A Hunter is a woman of the army. She is usually outfitted it plain clothing, but not permitted into the thick of battle. She usually fights on the outer ranges of combat, hand to hand with her opponents' weaker soldiers. She, as her name refers, also hunts wild fauna to provide her people with meals.
Only Frost Centaurs and Syrens may be hunters. This profession is reserved for women only. (Syrens eat meat raw, but Frost Centaurs must be able to give their prey to a Cuisinier.)
Hunters dedicate themselves completely to their specialization.
To become a hunter, one must be swift and cunning, and be regarded highly enough to surpass the barriers of gender to be accepted as part of an army. Syrens rarely fight, as the Dark Races seldom form alliances.
