ok so pokemon heartgold and soul silver has this weird free item in the box called the pokewalker. heres how it works, first you trade your pokemon from soul silver or heart gold into it(its in black and white =( )then you just walk around and your pokemon gain exp. and hp. wtf is wit technology theese days? you trade them back in who knows they could evolve? but there redy for battle. bad news it might be like the gay tomoatji. wtf?wtf?wtf? ok ive seen on serebii .net (a good pokemon website) and the pokewalker is more like a more real pokemon encounter. bad part is that you may need to unlock things in the other game hg/ss, to unlock a few areas.like the pokeradar in the game hg/ss to get new pokemon, and the good ones are like 50,000 steps to get eek evil and you may only get 5 pokemon per session. and there may come a time when the pokemon wants to play a game! wtf? what if your trying to run a mile in school but wit dis in your poket? ull get in trouble. p.s. i found out about pokemon 5th gen. WTF? burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes LOOK AT MY NEXT TOPIC!

It's more or less a pedometer. It encourages kids to walk.

Erik of the PWG It's more or less a pedometer. It encourages kids to walk. Or just shake it up and down while sitting on one place. =P
But really, what's wrong with the PokéWalker? From what I've read from other people, it's pretty useful in obtaining rare Pokémon as well as giving an easy way to level up your own Pokémon. Why are you complaining about it? stare
Heck, I still have my Pokémon Pikachu 2 from when the ORIGINAL Gold and Silver came out. I had a couple of scares that I lost him, but he always managed to come back to me.

It sounds like a great idea to me. We all know leveling up Pokemon is one of the most boring, tedious, time-consuming things ever, so I think this method provides a decent alternative....
Sadly however, some people, like me, have no life and hardly ever walk around in the first place. xD

OK look, I imported HG, and the Pokewalker is actually quite addicting. Like Nezu said, you can get rare Pokemon, like a flying Pikachu or surfing, and even thought those are hard to get in the thing, it would be very rewarding. I got 2 !!! on it yesterday, and by what I heard means you are guarantteed to get a flying/surfing one and I missed them. I didn't know how fast you had to react and I learned the hard way... crying
But don't diss the Pokewalker. I like it! ^^

I'll probably just sit there and shake it while surfing the internet, watching a video, or any of the other lazy things I do with my time.
