We most know that the embryonic heart starts beating 22 days after conception; 3 weeks and 1 day. This books gives an AT HOME abortion remedy, the books says to take 6-10 grams of ascorbic acid a day for 5-10 days. This remedy seems to have a fairly decent chance of success up through the 4th week of pregnancy.
Okay, in my opinion, a baby's life begins when it's heart first beats, that's just my view. But the article says up to the FOURTH WEEK! Okay, that baby has had a heartbeat for at least a week...
Anybody else think that if you absolutely HAVE to have an abortion, that it should be professional? What is this world coming to, at home abortions...? I believe this needs to be stopped.

I think that is just dumb. Even if I was pro-choice I won't agree to that and prefer women go to abortion clinics. Isn't that the whole point of being pro-choice, making it legal and at least a bit safer?
I think at the very least home abortions without a professional should be legal and even that is pushing it as something could go wrong.
Abortion is always going to carry some risks, legal or not (even miscarriages can cause complications if the body didn't reject all of the embryo/fetus).
The heart actually beats at five weeks but still. To me it begins was the implantation begins, even before that the cells are living but can't grown into a human being unless the fertilize egg has implanted into the uterus.
