Disgusting. A shivering girl stood in front of her along with two guys at Serandite's feet. One was unconscious, the other laid there, a dirty hand gripping Serandite's ankle.
"How.. How were we beaten by a girl----" A flat heel promptly rammed into his hand, digging her heel, causing the man to cry out in pain. "Don't make this humiliation by a little girl and a bunny worse for yourself." Serandite grinned, quite sure she was crushing some fingers while she was grinding her heel in. He seemed to collapse from the pain shortly later, the college girl was curled in a frightened pose in front of Serandite. She seemed to be torn between thanking Serandite or labeling this girl as a threat.Afterall, how could a normal girl clutching a bunny knock out two men? Granted, they didn't have weapons but still.. She wasn't normal.
Serandite had been on top of a rooftop until some attention caught her eye. There had been two men trying to rape a girl below but that rape attempt had ended shortly when Loppy, her bunny, landed on them to neatly knock them out. But her motives hadn't been anything good, like saving her and all that. Nope, it just seemed like this girl might have a nice bright starseed inside of her.
"Oh, don't thank me yet. I'm not here to save you, after all. You can thank me when I take that starseed inside of you." Regular humans were so easy to steal starseeds from-- Like taking candy from a baby. Her hand plunged into the girl's chest, a look of horror and panic crossed the civilian's expression.

Nemesis was, for the time being, avidly avoiding this whole 'group-thing' idea. The only person on the proposed team that she could stand was Lyra, and the others she hadn't exactly bothered to get to know yet. Nemesis was doing fine on her own, had always managed to do well enough without someone backing her up. She had held her own against youma and negaverse agents alike. Nemesis wasn't some push-over who needed back-up. So, she wasn't partnering up tonight, just patrolling lazily on her own. Thank god for weekends, it was the only time she could actually do some good patrolling.
Kill some youma.
Maybe beat in a negaverser's head in.
Yeah, that sounded like her kind of evening.
Nemesis adjusted one of her gloves as she dodged through the alleyways. It was just easier now to hide herself while patrolling. It caused too much trouble if she walked down main street in her fuku proclaiming that she was here to save the day (though she swore to god that if she EVER did that, aliens had probed her brain and had switched her personality around). Nemesis shuddered visibly at the thought, her lips pulling down into an ugly little grimace.
It was as she made this expression that she happened upon an... unusual scene. Some little girl holding herself triumphant over full grown men... Yeah, something wasn't right here.
'You can thank me when I take that starseed inside of you.'
Oh yeeaah, definitely nothing right going on around these parts. Something bad. A good excuse for Nemesis to kick a** (and save the day while kicking a**, glory be!). It was time to make her entrance, in that stereotypically senshi way. "I don't think you'll have the chance to take their starseeds, brat," she announced as she rounded the alleyway corner. "Because in the name of Nemesis, I will break you apart, piece by piece, to prevent you from doing that!"
Oh, tonight was going to be great. Beating up some cute little s**t who thought she was big and bad would be just the picker-upper Nemesis needed.

Someone had the nerve to interrupt her fight? By now, Serandite knew it wasn't some silly civilian. It had to be some-- oh god, it was a wordy senshi. Serandite had it up to here with their long speeches! Nevermind that this scout's one was significantly shorter than some others but THAT WASNT THE POINT. Serandite was getting quite tired of her parties being crashed by senshi consistently.
"Nemesis this time? I suppose I'll introduce myself. Lieutenant Serandite at your service." She paused before continuing on with an aggravated sigh and a yawn followed shortly after. "Honestly, I have the worst luck to be coming across another damned senshi. And brat? Really, brat? I do wonder if you're up for the task of versing a cutie like me?" She turned as she said these words, her hand leaving the warmth of the girl's chest. She left the starseed there.. for now.
She took a closer look at Nemesis now, eyes scanning curiously as if taking the image of Nemesis in. She was quite the.. depressing girl. Skulls. Skulls. Hm. By now, their brooch or design yelled out their sphere of powers. Most of the time. (Like Flora.) But skulls.. Was she going to turn Serandite into a skull or something? How baffling. Skulls. What could she possibly do?

Just because she made her own introduction didn't mean she wanted to listen to this kid's own. Nemesis folded her arms across her chest, looking generally annoyed at the whole situation, though in reality she was very, very happy with the opportunity to fight something. It had been a while since she had tangoed with a lieutenant, long enough that urge to kick some of her senshi 'buddies' had grown stronger. There was no other way to abate the urge than digging her hands into a fight with something else.
"I won't be needing your services, unless you're implying that you'll lay down and die already?" Her blue eyes flashed with impatience, and she unfurled her arms from across her chest, hands bunching into fists, knees bending in preparation for an attack. Nemesis wouldn't use her power, not yet. It was one of those last resort sort of things, since it only seemed to work once, and if she needed to run away, it was a handy ability to have.
It was so much easier to make a sleek escape when your opponent couldn't move. "I think I am, especially if I get a chance to disfigure your face. C'mon, brat, if you want those starseeds you'll have to beat me." And she was no human push-over.

"I'm afraid you'll have to settle for some of my other services instead." Serandite replied, her tone mockingly disappointed, a hand gesturing helplessly. She watched in an amused gesture as Nemesis readied her battle stance while Serandite stood there, leaning against the wall, watching with mild interest.
"Oh, you're quite the catty senshi, aren't you? I wouldn't want my gorgeous face to be ruined by someone like you." Wasn't senshi supposed to you know-- give off good vibes? That goody goody "I'll rescue you!" vibe? Because Nemesis certainly didnt. In fact, she gave off the "Get near me and I'll scratch your eyes out" vibe. Serandite stepped forward with a flourish of her hands, her large bunny loomed behind her as well with it's menacing expression. It stared down at Nemesis with it's "X" eyes, a large paw lifted and immediately traveled downwards as if to slam the senshi into the ground.
Serandite gave no indication verbally that she was starting the battle but one could see by her sparkling eyes, she was itching for a battle just as much as Nemesis was. After all, it had been a good long while since her last fight with Flora and Pegasus.

Maybe some inner goodness would have made her pause before attacking a girl with a stuffed bunny. But, that inner goodness was in small supply, and she wouldn't waste it on a girl who was trying to steal starseeds. The people in question didn't LOOK like the purest of souls, but in the end, their starseeds were their own, and only they could do as they pleased with them. This brat wouldn't be allowed to touch them, not while Nemesis was in the area. She may seem like she hated MOST of the world, but she liked it enough to try and protect the people in it. Did she always succeed? No. But she tried her damnedest to.
With an impatient frown, she inappropriately flicked Serandite off. Yeah, she wasn't so much in the mood for talking right now. It was time to get to the nitty gritty - time to push Serandite's face into the gravelly ground. "You better be praying you make it out of this in one piece," she growled shortly, and hardly hesitated before making her attack. She would store her power for later, for when she needed it. Right now, she didn't think she needed it to beat up this brat. Digging her heels into the ground, she launched herself at the pink-haired girl, swinging a fist obviously for Serandite's face.
Nemesis had a thing for trying to smash in someone's face, maybe because her face had been the target so often. She didn't really know, she just didn't like Serandite's face, so it was time to make it go away.

Flicking her off? What an incredibly rude girl! She didn't have time to reply as Nemesis immediately launched what seemed to be, a painful punch to Serandite's face. Apparently, her bunny had missed. Serandite had expected as much, after seeing Nemesis's attack stance. She turned her head to the side, executing a perfect leap over Nemesis's head, onto her stuffed bunny, and landing on the other side. Unfortunately, her reflexes hadn't been all that quick, her ear had been cuffed painfully in the process.
Immediately following afterwards, she made a quick spinning motion with her entire body, arms swinging around her widely. Her bunny did the same, large paws spinning in an attempt to either hit Nemesis or force the senshi to keep her distance from the heavy stuffed paws that guaranteed to at least bruise the other.
Ow ow ow. Her ear hurt. Could her ears even get swollen?

Sadly, Nemesis still had a ways to go if she wanted to accurately hit her opponents. Instead of Serandite's face caving in to the force of her fist, Nemesis managed to clog the brat just barely on the ear. Something was better than nothing, though, if only a little. Nemesis would have to put herself through target practice, because she hated missing. It made her curse vehemently, made her mad, and when this happened her fighting tended to get... less controlled, and she missed her target more often.
Sucking in a breath to calm herself, Nemesis turned again, ready to face Serandite with just a little bit more deadly attention. While she did turn around in time to see the human-sized bunny swinging a paw at her, she didn't quite have enough time to get out of the way. She tried to step back, tried to narrowly avoid the attack, but the paw caught her side, forcing her stumble awkwardly. "OUCH, that ******** hurt. ********. HURT." She... said that out loud, didn't she? Yeahp. ******** it, now that bunny really was dead... stuffing and fur.
She was going to pluck it's eyes out. It was just a threatening thought playing in her head, but for some reason she was acting on it, attacking the bunny instead of the girl CONTROLLING the bunny.
Nemesis didn't always act on logic.

Serandite's eyes concentrated on the senshi as the senshi stumbled back, a wave of satisfaction washing over her as she realized she had gotten a hit on that nasty vulgar senshi.
Oh. Oi. Oy. She was attacking the bunny? What an incredibly stupid senshi. Oh wait, Castor had attacked it as well. But his attack concentrated on her AND the bunny. While Nemesis was distinctively attacking -- oh well. It worked for Serandite. But wait-- Serandite DID NOT like having her bunny all torn up and battered from Nemesis's silly punches. They might have been silly but it could still rip the fabric after all.
Loppy (the bunny's name) shook itself furiously, trying to free itself from Nemesis's tight hold and punches, a paw swiped in an attempt to free Nemesis from it's soft fabric.
"Dirty hands OFF Loppy, you dense gothic skull girl who would probably attract no guy whatsoever!" She declared, hastily trying to get the dratted senshi OFF. She had added several adjectives onto her original impression of the female but it wasnt like it was wrong adjectives. In fact, it was probably correct. She scowled, hoping to see that goth senshi fly into the distance (like team rocket!) but that wasn't humanely possible.

While attacking the bunny was immensely satisfying (much like a punching bag, rather), it wasn't exactly getting the job done. It was becoming dangerous too, with the bunny's paws swinging at her, trying to pry her away from the delicate fabric that held all that stuffing together. She might have given up on the bunny altogether if Serandite hadn't spoken up, but she had, and Nemesis eyes glinted with dark pleasure. "Your bunny is an eyesore, I was considering eliminating it altogether, and then we can really tangle, hm?" She was losing her interest in the stuffed bunny, only hanging on to her hold of it because Serandite didn't like her touching it.
If there was a way to irritate her opponents, Nemesis would go for it. It made them just as irrational as she could be at times. Nemesis called it 'evening the playing field'. She wondered how mad Serandite would be if she really DID rip off one of the bunny's eye-buttons. In fact, she made a motion to do just that again, spreading her fingers out to make her hand more into a claw than a fist. She made as if to swipe at the bunny, to claw and tear the fabric, but rather she dodged underneath the swinging of one of the stuffed animal's arms, around to Serandite.
Her hand was instead moving to claw at the negaverser's face. It seemed like she really had lost interest in the bunny.

Tangle? Did she mean physically? Oh, Serandite was no good at all physically. "I dont really do physical. Perhaps we can try another way?" Serandite said sweetly, her face soon turning to an expression of horror as Nemesis seemingly made a lethal swipe at her bunny.
But that was only a decoy. Serandite realized instinctively -- a split second too late -- that Nemesis was aiming for her face. Nemesis landed on Serandite's small form, Serandite's arms instinctively lifting to shield her beautiful but fragile face. In a panicked rush, she thought of the negaverse ability to summon and dispel their weapons at will.
Her bunny disappeared from it's position behind Nemesis and appeared in Serandite's hand. If only she could roll to being on top, she might be able to roll out of the way and have her bunny slam into Nemesis-- but for now, she had to deal with the attempted face scratching as Serandite tried to knee Nemesis. It might hurt a lot more for a guy but she was quite sure it hurt for a girl, at least somewhat, as well.

Right, she didn't expect the girl to be any good at physical combat, which was why Nemesis was gunning hard for it. Nemesis herself didn't have any special skills when it came to fighting, like karate or street-fighting. She just knew how to throw a punch, knew where to kick, what hurt the most, all gained from her own experience so far. For examples, the eyes were always a good target. Everyone panicked when someone was aiming for their eyes, it made them stupid long enough to be taken advantage of.
If only... Serandite's god-damned arms weren't in the way. She growled in frustration, trying to work her way around the limbs so she could get at the smooth skin of Serandite's face. The bunny weapon she had didn't seem to be posing any issue for the moment. It was just her... and the brat. Nemesis was determined to win, and nothing right now would deter her.
Though getting kneed between the legs ALMOST did the trick. She cursed, because while she was very lucky to not be a boy, it still wasn't pleasant to be kneed anywhere, especially between the legs. It made her unsteady, her assault wavering a second too long. In a desperate attempt she reached out to grab Serandite's hair, to have some hold of the girl before things got out of hand.

Serandite was filled with a fleeting sense of satisfaction at Nemesis's painful look but it only lasted so long. She struggled to get up and away from Nemesis's crumpled figure over her, her arms felt weak from Nemesis's blows that her arms blocked, shaking as she tried to stand up. As she stumbled to get up and away however, Nemesis's hold on her hair prevented hair from gaining some distance between violent senshi.
OH s**t OH s**t. Oh, how she hated her long beautiful hair at the moment. Pretty hair just did not come in handy. Serandite felt the need to emphasize the fact, IT DID NOT. It was incredibly painful, Serandite winced as she kept getting pulled back.
Her clothes were muddy and dirty and Serandite did not like this senshi. She was a vulgar unattractive brat who knew how to cause pain. In her confused panic, Serandite hastily tried to kick the other off. But her grip held. By now, they were in open sight, two girls (obviously terrorist from the news) fighting like two female cats thrown in a box together. Plus a bunny.
"Get away from me you ridiculously short-skirted gothic senshi!" Serandite yelled out frustratedly, tears coming to her eyes from the pain. She was not letting this stupid senshi beat her in what should clearly be labeled, a b***h-fight. She grabbed Nemesis's braids in the same manner, hoping to inflict the same pain plus some.

They were both on the dirty ground, ripping at each other's hair, trying to pull it out from the roots. It might have been the sort of cat fight young men were attracted to, except that Serandite might have made them all feel like *****. As it was, it was degenerating from an actual battle to a neighborhood kids' scuffle. Nemesis had altogether forgotten about WHY she was fighting, to protect those three adults' starseeds. Hell, she had even forgotten that she was a senshi, and thus had an actual ATTACK that could seal a victory for it.
The fight wasn't about that, it was about caving this girl's face in -- She pulled a fist back, readying to try and smash it into Serandite's face...
They had definitely caught the attention of some passer-by, whom had decided a few minutes ago to call the police. The sounds of sirens echoed in the background, and Nemesis cursed loudly. One thing that killed her urge to fight was the threat of getting caught, thrown in jail, and eventually senshi-ing down to reveal her true identity. Not good. Not ******** good. Someone was shouting at them to cut it out, and informing them that the police were on their way.
Unthinking, Nemesis pulled herself free from the other girl, hissing in pain as she left a few strands of hair behind in the other girl's hand (at least it wasn't a sizable chunk, Nemesis would have stuck around to MURDER Serandite if that had been the case). "You know what, b***h..." Right, no, there wasn't any time for that. She flicked Serandite off, and ran off in the opposite direction, to get far out of the area before the police arrived.

Serandite had also forgotten why they were fighting exactly. If she was asked, she would have said the same thing as Nemesis , probably in more refined terms. She wanted to make sure that nobody could see Nemesis's face intact ever again. Serandite flinched, readying herself for an extremely painful hit---
Serandite looked up at the cursing Nemesis, quite irate as the sirens of the police sounded in the distance. There would be no clear winner-- Serandite didnt want her face punched in but this left an even worse taste in her mouth-- the taste of an unfinished battle. Even though the two could hear the sirens loud and clear, it was quite a nice gesture to the person who warned them about the police.
She breathed a sigh of relief as Nemesis let go of her hair, a few strands of dark black hair was clutched in Serandite's small palm. Her other hand clutched her bunny, breathing hard from her encounter.
Tch. Their battle wasn't over yet.
It was a shame that she couldn't return the vulgar gesture, Nemesis ran off into the distance. Serandite scrambled upwards, prepared to do the same. They left behind whispers and speculation. Probably a few strands of hair as well.
