Crossroads of the West gun show at the Orange County Fairgrounds this weekend!

Sweet!
I'm told that with what the Del Mar (CA.) fairgrounds association charges, you have to pay damn near $20 for a day pass to the Crossroads gun show when its held there. $10 to park and $9 to enter the show, minus that $1 if you remember to take the coupon. Sucks in San Diego county!
My issue with Crossroads as a group is that they let too many non-gun related booths run at their shows. Some folks like looking at crap. Me, I go for the guns and ammo. Call me biased and narrow minded. But if Crossroads is going to clog the floor with garbage, I'm going to call it as I see it.

Heading out if a few minutes, maybe I can convince my dad to get a Nagant or something in .22LR 3nodding
Going off of the one in September, there are a few non-gun booths there, like voter registration, a few airsoft booths, I even saw a few sword rofl booths. But mostly knife booths and LTL self defense products.

Back, bought a 2 inch Schrade knife and a Cold Steel True Flight Thrower!
Got to hold FN Five-seveN, semi-auto SCAR, a bunch of AR=15s, a couple of AKs, a Remmington 700 .223, semi-auto AUG, MP40, .22LR MP5, 870 Express, PS90.
Talked to a bunch of WW2 re-enactors, I will probably participate in one soon. biggrin
Got to hold a bunch of their weapons.

Replica PPSH-41 from some WW2 reenactors.  German weapons from the reenactors. The MP40 was real.  Dragunov-type Rifle. Probably not Russian.  Forget what it's called, but it is designed by the same team that make the CheyTac  ^Same rifle, but black and assembled  From the Miramar Air Show:  and some guy had this on his airsoft rifle at my birthday
