." She stated the obvious, reaching one paw up to try and swat at the little insect, but was far too small to actually reach it. "I bet it thinks you're pretty." Uru was merely taking observations she had made about butterflies liking flowers and comparing. Though, looking him over, he was rather pretty. "Butterflies would never land on me." She looked down at her dark coat. "'Cause I look like mud." She grinned, giggling at the thought.

Reply Thal: It coudln't have been a better day if he'd designed it himself. The setting sun bathed the pride's territory in a divine golden light, glittering off the surface of the water and flowing through the sea of grass. Rushil stretched his paws over his head, claws stretching out for the sun as his back and shoulders pulled forward. With a contented yawn, he rolled himself over and stretched his hind quarters out. Dusk, the perfect time of day. Soon the ladies would leave to hunt. Soon after that- dinner. Po: Sitting contently on a large rock, Jinan's ground-colored eyes stared at the sun with an immense feeling of pride. She glanced back down her side, feeling lucky to have the gorgeous look of the sun hiding behind mountains on her pelt. At both points of the day when the sun peeked out over the horizon, Jinan made a point to find this rock and look out. For a few moments, her eyes glanced down, and she was quite shocked by what she saw- it was a boy. She had always tried so hard to avoid boys, so she wouldn't ruin herself for her future Pad, but she hadn't seen this one. Swallowing, she rose to her paws, ready to walk away and avoid this one, just like the rest, but she felt a small tug that told her to stay. A little shakey at first, she felt her way down from the rock and trotted over to the boy, not knowing at all what she was planning on doing. Thal: Rushil's ear perked. A soft pad of paws against dry grass announced an incoming intruder. Lifting his brow, he turned his head. Bright eyes leveled on the small form loping his way. He slowly brought a paw up to shield the sun away from his eyes. After a moment he sat himself upright, eyes going wide. A female. A....weird looking female. Certainly not a lion- she was much smaller than his sisters, her waist seemed to draw up dramatically more as well. It wasn't unpleasant- just different. Po: Jinan could feel her heart beat in her ears. She had avoided boys ever since she could walk, so she had no idea what she was supposed to do or say. She just knew how to treat the adults in the pride, so maybe that was the best approach? She felt so lost on the idea. She was just a few feet away from him now, and she came to a slow stop. "H-hello." Her voice was very soft and quiet, and she dipped her head as she greeted him. "My name is...Jinan." Her eyes flicked up, and she could barely keep her nerves under control. Tail flicking, she brought her head up, and she let her eyes drift over the boy that sat in front of her. He was dark, but the spots looked like little clouds.

Tamu x Kivuli : A Time and a PlaceReply He had wandered far enough away, taken too many steps. Tamu had grown tired of wandering around, searching for his light in what had become such a broken world. His love had ventured off, had a litter of her own, and was happy. She had no idea how he felt, and it was, honestly, better off that way. If she knew, she'd only worry about him, and that's the last thing her wanted. For now, he had settled on a new home, far from his old family den was. He had met the queen of this new pride, and she made it sound like such an escape from what his life had previous been. And as far as Tamu was concerned, it was. His family was splitting, and he wanted to be away from it, to start his own life. Slinking along, Tamu almost floated through the grass. It was twilight, and the cool air felt amazing on his soft coat. He couldn't think of anywhere else he'd rather be, but when he thought about it, he really didn't know many of his pride members. He had been delayed following the King and Queen to the lands, needing to tidy up some unfinished business at his home. By the time he came to the lands, he darted along the outskirts of them, feeling hesitant to start in his new life. It was probably the big change that scared him, but he was learning to adjust. Slowly.

Usually, she just dueled rogues that wanted to join, just like she had done so long ago. But with the other female facing her, she felt a certain swelling of joy in the pit of her stomach. She loved to fight, it's something she had grown up doing, but her small stature had always kept others from wanting to fight her. Smiling sweetly, Kai didn't really understand the apparent anger of the other female.
