"I know it's stupid." Eve said. It was strange how Rea didn't really seem to be shocked by what she had just said, and she was mildly disappointed. "I know it's hard to believe Elzo is actually in love with one person." She had never really expected him to be one of those people to actually get serious about any girl, honestly. Eve had thought he was more of a flirtatious guy who preferred dating any pretty girl that walked past. Or at least kissed them.

"But he wants to go find her. You know as well as I do that it could be a trap. And it probably is." She was still cynical about the Negaverse. They killed. They were murderers. They summoned ugly youma which had scratched her. "He asked me to go with him, but I really couldn't do much if it did end up to be a trap. And he's probably going to go alone. By himself. He could get killed." She didn't know if she should mention the fact that he had got himself into life threatening situations before and needed to be saved by Astraea.

As usual, Rea was sitting at the window seat of their Crystal dorm, knees up, a pile of schoolbooks littering the surrounding floor and seat. Resting in her lap, an open English textbook held a notebook, pages conspicuously blank. The strawberry blonde girl tapped the eraser end of her pencil against the paper, a slightly frustrated look plastered on her features. Then again, she often seemed that way while doing homework. It was her 'I-think-this-is-pointless' face.

Blue-green eyes did not lift as she heard the doorknob turn, despite how the door squeaked a little as it opened. She did, however, look up when she heard the sound of a body flopping on the other bed, mildly surprised. That wasn't a very Eve-like thing to do. Usually she was talkative and bubbly and telling Rea what she had just done, something that Rea had actually gotten use to, and really looked forward to. Even if she was exhausted, flopping face down just didn't feel like something her roommate would do on a normal day.

In fact, she wasn't sure she had ever seen Evey like this.

Furrowing her eyebrows, Rea sat quietly for a few minutes, watching Eve with a growing sense of worry, her eyebrows furrowing a little. Something was not right -- anyone who knew Eve would know this. Evey was such a cheerful, happy person, always so full of energy. Rea didn't think anything could get her roommate down for very long. But as minutes ticked by, and with that sigh, she was sure there was something distressing her friend. Closing the book quietly, she placed it on the seat, getting up and sitting down on the side of Eve's bed, reaching out hesitantly (very hesitantly) to brush her hand through her blonde hair, pausing only as she noticed the marks on her leg. It wasn't an action she did lightly, or to just anyone. However, if anyone would understand the intention behind it, Eve would.

"You seem bothered..."

"Oh hi." Eve said, still face down, so her voice was a tad bit muffled. It was as if she hadn't noticed Rea's presence in the room, and only extended a greeting when the other had approached her. She expelled a huff, then flipped over so her face was now staring up at the ceiling, and at Rea. For a moment, her face seemed rather grim, but Eve quickly brushed that aside by remembering how she had gotten back to Crystal. It had been...an amusing ride, and she couldn't help but laugh at the memory.

Though soon, she remembered her dilemma (it wasn't really hers, but someone else's, though she considered herself involved in it) and sat up, giving Rea a look that meant 'this is serious business'. "Alright." She said, edging backwards so her back would be pressed against her pillow. "You knew Marlo right? I'm assuming you knew Elzo as well."

This was a very funny question to ask. Though it was just a guess; since when she had met the two, they had seemed pretty inseparable. It was only when Elzo became...who he was now that they seemed to grow apart. And since Rea had seemed to know Marlo when he had barged into their room, she would have known Elzo too, right?

Rea shifted back a little when Eve flipped over, giving her a little room and peered down at her curiously. At first it seemed like she was still upset, and the Marshall girl looked a little more distressed, although she did not say anything else. She wasn't one of those who was naturally good at getting people to tell her their problems. In fact, that was usually Eve. She preferred the waiting approach. If she wanted to say something, she would. In the meantime, perhaps she would appreciate the silent company.

Quirking an eyebrow at the question, she blinked, a little surprised at the question. "I do. They're... an interesting pair," She replied, remembering the time she had met the brothers. Elzo had been rather... fresh. Not necessarily a bad thing. She had thought he was the brother she would have to worry about, but after the panty-raid fiasco... well... Marlo had just better not upset Eve at prom. It was a funny question to ask though.

"Why? They haven't done anything stupid, have they?"

She said it with a hint of a threatening tone, although she kept relatively calm. They'd better not have upset her.

"That's good." Eve bobbed her head, hugging her legs to her chest. Now the three long scratches on her leg could be properly seen, and she winced, as if she had only noticed it now. It was also probably because her fingers had accidentally grazed the wound. That wasn't important now however, since hey, it would probably heal over the next few days.

"It depends on what you define as 'doing something stupid'." She said. "Like appointing himself as my knight and seemingly determined to carry me back to Crystal every single time; okay, that was only two times... but that's just...ah..." She waved a hand dismissively in the air. "Irrelevant." With that she scooted close to Rea and whispered into her ear (even though it was just both of them in alone in their dorm room).

"Elzo's a senshi."

Rea made a face, listening and nodding slowly. Yeah, that sounded like him. She hadn't met him extensively, but it was enough that she didn't doubt it was something he would do. She didn't know if she liked it or not, but she certainly didn't doubt it was something he would do. She felt a little jealous, if she were honest with herself, but the redhead pushed it away, ignoring it. It was stupid to feel jealous over something silly like that.

Continuing to nod, she glanced down at the wound again when Eve winced, glancing up and around, wondering if she still had that first aid kit. She was about to get up when Eve leaned in, and she moved a little closer, curious, tilting her head at a better angle to hear her.

'Elzo's a senshi.'

Blatant surprise was the first thing to hit her, and Rea couldn't hide the astonished look, jerking back a little to stare at Eve in bewilderment. Elzo? Flirts-a-lot Elzo? A senshi? The little hamster in the Crystal girl's head promptly stopped running, the momentum of the wheel causing it to spin around and around the still-moving wheel for a few more rotations before coming to a slow stop, swaying back and forth pathetically. And she had thought nothing could surprise her anymore. "Are you sure?" She replied a little stupidly, a surprising thing for the ever word-cautious Rea.

Eve had honestly been very amused by Elzo's antics, but then again, she was much more easy-going than Rea was. The both of them hadn't seemed to mind people giving them strange looks on the way back to Crystal Academy and simply laughed it off. They made quite a pair, really.

It wasn't exactly surprising that Rea had reacted this way upon learning that Elzo was a senshi, heck, Eve had been rather astonished too. Plus, he had kissed her without even knowing who she was, but that was immaterial. Rea didn't need to know that. Eve was positive that Rea wouldn't be very happy if she was told about that kiss, plus she had promised to keep it a secret. It also didn't really bother her much. "Yeah." She said, bobbing her head. "I was facing a youma," Rea didn't know that she had been looking for it since she had fled from it from her first encounter with the cat youma, and didn't need to, "and he saved me. Sailor Castor, Senshi of Hail."

"Explains the claw marks..." Rea mumbled, getting up to find that first aid kit, now that she had recovered from her initial shock. Her expression had shifted back to its regular polite interest, with just a hint of curiosity. Eve was right -- she probably would not have been happy if she had told her about the kiss. She wouldn't have said anything (it really was none of her business,) but as it was Eve hadn't needed to tell her at all. The more she thought about the fact that Eve had needed saving, and she hadn't been there, the more unhappy she got.

"We need communicators dammit. Walkie-talkie's, power rangers wrist watches, god dammit, anything."

Turning back to the bed, she sat back down again, taking out the antibacterial wash and a large square bandage, along with some wrapping tape. The cuts seemed to long for regular band-aids -- she'd have to kick it old school. For the first time, she wished she had taken a nursing class -- she hardly cared if her own injuries were patched well, but Eve was one of the few precious people she cared about. Dabbing a little onto some gauze, she offered it awkwardly to the blonde girl, not wanting to overstep her boundaries. Touch was weird to her, and she didn't quite yet understand where it should be as opposed to what it was.

The girl chuckled lightly. "I like that idea. If only we could teleport though. That would make things so much easier." She paused, watching Rea head to get the first aid kit. "Although you would have thought those power ranger wrist watches would be a dead giveaway. It's huge and bulky and right there on their wrists!" She threw up her arms dramatically. "But as many things we may point out about how stupid it was, it was fun to watch."

Now back on topic. She took the guaze, smiling thankfully at Rea and starting dabbing, wincing slightly as slivers of pain shot through her. "So. I don't really know how to explain this, but Castor has a problem. He wanted me to help him, but I'm no good in cold weather, and it seems like he's determined to go alone." Another wince. "He's in pretty deep trouble."

"Walkie talkies would be pretty clunky too... but I can't imagine walking into a battle with a cell phone," She offered her roomie a rare smile, settling back on the covers and watched her dab the scratches. It dampened the mood a bit, but she was relieved to see that she wasn't hurt further. She would have to remember to thank Elzo... or rather, Sailor Castor. Her mind was still reeling a little from that one. One could only imagine the don yuan-esque things he was getting into. What cheesy lines he was spitting out, probably to negaverse and senshi alike.

Rea pursed her lips comically.

Folding her arms across her chest, she gave Eve a quizzical look, tilting her head a little, overall looking a little reserved. "What kind of trouble?" She replied, a hint of skepticism in her voice. She had an inkling of where this was going. And if it wasn't going that direction, she was sure she would make it go that direction. She had no loyalties to this Sailor Castor (if anything, the two brothers owed her, for that one stunt in the library) but it was hard to say no, especially if he was Eve's friend.

"Before the battle then." Eve answered, examining the scratches on her leg with mild distaste. "Besides, even though you're carrying it on you, it kinda disappears when you transform. Maybe you could just drop it, transform, then pick it up again. But then again, it's kinda a bother, isn't it?" What if the opponent got hold of the phone and discovered who they really were? What if their parents called in the middle of the battle? There were so many possibilities, really.

"Um." Eve said, chewing her lip slightly. She knew she pretty much had to keep Elzo's secret, well, secret, but this was Rea. She trusted Rea, and if Elzo did get into trouble, Pegasus would be of much more help than Flora would be right now. "You can't tell anyone else, okay?" She glanced around surreptitiously, as if afraid that someone (or rather, a specific guardian cat) would pop up. "You can't tell Astraea. She would practically murder him."

The Marshall girl crinkled her nose in response, nodding. "It would be a pain. And a danger. You're right," she replied, sounding the least bit disappointed, but only slightly. It had been a joke, really. Power rangers? She could practically hear that beeping in her head from the memories of her childhood. ... truth be told, she never really cared for the show that much. It was funny -- in a way, they kind of were power rangers. Pretty suited sailor power rangers. They even had colors. For a second, Rea considered this, if merely for the hilarity of it. Would Eve be green? No, pink suited her better. And she guessed she would be blue. Although the blue one had been kind of lame, if she remembered correctly.

This was ridiculous.

Shaking the silly thoughts away, she quirked an eyebrow when Eve said she couldn't tell Astraea, bewildered but somewhat amused. Again, Rea cracked an uncharacteristic smile.

"Who would I tell?"

The answer to that question was pretty obvious. She didn't really know anyone well enough to tell, and certainly felt no loyalty towards much of anyone, not even Astraea. Charys would be the only one she really could tell, and if Eve told her not to, well, that was that. There would be no telling of the secret. Whatever the secret was.

"Just making sure." Eve said, managing to give Rea a weak smile. Now that they were back on track of what they wanted to discuss, the reminder of it bothered her. She could still remember that look in Elzo's eyes when he talked about it; he was caught in a situation that he didn't know what to do. And honestly, she herself didn't even know if the way he was attempting to solve it would result in a decent outcome. She didn't know, but she had a bad feeling about it.

"Basically, he met this Negaverse girl called Linarite; I don't know if you've met her, and instead of fighting, they talked." Which actually wasn't that hard to believe, considering that Flora and Serandite had practically done the same before they fought; though that consisted mainly about envying each other's fashion sense. "And he...think he's in love with her." The bombshell was dropped and Eve waited, watching Rea with large eyes for her reaction. She honestly didn't know what to anticipate.

Well. This was not at all what she has expected. She had expected something along the lines of physically helping him, to help squash some nega-scum who was trying to hurt him. Eve had a big heart that way. She had not, however, expected this at all. Rea was the last person she herself would have come to for advice in general, much less love advice.

Giving Eve an even look, she jerked her head gently to brush a strand of hair out of her eyes, thinking. Reserving judgment. It was what she was best at. Which... wasn't much, but it was enough, in this situation. Taking in a slow breath, she let it out just as evenly, leaning back against the wall for support, eying Eve quietly.

"What would you like me to do?"

It wasn't a rejection. In fact, it was more of an acceptance than a no. If she was asking what the blonde girl wanted her to do, than it meant she was probably going to do it. And if she had no ideas, then they'd have to play it by ear. But it was obvious that Eve was bothered by this, and cared about what happened to Elzo. So that was that.
