[Initiating a Battle]

1) Start a thread. The title MUST have "Your username vs. Your opponent's username"

2) The front page of your thread should have the image of your pokétoy and your opponent's pokétoy plus any add-on items you plan to use

3) The person who created the thread now makes another post and rolls a 20-sided dice.

4) The opponent rolls a 20-sided dice as well

5) See who has the highest number. That person wins for that round

6) Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 two more times. Whoever wins 2/3 rounds will be victorious. Also, if one person wins 2 rounds straight, you still have to play the third round.

7) You get points for each battle depending on how much you won/lost!
COMPLETE VICTORY (3-0): 2 points to victor, .25 points to loser
VICTORY! (2-1 or 2-a tie): 1 point to victor .25 points to loser
A CLOSE TIE?! (2 ties, 1 win) 2 point to victor, 1 point to the loser
A COMPLETE TIE?! (1 tie, 1 win, 1 loss): 1 point to the victor, 1 point to the loser
HOLY CRAP WTF TIE (3 ties): 3 points to both players

8 ) The victor will post what kind of victory they won (Look above)

9) Change the thread title to [Finished] so that it can be tallied and moved to the finished battles subforum

+ YOU BETTER NOT CHEAT ON THESE THINGS BY DELETING POSTS. The guilds have activity logs. If I catch you deleting posts on battle threads for ANY REASON, the battle will not be counted and you will be given a warning.

+ If you amass 3 warnings, you are banned from this event

+ You CAN initiate multiple battles with the same person, but please don't battle the same person twice in a row.

+ YOU INITIATE BATTLE THREADS IN THIS SUBFORUM PLEASE heart

[The Fancy Wind-up Key]

+ You may obtain this shiny item from the shop although it may be slightly costly

+ You may choose to use this item in battle by putting it on the first post of the battle thread

+ Once you own this item, you can use it as many times as you want for as many battles as you want

+ YOU MAY CHOOSE NOT TO USE THIS ITEM IN SOME BATTLES. Just put it on the front page of the battle thread next to your pogeytoy if you decide to use it or don't if you don't want to use it

+ If you use the fancy key, you roll 2 12-sided dice instead of a 20-sided dice, giving you a slight edge on competition ;D

This lovely rare color variation piplup will be raffled off for the second part of the winter event! And not in a typical ticket-purchasing method, because that's so typical and boring.
NEW! Due to some kind Christmas generosity, Tris has donated his pidgeot to be given out as well!

+ I will compile a list of battles that are conducted for the second part of the winter event. Each battle is essentially one ticket

+ At the end of the event, January 2nd, or perhaps a bit later if it takes slightly longer to tally up the battles, the piplup will be raffled off. Please be patient with FFN because her finals start in January >>;

+ After one battle is selected from the raffle, I will random generate between number 1 and 2.
1 = person who set up the thread gets first choice
2 = the other person who is battling gets first choice

So battle as much as you can to get a chance at this lovely ;D <3
