I kept hearing a rumor of DT on Marvel. Is that possible? I always thought he could be a villain or something... Maybe BlackBolt. Does anyone have more info? Does anyone like/hate the idea?

I've heard what are probably fan-made rumours of him being the Riddler for the next Batmovie, but I haven't heard anything about him for Marvel.
*Googles it*
According to an excerpt I found from Reader's Digest: "Hinting at possible future plans, Tennant reveals that as a child he loved Marvel’s The Avenger’s, a comic about a team of crime-fighting superheroes. “It’s yet to be made into a film, although I think there are rumblings. I’d be quite happy to be involved.” Indeed the film is in pre-production, with Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson already signed on.
David Tennant, superhero? Fans would say he’s played that role already."
Not that I don't adore him, but who the hell does he think he's going to play? The nerd role of Spiderman is taken, and he's a bit off the mark for that anyway, Bruce Banner is taken, and aptly so by Edward Norton, and he sure as hell ain't cut to play the Cap.
There aren't a lot of SUPERhero roles for a gangly Scotsman. Of course, I wouldn't have figured Robert Downy Jr. would make an effective superhero either, and thank all that's good and unbelievably hot in the universe that I was wrong about that.
Maybe he could manage Hank Pym. He's used to being called "Doctor" by now.

ooooo.... David Tennant in Marvel sounds interesting. @Twice II yes I agree that it woud be hard to put him in one of the Superheroes roles... he is a very different type of character and I see him finding it hard to cast him in anything that isnt like quirky or ennergenic person

Noooo. For one thing, someone's already NC. Also, I don't think he'll look good in blue. What about that X-man that died in the 1st issue in X-men comics? Wait.... He could be Northstar! biggrin

Does anyone like/hate the idea? First of all, BlackBolt isn't a villain. He's the leader of the Inhumans. Now that I've said that, I love the idea of Tennant in Marvel. I think he would make a great Vulture in the next Spiderman movie. Or maybe he could play The Vision.

I don't like being corrected incorrectly. ANYWAYS. Vulture? I don't know. I think DT's a little... young to play Vulture. Vision? That depends. I've never heard the Vision's voice before. Is he British? If so, that that IS possible. What about...Doctor Strange!

I like the idea of David Tennant as Dr. Strange, but I'm pretty sure that Dr. Strange is from New York City. The Vision was voiced by a British guy in the Saturday morning cartoon, and he was an Avenger, so I think that it might be a possibility. I also don't think he's too young to play the Vulture, since Robert Downy, Jr. was cast as Iron Man, a role that he was clearly too old for. (He did do a great job in the movie, don't get me wrong. He was just too old for the part.)
